21  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: If you do this can you hold bitcoin? on: June 20, 2024, 08:49:05 PM
I know there are some newbie thinking what to do to hold bitcoin, first, if you save money in your bank account, you can use the money to buy bitcoins and hold which is the wish of many holders in the community, secondly, if you grow your bitcointalk.org account to full member above and apply for signature campaign, and if you are accepted in that campaign, you can hold bitcoin which is the easiest way many people use  to hold bitcoin, thirdly, you can sell you land and property to hold bitcoin, which I have see someone on television some years ago, sharing his wealth secret to people, how he sold the land he inherited from his father to buy bitcoins and hold for long term before he sold to make money that turned him to millionaires in the country. What are the other ways people can hold bitcoin.
Inorder for you have a good investment and steady continuity in actually hoarding Bitcoin there are just simple basic things you need to know and also do which are
  • having a steady flow of Income so even if you have started hoarding Bitcoin, you won't be tempted to go and sell off your coins because of other expensive
  • having a whole lot of patience too, because so many people are of the opinion that Bitcoin investment is some kind of get rich scheme

For starters this principle are the basics you can possibly not fail to have if you are serious about patience hoarding Bitcoin and of course the DCA STRATEGY is well prepared as it helps you even you are not financial stable to acquire huge chunk of Bitcoin at once.
22  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What stage of the bullrun are we at now? on: June 19, 2024, 08:12:02 PM
Currently we are supposed to be experiencing the Bitcoin price correction, where the price of Bitcoin falls to a certain amount and then when the bull start it picks up and then boom. But it's seem we are only experience a bit of sideways trend. Maybe the price correction would take place sooner or later or even just go straight to the bull run. The most important part of this trend we are in now, is to keep holding with expectations after all if you're a long term trader holding during dumps shouldn't be a problem.
23  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin mentorship. on: June 19, 2024, 07:52:59 PM
To be honest I prefer make you and your mentor dey very close so that una fit dey relate well, instead of long distance relationship wey fit break or fit no dey effective I prefer make make the person dey see one on one so that I go fit express myself fluently. Though it's possible to learn from distance but, it cannot be compared to when una meet physically. And to find mentor wey fit dey explain things for you well for this forum go hard, because everybody just dey focused on doing their own thing, though you'll definitely learn from lots of persons but focusing on one person to teach you, you'll get lost brah.
24  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Can Bitcoin help to reduce crime? on: June 19, 2024, 07:45:12 PM
As e be say the block chain dey transparent for everybody to see, people wey get trust issue with each other fit employ am to take dey monitor their money for themselves should in case anything move dem go know. Them fit use this kind technique for contribution meetings and other societal gathering. Bitcoin Na one of the best invention ever. It's over a decade now and the technology still look brand new except the skyrocket in price which is also a plus for the network. Bitcoin get more advantage than we fit think of now Na just to hold be the main thing.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Committing mistakes helps us to become a responsible gambler. on: June 19, 2024, 05:40:46 PM
It's a general saying that wise persons learn from their mistakes and make amendment as quick as possible and they never fall again into same trap. For beginners who just started gambling, curiosity would definitely make them experience more loss than wins and how the gambler react to such situations matters. Most persons learn after they must have lost a huge sum while the smart and wise gambler would detect the error and make amendments by either reducing their stake or limiting the amount of time they visit or gamble.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 19, 2024, 05:16:10 PM
Fangs! Well, congrats on Leicester City’s promotion back to the EPL, can’t say it wasn’t deserving of them but, I don’t think they’ve got much fangs to display in the EPL frankly. I watched a couple of there championship games and was disappointed each time, I think that was towards end of season though and they messed up a couple of my best too. They aren’t quite prepared for the EPL but I hope they prove my wrong. I think they could manage and stay right behind the top 10, let’s say the top 15 although it’s too early to predict anything and the transfers are still on. Spurs would be out to redeem themselves and would be giving their fans a good head start I believe.

Well, congratulations to them, EPL of today can be quite unpredictable sometimes, even club with bad form could latter work out a good strategy for themselves to concede less goal or even luck there defence from letting the opponent penetrate through. However from their performance its obvious they need a new coach who can manage and motivate them, and they are already making plans for that, Steve Cooper might be the one to help liberate them from their nightmare of relegating next season. I anticipate to see how competitive the EPL would be when season starts.
27  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Crypto enthusiasts, take your safety serious. on: June 18, 2024, 09:56:12 PM
Normally, as crypto person for we country, we supposed dey hide our head like dis because we government no get joy and even d police Dem now no come dey find yahoo boys but people wey dey do crypto. D yahoo of a thing don too cast so tay any young guy wey just dress fine, or look responsible and neat Dem go just tag am as fraudster. D worst part na e be say even for inside public transport, our police Dem go still dey use eye dey observe who dress fine.
We all need to dey smart and avoid anything wey go make people put eye for we body. No be only police dey stop person but even criminals self, if Dem get sharp update for ur matter, Dem go target u. Just anything you dey do for public try dey observe well.
My brother no be small thing oo, because just the other day I dey travel go school I actually had this same issue with one of my boys as the guy dress pass him sef although I no know of na be say na 100vl student but still it's his choice of dressing and looking good isn't supposed to be crime or maybe I have missed some police rules that  actually warrant this police guys to make unnecessary choices and states them to do do it
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: Worldcup qualifiers - CAF. on: June 18, 2024, 09:40:44 PM
South Africa, Morocco and Cameroon will play later. I expect them to win with a possibility of a draw for Cameroon.

South Africa won 3 - 1 against Mozambique. Both teams scored two goals in the first two minutes of the game Roll Eyes
Congo 0 - 6 Morocco. That was a lot of emotional damage there!
Angola 1 - 1 Cameroon. As I expected, Cameroon got a draw after being in the lead in the first half of the game and the first minutes of the second half.. Cameroon was not an exception of this round with several disappointment.
That was incredible match and no one can forget this match because there are less matches in which that kind of performance we saw.Cameroon football team did first goal of match and I thinked Cameroon team will win because they were looking in good form but in the next 40 to 50 minutes match changed and match draw and both teams got 1,1 points .Ngadeu-Ngadjui did second goal and I think, that performance is top of the rank and we will see that match again and again because that kind of match will remain in our brain. Both
teams lineup were best and they gave max efforts to win this match.clapping for both teams.
Morocco have come again to be one of the teams that will surprise the most in the world. They are the only African team that I chose now about their activities, and how they play when they meet teams outside the country and other teams in the world. They possess well, play very well and finish very well,no wonder they are winning their games 6:0.
They are of a standard now that most African teams cannot reach, and with the way they play, you will definitely get to like them, all you need do is to watch their games.
Winning 6:0 or you rating them as high as you can doesn't actually make them superior or more tactical advanced than most Africa players and besides it just the qualifiers and I believe there are lots of African nations that are up to the standards of Morocco or even more better. But the thing is that the six goals for is something that's gonna definitely go a long way.
29  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Be cautious of honeypot scam in Airdrop on: June 18, 2024, 09:35:55 PM
Some people don't really understand how airdrops work. The first phase to knowing that it's entirely a scam is that a project that is willing to give you $1300 of their token for free can't even afford to pay for the $30 fee for you. That aside, anyone who understands how network fees work should also know that the fee is not even up to that high, so what do they want to do with the rest of the fee if it's not a scam?

Some people allow their desperate need for money to blindfold them from seeing what's clearly a scam in front of them, or will I call some of the action an act of greed, being too greedy? Like, maybe after all, why not pay the $30 when I will get $1300 at the end? It's just a fee to pay after all. I just hope a lot of people learn from this experience, do more research before they fall victim to more scammers traps, and fill their pockets.

This one na just a perfect example of that phrase which say there is nothing like free money anywhere. The reason why people even fall for these scams is because of the majority of people telling their greed to get a hold of them because it's only your greed that can possibly make you to do such nonsense with your money claim they can give you x 1000 of that money you paid.
30  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Consider all this before starting your Bitcoin journey. on: June 17, 2024, 09:50:37 PM
I dey always tell people say one of the best things to look out for Na your seed phrase because because anything wey make you loss am while your account don dey deleted for your device while coins still dey inside. Na why we need to dey very careful when we dey deal with seed phrase because Na of the most important information wey dey for crypto. And where you take save your coins also matters alot because exchanges Na no go area. Person wey dey keep em coin for exchanges just dey shook hand for fire because when e go burn am, e go be like say the world dey against em life. Many hackers dey on ground dey look for loop hole to take hack into the system and if them manage get their way, e mean say you coin don go be that.
31  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Does Bitcoin need advertisment? on: June 17, 2024, 09:39:13 PM
Bitcoin was created for everyone but everyone has actually heard about Bitcoin. Over the years, Bitcoin being a genuine project and lead several persons into sharing it's good news to others and that's one of the way the network keeps expanding. I've actually come across anyone being paid to advertise Bitcoin, because the legacy it has created still stands but today, the current trend of cryptocurrency is only trying to create a bad legacy for Bitcoin as most persons generalises Bitcoin with other cryptocurrencies this making the errors of other to be part of Bitcoin.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino/gambling center near an institution of learning? on: June 17, 2024, 09:27:53 PM
At this point, what happens to the students at the institute in regards to gambling is a self choice, because as educated persons, they ought to know more, the implications of getting addicted. It doesn't need to be taught in class  before students of high institution should be able to understand its effect if they get addicted. Things like this are common these days as casino are only trying to get good locations where they can easily get bettors to patronise them especially with the fact that the young ones gambling more than the aged due to curiosity and urge to make money swiftly. And this another reason why self discipline should be taught at home, because we never know the kind of peer pressure they might be passing through at school or anywhere beyond our watch.
33  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ambulance - Campaign - Ukraine on: June 16, 2024, 11:35:15 PM
Hello everyone

It's not a question of a lot or a little, everyone just as he can without getting into trouble himself.

Only the thought and will counts and even these small sums / support help a lot.

So we have got four vehicles together and are very proud of them and of course of all of you here.

However, we could still use some active support for the final transport financing (fuel, meals for the drivers and helpers, accommodation and some other transport costs).

The transportation or transfer is planned for the end of June at the beginning of July, we are currently coordinating this with the doctors from the Ukraine and the military so that it arrives where it is needed and we can return home healthy.

We, the aid organization, would like to thank you all once again, without you so many things would not have been possible.
On behalf of the doctors and the people of Ukraine, our deepest respect.

As we said, every cent is needed and arrives, please support us again, thank you

Please stay healthy and everyone hopes that this will end soon.

Greetings Tim

Wow this is indeed a great project that you have embarked on my friend although I don't visit this board that much but I was able to spot this campaign of your through some of the users I do track on my telegram superbot@ lucius and some other reputable members like 1miau and lots more I learn from. although I hope you they won't take it some other way round please 🙏, it's all how I have learnt a lot here.

34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: June 15, 2024, 03:04:28 PM
It’s impossible not to admire Toni Kroos’ performance. As you mentioned, Germany’s playmaker Kroos successfully completed 99 percent of his 102 passes. This was recorded as the highest percentage of successful passes by a player who made over 100 passes in a European Championship match. Additionally, Kroos was at the start of almost all attacks. He really delivered an outstanding performance last night. It’s very sad to know that he will retire from football after EURO 2024.
I was not surprised to see Toni Kroos' performance because he is a senior player who has above average quality, but his decision to retire was a bit surprising because in terms of quality he is still very good and he still has a strong enough physique to continue to show his best performance.

Germany's victory in the opening match of this Euro was quite landslide and even in the last few Euro events, it was a big win in an open match and indeed, in terms of quality, Germany is quite ready and good at this year's Euro.

I hope Germany can win the Euros this year and it will be a sweet farewell to Toni Kroos, he has been with the team when they won the CL and if he manages to get the Euro trophy it might be quite an impressive farewell to Toni Kroos.
Well I don't know if anyone was as shocked as I was when I saw the scoreline, because thats not what I expected seeing how Germany have been struggling to meet up with their performance these last two to three years, but with this kind of start they will definitely be a team to watch out for because if they continue like this then other teams would need to watch out for this German team.
35  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: June 15, 2024, 02:58:51 PM
Nice wins, congrats.
Just don't make the mistake and redeposit the whole withdrawal, go enjoy the money that you won.
There is no problem with making a small deposit but if I were you I would use the biggest part of it to get/do something for yourself, otherwise you will regret it, trust me.

Oh, I am pretty aware of these regrets unfortunately... I have had an experience when I lost many that I have won, I know, how it feels. Now I am more cautious and I try to stop in a right time. I also believe that it is better to take some time and step away from gaming, otherwise the risks of it turning into an addiction are very high.
Thank God you know yourself and for reason I feel its actually an unavoidable event too but the major lesson there is just to be cautious for it not to be a regular occurrence for you. Well congrats on your winnings it always a joy for me to see someone win because we all understand that this game sometimes it's basically not for the money because many who followed that way have ended up many times with regrets so anytime I see winning it's gives me some sort of joy because I understand how the game can be sometimes.
36  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Naija they take full advantage of Bitcoin on: June 15, 2024, 02:49:01 PM
Hi community,
Making some research this morning i had to understand that Nigeria is among the top countries that trade Bitcoin most, only behind, India, China and the United States of America, this is a nice one, because even with the current unemployment rate in our country the youths have found a way to make money legally without settling down for crimes and illegal activities, that shows that as a country we take full advantage of technology and make profit out of it, it's a nice one let's continue the good work of making our fatherland proud.
Even when our government wan disgrace us, we still no gree for them.
Most Nigerian youth basically engage in Bitcoin because I could say it legal and they no need to they run from EFCC unlike people wey de into internet fraud. And again the rate of unemployment have made most youth run into the internet “Bitcoin” to be precise and other cryptocurrency. The number will always keep increasing because Nigerian government have done nothing about the rate of unemployment. As people de graduate everyday and de go into labor market dem come find out say job no de, most of them if not all of them go run come internet and most of dem go choose crypto world over yahoo or internet fraud.

Let say maybe if something should change in system about the rate of unemployment, Nigeria numbers in crypto world will always increase and don’t be surprised if we get to in Top 3 in the coming years. Even instance just check within your friends, the number of your friends that are into crypto keeps increasing every year, so na how e be for almost everybody side. So within 2-3 years Nigeria de top 3 because other countries wey de top out front de more infrastructure pass us and their rate of unemployment no recah our own.
Nigeria government have tried to fight cryptocurrency and Bitcoin to be specific but in all their efforts it's seems the growth and the massive use just keeps increasing and even till today that they are restricting people's account their is still active trade going on through the P2P method of trading Bitcoin and this has increased and made millions of youth even successful as some Nigerians youth now make it through being active vendors that trade Bitcoin on big exchanges like binance and the rest and also through investment means people are also benefiting big time from Bitcoin in Nigeria. Infact there are lots of business that still also accept Bitcoin as a means of payment there by improving the standards of their investment in Bitcoin as they can easily save up the Bitcoin for wealth to be gained maybe sometime in near future as Bitcoin is gradually growing every single days despite the fact the bear season is a fixed market too.
37  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Crypto farmers on: June 15, 2024, 02:43:45 PM
I say make I bring this one to our notice. Recently, Naija and other African countries don dey recognise as the world largest crypto farmers. So tay e affect many of our business men and women for society. With the way things dey go so no body for our country wan dull am again, about 70% of the youths don dey farm sites like tapswap, hamster combat, yes coin etc
Well watin you expect? Cryptocurrency is all the rave now in Nigeria sef to be specific because I don't see any other African country that has the massive population of crypto users and consumers like Nigeria and plus say na one of the biggest population for the world at large sef. Crypto currency don really help the youth and also so many businesses for Nigeria and Africa at large and anytime I hear about this particular trend of notcoin, hamster combat and so many others it just makes me think back to the glory days of airdrop and some good crypto projects where in just a twinkle of an eyes someone can farm lots of profits.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can easily find 3 odds games on casinos but hard to find on sport on: June 14, 2024, 09:53:17 PM
If I were asked, "between casinos and betting bookies, which is more addictive?" My answer will be both. Being addicted to gambling is not dependent on the type of gambling or the game; rather, it depends fully on the gambler. Some of my circle of friends back in my school days were all sports bettors, but there were some of them who were still addicted. Casino games can make a gambler addicted as much as betting on bookies can also make the gambler addicted.

Well you are not wrong but its just that everyone is actually speaking on behalf of their opinion and for me I would go with the thoughts of actually saying that casino games are indeed more addictive than sportbets games and this particular game @virtual soccer games is the exact description of a game that can get you addicted very fast and believe me its one hell of a game although I don't know the particular category I would class this though.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 14, 2024, 09:35:59 PM
This wouldn't be a problem if one club dominated in a fair way (although no one likes multi-year domination like Juventus/Bayern anyway), but City have turned the Premier League into a farmers' league in a cheating way and that makes the situation even worse. But there is still hope that by the end of next season the League will deal with City and this will breathe new life into the title race and interest to competition, because in fact last season all the other three top leagues were more interesting.
You have a point because premier at a point became not interesting and no many people showed interest on who becomes the league winners because it was obvious after Manchester City took over the top table to be the winner of the Premier League competition last season. Arsenal and Liverpool which everyone thought will give the league some interesting competition didn’t do well when they were suppose to stand as the biggest rivals of Manchester City but allowed them to dominate and still secure another premier league title. If they win it for another time, premier league will definitely lose it as the most competitive league they were once known for in the past amongst the top five leagues in Europe.
I believe if someone like Mikel Arteta were to be the manager of Arsenal for the past 5 or 6 seasons,He should have taken Arsenal to their first premier league tittle by now. With the way he showed strong rivalry to Manchester City last season,it is very obvious that he has that squad that can compete with City now.He brought Declan Rice who was the rock solid to Arsenal's midfield last season, and made them stand firm when the squad seemed weak.I believe since the gunners failed last season ,they will recruit more players in this summer transfer window, and get their first Premier league tittle next season.

It went too obvious after Manchester City took over the Premier League table. And seriously, it wasn’t interesting since they were not any team that could compete with them at that point. Although last season Arsenal really tried their best to compete with them till the last match that Manchester City later took the title as of Arsenal, they were really hoping for them to get the title last season, but unfortunately they did not. Although I can’t call Arsenal a weak team seriously, they are strong. It's just that they are a little weak when the season is about to end, and I don’t know why it's happening that way every season. I think they should get some players that can play the full season without any disappointment.
For now I wouldn't class it yet as boring because I believe Manchester City themselves were actually scared because Arsenal were red hot on their tails and I believe if they was still time and more games in the league then maybe Arsenal would have by chance  maybe gotten the opportunity they needed to win the league for the first time in like two decays.
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's winning the Euro 2024 Tournament? on: June 14, 2024, 09:28:51 PM
Hi all,

In relation to our competition here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5498852.0 where you can win tickets to the Euro 2024 Final!

Who do you think will win the Euro 2024 tournament?

We say Portugal... what about you?
Well I would say France is my pick and I don't know about any other team most especially Portugal but who knows its football we can never be too certain and that's why the game is always filled with surprises.  The euros will be very interesting because they are so many promising teams that the squad is filled with promising players and they are also young and vibrant too like the likes of Italy, Spain and even the runners up England.
