Here's a not-so-easy solution: 1. Sell your XMR for BTC/USDT on exchanges like Binance 2. Withdraw the BTC/USDT from Binance to your preferred US exchange 3. Sell the BTC/USDT for USD or.. You can sell the XMR straight to USD on peer-to-peer exchanges like HodlHodl[1], LocalCryptos[2], and Bisq[3].
[1] https://hodlhodl.com/[2] https://localcryptos.com/[3] https://bisq.network/I'm a NY resident and Bianance doesn't allow us to utilize their service.

Question for those that mine Monero in the US... where do you exchange your Monero for BTC or USD?

A moderator moved it to here, I didn't post in this section.

Question for those that mine Monero in the US... where do you exchange your Monero for BTC or USD?
***EDIT***
I'm not sure why this was moved out of the alt coin section since the question is focused on Monero miners and what exchanges they use...

This week I have a lot of restarts I am trying to find the reason I was stable about 6 months.
Are you mining against NiceHash? Nice hash has sucked so much I moved all gear to viabtc. I concur, I'm mining on Ethermine.

I usually point my GPU miner at either NiceHash or Ethermine.org. Recently I stopped using NiceHash due to my miners stability while attached to their pool. The downside to Ethermine is that I accumulate Altcoins instead of Bitcoin.

What mining software are you using?
|
|
|
You need to download a miner for the algo you want and then run a .bat file for that miner specifically.
In the .bat file you can direct the hashrate to the nicehash server and your nicehash account.
It would be a lot easier just to run NHOS or windows and NH miner.
Agreed, I suggested that above. I think he wants to manage 16 of 17 separate PC's as slaves off of 1 of them as the master. NHOS makes sense for the 16 slaves and just run the NiceHash Miner on the last PC and manage everything through the NiceHash website. He said he doesn't want to install anything, but I don't think he realizes that he just needs to install NHOS on 16 USB drives and configure with BTC address and miner name.

I dont want to install any os or anything. Just want it to run the same .bat file everytime. So basicilly i just need the vises bat file wich redirects to the nicehash gui With only cmd showing and nothing Else.
And yes sorry I know posted wrong -_-
I honestly don't know what direction to give since I don't know what hardware you're mining with, nor do I know what you're mining? I honestly don't know what computer hardware you plan on mining with since your first post requested which algorithm to mine with. Can you be more specific on hardware? Are you currently mining anything? If so, are you using CPU, GPU or dedicated ASIC?

Hi I am trying to mine from a slave PC that only needs the cmd Window running. That way connected to my Main rig So i got another one popped on the mining without a interface showing on the slave PC.
By slave PC, do you mean that you are mining with the PC's GPU and CPU? If you're mining with a GPU on NiceHash, you can install NiceHash Operating System (NHOS) on the "slave" PC and utilize your main PC using the NiceHash Miner (software) and manage everything from inside the NiceHash website Console Page. Also, this is really a altcoin question unless you are mining with some physical dedicated bitcoin hardware.

I'm confused. Are you buying from the Hashing Marketplace or are you trying to point your miner at NiceHash?
The page that you linked is for how to configure your pool settings in NiceHash to mine on F2Pool. I sometimes use NiceHash to F2Pool and the settings are pretty straight forward.

Well if it was true cost 769 + 54 tax = 823 and direct from EVGA I would have got 4 pieces
I got just the one and paid the 856. I will hook it up with the threadripper 3970x. The unit should pull 400-500 watts and will run in my house as a space heater until April.
I am also waiting for the better amd but I am not a fan of either. I just want good cards.
I stopped mining at nicehash due to poor stability. I have almost every rig point at viabtc.com it is a very stable 1.85gh
Once I figure out which I like more of I will push to get 20x of them.
I will be selling off all the 1080ti's
Are you mining Monero with the Threadripper? I'm still having stability issues on NiceHash with SimpleMinerOS restarting on a regular basis and it's frustrating. I've been mining on Ethermine, but that means that I'm accumulating ETH instead of BTC. I didn't bother going to VIABTC because I'm only running 1 rig with 4 cards and it will take me months to get a payout.

I'm running kernel: 5.0.21-SM11 driver: AMD19.50r5.2.6 with 4 RX5700XT graphic cards using TeamRedMiner. Overclock: Core: 1300 Memory: 900 Undervolt: 800 Power Stage: 7 I have no issues and run stable mining with teamredminer-v0.7.17 on Ethermine. I've also used teamredminer-v0.7.16c with Ethermine with no stability issues. Both running this start up: Ethermine startup: -a ethash -o stratum+ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555 -u 0xdd484cddd2ad58d2f562db2973ce1f87b59826e4.$rigName -p x --api_listen --watchdog_script When I try mining on NiceHash I am unstable and the miner restarts multiple times due to crashing. I can't utilize teamredminer-v0.7.17 at all because GPU's keep appearing as dead and restart. When using teamredminer-v0.7.16c I also have dead GPU issues. NiceHash startup: -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://daggerhashimoto.usa.nicehash.com:3353 -u 3DBqCED2PaDE8cQC1PVNd61vgTz2ijCdC8.$rigName -p x --api_listen --watchdog_script Last crash: [2020-11-11 14:27:38] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2020-11-11 14:27:38] GPU 2: detected DEAD (0a:00.0), will execute restart script watchdog.sh [2020-11-11 14:27:38] Watchdog script executor thread executing script 'watchdog.sh' Rebooting (by mining software). I'm holding out until the new AMD cards are released later this month. I hope they are as good as the 5700XT's...

I am thinking about getting a small screen and cutting the clear acrylic side and having the screen mounted there with a btc ticker displayed.
That should be pretty simple, there are a bunch of tutorials for making a Bitcoin Ticker. I may play around and make one that brings back BTC, ETH and LTC.

it was asked for me to share the dual rasp pi - here we go. I have one pi running the HS1Plus's and Terminator R606's - the second pi is running DojoRonin - I plan on trying a few of these full node softwares - the next one will be mynode package in a few weeks when I give it a try as well. There are a few others I wish to try as well.
That is sweet. is it actually water-cooled?
