When the people of the world will get that covid was intentionally released to frame china, steal the election from trump, assure massive bail outs and foster the forced vaccination agendas...they will forget, like 911, wmds in irak, uss liberty or pedogate.

Yeah! me.
I finally snagged a card
Nvidia EVGA 10g-p5-3885-kr
a small mark up
I paid 856
used PayPal
six months to pay.
Got two of the Founders Edition cards for a build for work, through our HPC supplier. They seem to be getting back in stock but are slightly upmarked. We paid 770 each. Are the founders edition cards also good for mining? Might have to test and stress test the equipment, before we use it

nice, i need a 3080 too New rig I just did, 8x5700xt sapphire, 55mhs each @ 110w gpuz, 155-160watts at the wall (120v, 80+ psu). Big difference in quality, stability vs asrock for example. Might try to shave 10w off each if it runs a week without a restart.

Hmm a bit offtopic: As stores that accept bitcoin are extremely limited, how would you proceed to make purchases on other "normal" stores?

I would convert to cash on coinbase if I were a USA 🇺🇸 citizen.

Please note that selling btc on coinbase into other coins or cash 💵 may create a tax reportable event. A tax reportable event may or may not mean you owe tax. Ie buy 2 coins in dec 2017 for 32000 I sell it for 32000 in Nov 2020. the transaction is over 20000 it is reportable. no loss no gain so no tax obligation. but reportable. note all usa tax law. above. also I am not a tax expert and this is not advice.

yeah i always cash in an extra 20-30% or so and keep it in fiat as this prevents unpleasant surprises if the price tanks; i just stick it in a cd or something. it may leave profits on the table but i have no urge to owe the irs money or have to sell coin at a crappy price. or sell any other assets to cover taxes.

thanks I built another 6gpu rig 5700xt today, ill post pics its nice, on a wire rack. I'm basically using all my psu's and motherboards I have left. Mobo was easy, it was a B250 mining with the 13 pcie slots. 2 1000w evga GQ. 1-8pin+1-6pin+1-6pin or molex for each gpu makes for a lot of cables. I have a bunch of old psu adapters for 2 gpu rigs if anyone needs ill give you a couple, and the usb-m.2 slot adapters for adding a 7 or 8th gpu to the mobo. Its fun getting started with rigs again.

i had withdrawal issues when i didnt have any gear running, always had seti/folding rigs before bitcoin or gpu/fpga/asics for bitcoin for the longest time. stopped for a year when asics became beasts that were not really home friendly and couldnt stand it, so built a gpu shitcoin rig just to have that nice white noise hum in the basement heh

So it looks like difficulty bomb will be hit at the end of June 2021, about 7.5 months from now. At that point ETH profitability will tank and I fully expect Vitalik to drop the block reward to 1 ETH or even cancel transaction fees to miners. If that's the case I can't see any of my cards being paid off in a reasonable time. It sucks because we're heading into winter but I think I'm going to just sit on the sidelines for the next round and just pick up on any crashes. Perhaps ETC can pick up some slack, but the 4GB cards are all going to slam that coin.

I would buy three or four more 3080s. but my discount caps at 5% of 1500. since I paid 856 a card I capped out my 5% cc discount along with my take six months to pay at a cost of only a 12 dollar fee. still three of these should do about 285 mh which is about 7 a day. cost was 3x856= 2568-75= 2493- 1600 for the five 1080tis so i am out of pocket 893+12= 905 I have six months to pay. should pay it about four months. All cards will pay off soon.
