Though Nigeria were supposed to win South Africa in this match but don't forget that for the fact that Nigerian players are playing in some of the major leagues in Europe doesn't mean that they can beat other countries without stress because league football is different from the country matches because in the league players are familiar with each others play pattern while in country games players from different clubs come together to play for their country so you don't expect them to have same experience as they do in their respective league games and again I don't know why you see that other African countries domestic leagues are better than the Nigerian league even though the league is still developing gradually but yet Nigeria still have quality and standard players that plays in the NPFL so they don't need to be intimidated by any African country that has already succeeded in building their league.
There is no sentiment between the Nigerian players and their head coach, they just played their best in my opinion.

I don't agree with you about the Nigeria team, that were are supposed to win the south Africa team, you shouldn't also forget that the south Africa team has players playing in their domestic league, and are doing well, so you think because the Nigerian players are playing in Europe, they should have just trashed the south African team, no football is like that. the south African domestic league is one the best in the whole of Africa,  If not for anything, you saw how wonderful they where during the game, and that is proof of how good they are. If you watch that game, you will notice the bafana bafana team had more chances to even score more goals than the Nigerian team. Don't forget that during their previous encounter during the just concluded African nations cup, the both teams played draw during the regular time and even the extra time, Nigeria had to win during the penalty shootout. The truth is, the south African team is not just push over team.

I get your point though South Africa may have the best domestic league in Africa but that doesn't mean that they are better team than Nigeria even if South Africa players also plays in top leagues in Europe but the Nigerian players are more visible and recognized than South Africa players. Okay just look at Victor Boniface that won the Bundesliga with Bayern Leverkusen, Ademola Lookman that won the Europa league with Atalanta, what of Victor Osimhen these are world class players that are playing at different leagues in Europe but for South Africa players, none of them are playing for any big team in Europe so believe me Nigeria have more greater players that South Africa but what i just see is that there is a kind of chemistry that exists between this two countries that is why their matches are always difficult to predict and most of the time, they ends in draw.

I talked about it in my previous post. I think the action by the NFF to appoint a “technical adviser” is a slap to the face of the Super Eagles manager, Finidi George. Although I know for sure that he is not going to quit because of a trivial issue like this, it’s been years since the Super Eagles had a local coach, Finidi is well aware of the little confidence the NFF has in local coaches and local talent in general and he knows they wouldn’t think twice about cutting him loose if he objects.

1) Jose Poseiro to make a return.
2) Toni Conceicao who was former Braga and Cameroon coach.
3) Herve Renard who was the former Ivory Coast and Zambia coach
4) Steve Cooper who was former Nottingham forest coach
5) Jean-Louis Gasset who was former Ivory Coast manager
6) Rui Vitoria who was former Egyptian coach.
7) Jurgen Klinsmann who was former Germany international and manager.

I do not know about the other coaches, but I will prefer if NFF can bring back Jose Poseiro, it is not too late for him to continue with the project he started with the team.

He made a fast move instead of waiting for him to be sacked first, because definitely he will be sacked. I don't know what is wrong with NFF, Nigeria ex-players should not be given the opportunity to coach the super Eagles because it will be a failure. If NFF are serious and wants the team to come out with good results, they need to hire a foreign coach.

As Nigerians, we know that the foreign coaches understand the technical aspect of football better than our former Nigeria players. It is just that NFF are confused and do not know what they are doing, which I might say that some of those NFF officials are incompetent and don't know what the national team needs to become successful.

Having issues with players when he has nothing to backup his perfection as the most fit to manage the Nigeria Super Eagles squad, I feel really sorry for his incompetency both on the field and what he tries to show the public. He requested on media that we let him do his job, now this is what we get as the outcome even looking back to the level of players we have in the squad that most countries who we lost and drew to were no match for us. Him resigning is what he has to do without anyone telling him, his incompetency has cost us a lot, zero win in all four matches played, worst result far than what was expected.

As for me it is even better the Super Eagles will not qualify for the world cup because even if they qualified they will not do well and give the fans heart attack and if they are not there we all know that they are not there so there will no disappointment again. And as it is Super Eagles are out of the game because their chances to qualify was for Zimbabwe to win South Africa but South Africa won them with 2-1 and I don't think Nigeria will win their last game. So automatically Nigeria is out. Let's choose another country football team to support in the world cup.

It will be sad that Nigeria for the second time in a row is failing to qualify for the world cup and they are not even doing anything about it, recently I saw in a news that the head coach resigned recently and we know how much that can affect a team, it not a good reputation of a country like Nigeria who used to be the symbol of Africa to at this point not be able to qualify for the world cup again, even with all the big names we have on the global platform of football, were are still struggling to qualify, just like you did said of they get to qualify they are going to struggle because if they were going to do any better, it would have been evident in their performance in the qualifying games but they are still struggling very much, meeting other top European teams will mean a bigger struggle for them.

No manager likes to have a player who they cannot control, and Victor Osimhen's antics against the coach shows that he can sometimes get out of control.

I find it immature and disrespectful for Osimhen to bring the rumored words he had about himself from Finidi George to a live video(online). I think his actions to be a immature one in that regard. He would have called Finidi George to trash it out or call for a live podcast to explain to Nigerians the main reason why he wasn't available for the World Cup qualification matches against Benin Republic and South Africa. That would have been a lovely approach coming from him(Osimhen) because we Nigerians know how dedicated and passionate Osimhen has been playing in the Super Eagles match.

Now you're focusing on how he responded, why not what was said to him? This is no good way to go about it. One quote I keep close to my heart has got to be " Respect is Reciprocal " irrespective of the age, money and whatever, if I'm not being respected, I'd either avoid the person or tell the person how I feel about whatever that was done and if I keep silent totally about it, I might be scheming around against you cooking things up definitely. The difference between what you expect and what you see will make every coach simply resign to avoid being sacked and generally the coach hears from people close to the administration that it is time to quit.
The Nigerian national team had to win in most games otherwise the coach position will be threatened and this what exactly happened. Mali's coach was sacked too for the same reason..

Sometimes I ask myself why some of these ex Super Eagles players who find themselves as the coach of the national team always have issues with the current players they're going to manage. For someone like Finidi George who has won so many titles for both club(s) and country with his experience still be having time to speak ill of these young ones while they're suppose to guide them on how to make the Super Eagles bounce back to those glorious days.
I won't blame Finidi on some of the problem the national team are facing now because he (Finidi George) did not put himself in charge of the Eagles, NFF are at fault. That's if we want who to blame I'd say 60% blame should go to the NFF while the media coach should hold on to the 40%, the only way I feel can stop this switching of coaches from foreign to home base coaches is just to appoint someone (home base or foreign) who has what it takes to manage the team and allow him be, let him decide on how or what to do with the boys, not by controlling and ordering the manger when they feel like, it won't work.

That's your opinion. You can find it unprofessional, or whatever Victor Oshime has been disrespected by Finidi George, he was just tryna clear the air. Respect is Reciprocal, Yes? He disrespected Victor Oshime despite being the coach, Nigerian legend or whatever y'all may address him. It tells a lot about him, because he was aware of everything about Victor Oshime even had direct talks with the doctor concerning Victor Oshime being Injured.

Congo 0 - 6 Morocco. That was a lot of emotional damage there!
Angola 1 - 1 Cameroon. As I expected, Cameroon got a draw after being in the lead in the first half of the game and the first minutes of the second half.. Cameroon was not an exception of this round with several disappointment.

That was incredible match and no one can forget this match because there are less matches in which that kind of performance we saw.Cameroon football team did first goal of match and I thinked Cameroon team will win because they were looking in good form but in the next 40 to 50 minutes match changed and match draw and both teams got 1,1 points .Ngadeu-Ngadjui did second goal and I think,that performance is top of the rank and we will see that match again and again because that kind of match will remain in our brain. Winning 6:0 or you rating them as high as you can doesn't actually make them superior or more tactical advanced than most Africa players and besides it just the qualifiers and I believe there are lots of African nations that are up to the standards of Morocco or even more better. People love blaming other people for their failure. Who cares what is happening in NFF, the important thing is that they should not bring their corruption and biased minds into the affairs of the team, because it is going to affect their performance. Nigeria have always made wrong decisions that do cost them a lot and I don't know why it is like that.

Findi George should just walk away and understand that he is not competent in coaching the super Eagles after he was given a chance to prove himself capable, instead of putting the blame on the players.
