21  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Igot Australia taking 2 weeks and counting for small BTC withdrawal on: October 13, 2015, 10:56:00 AM
... And I have been getting replies to my support tickets up to 3 days ago.
I am soon screwed if they steal this money...
22  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Igot Australia taking 2 weeks and counting for small BTC withdrawal on: October 13, 2015, 10:50:09 AM
Thanks, but I did some reading regarding that scam report and I'm sure I've read about customers receiving their withdrawals since then. BUT they took their sweet time.
I can't get a straight answer from them but if I go ape shit or try and pull all my BTC out at once, they might go full retard on me. Sad

This has happened to me before at this exchange and I did my money..... Eventually. Sad

23  Economy / Scam Accusations / Igot Australia taking 2 weeks and counting for small BTC withdrawal on: October 13, 2015, 09:39:13 AM
..Just like the last time.... :

Delayed replies to 1 in 5 report tickets if that.
Replies contain no real info.
Promises made and then broken by support staff.
Same old cr@p and still no BTC.

...I know I know, I shouldn't have left any coins on there but the amount of KYC info I had to hand over left me thinking that they MUST be legit??/
Surely having to comply with that many regulations means that they are too???

Will supply screenshots and support tickets if I must but I fear if I go after them too hard (for MY own money FFS)  that they will keep screwing me around. Sad

Yep, I'm getting that sinking feeling too. 😞
What a waste of an amazing idea.   Looks like a lot of us are going to be left holding empty bags.
Fuck I hate my life.... Always having faith in the wrong ideas.

The idea is sound, but the execution seems to have halted eons ago.

Yup.  The idea is awesome.  I didn't invest enough to even make it worth selling my bag at this price... I'm just gonna forget about it and hope for a fairytale.

who gives a f*ck about a dutch bank?
The Dutch?

ING is also in USA mainly for investments than checking/saving

ING and Rabo are in Australia too.... I'd never bank with them... Follow the trail and you'll find that they're both heavily invested in Israeli arms companies. In fact most banks are fucking scum.
......another reason why I choose BTC.

ron paul makes a good point why bitcoin would not be a good replacement for the failing 'in god we trust' to print and manipulate dollar, he says: "On reason Greece has been forced to seek bailouts from its EU partners is that Greece ceded control over its currency when it joined the European Union." http://ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2015/july/12/greece-today-america-tomorrow/

bitcoin would be just like the euro.. it would not work. only a metals backed currency will work as a replacement for the broken dollar 'interest to infinity' debt slavery system.

here is a scenario that bitcoiners could possibly face.. as the dollar is about to be replace during the "big block of cheese day" when all the cheese is turned into cheesecakes the cheesecakes will be worth less in the new currency. it will be the same for bitcoin because bitcoins will be priced in dollars but dollars will be worth less in the new currency. therefore bitcoins will receive the same haircut as those people who have their cheese turned into cheesecakes.

i still own a lot of bitcoins and i do not believe it will just die... but i no longer believe bitcoins is going to suddenly become some worldwide reserve currency and we are all suddenly going to be buying boats.. the state of Texas is building a gold depository, and not a bitcoin depository... they are demanding their gold from the fed. we will be able to trade metals for bitcoin and vice versa i am sure, but it will be metals that have the huge value more than bitcoin.
The question is: will they get it?

Bitcoin is not some magical fairy dust, but at it's core it is extremely disruptive and will change a lot of things we can't even fathom yet. I wouldn't listen to too many old-school thinkers on this topic, they just don't have the foresight to see what bitcoin means. Plus they mostly also have vested interests in the current system.

It's been said sooo many times before: ZOOM OUT!

Right Fucken on.  Zoomle out and hodle

Awfully quiet in here..... Now would be a good time to have this brilliant coin ready to rock given that crypto is being thrust into the limelight due to global financial stuff..... The uniqueness and anonymous nature of steganography based transactions make this coin's potential HUGE!
Time to get this happening.

I finally received my small btc withdrawal after 27 days.  I'm concerned for the rest of my coins they hold but I don't wanna even try and withdrawal the rest of my coins while that bloody splashscreen is still there warning me of their 6 week long wallet upgrade....
30  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BEWARE: igot.com is either running a scam or is out of cash on: June 12, 2015, 01:03:37 AM
Update: My BTC transfer went through today!  Smiley .... Only took a month. Embarrassed

Latest reply from Igot regarding my BTC:

"Thank you for your email.

We’re currently deploying new code and are hopeful this will resolve the wallet issues.

We expect things to get back to normal soon.

In the meantime, if you wish to sell your bitcoin and cash out, we are happy to offer $5 above our sell price per bitcoin in your local currency.

Regards,

Julie"

Should I cash out or sit tight???   According to Reddit, It seems like people are slowly getting their money/BTC.

I've been waiting almost a month for a 2btc withdrawal and have more than 30 btc sitting on their exchange.  Pardon my French, but I am shitting my pants over this. My life as I know it is over if they steal those coins.  😢
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 02, 2015, 02:33:03 AM
My kingdom for Satoshi's opinion on all of this..... I think it's time he re-appeared to give us all some hope. He's not the messiah, I get that... but his input would certainly have a huge effect on the momentum and the attitude of the revolution that he spawned.
Where art thou Satoshi?  There's good people mixed in with the greedy rabble that want to see this succeed for all the right reasons and making some bank in the process is a fitting reward for those of us who have tirelessly supported what was a futuristic and revolutionary idea, with our time, our money and our emotions.

Also, would someone please be kind enough to post an updated troll list?

I am expecting some dumps in T-30 minutes.

They will be in the range of 80,000 to 100,000BTC.

Thank me later.  Wink

...if only I could tell which gossip to believe... My average buy price is around $300 and I've been hodling/slowly accumulating for a couple of years now.... I read pages and pages of what amounts to "shit" every day, all over the intermanet and have never had the nuts to attempt a single tradle. If you're not just talking your book, I thank you for sharing this tidbit of gold in this sea of faecies.

It's his book. Roll Eyes

Edit: might be yours, too. Wink Roll Eyes Lips sealed

My paltry stash of bitcorns are too few in number to be considered a "book".

....I guess its a classic trait of the eternally optimistic bitfanboi : easy to buy after a drop, impossible to sell after a rise.  😢

Can one of you gentlemans assist me by posting a current list of those that aren't gentleman?
I've discovered a region on my trackpad that is noticeably worn. It's position coincides precisely with my pointer's position on the screen when I rush to ignore someone. It's most disconcerting.  Angry

The trolls are getting frantic, there's no doubt about it.
It makes me harder than a cat's head, knowing that I hold a small amount of the very thing that can turn human beings into such desperate and driven trolls.

My precious BTC havess much powerserz.

Keep feeding my erection you scared little people.  It's going up and you know it.

yes, but their feature set lacks what SSD is capable of. Darkcoin and Monero are in the spotlight right now but Darkcoin is not truly decentralised and thus not as anonymous and Monero is truly anon but lacks the feature set of SSD.
This coin is a sleeper and when it is updated and working perfectly AND publicised, it may well rocket up in popularity and price.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: March 28, 2015, 03:49:34 PM
I agree its the best privacy coin but its not the only coin that uses TOR. IMO What makes SSD special is that it uses the same algo as Bitcoin so any features that are developed for this coin could be used for bitcoin in the future making this coin worth a lot to those invested in bitcoin as well. In other words those who have a vested interest in bitcoin being private should also invest in SSD. To me this means SSD could be worth more than most privacy coins.

right on brother. That's why I'm holding a pile of these. The amount of work in this coin is already worth more than it's price at the moment.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: March 27, 2015, 09:52:56 AM
The need for a truly untraceable and fully fungible coin has come into the spotlight even more these last couple of weeks. SSD's features satisfy these criteria better than any of the other alt coin right now. Let's fucken launch this thing.
The features speak for themselves, if the developer get's everything working as planned this coin WILL fill a niche and increase in value.
I'm still holding based on features alone as I know nothing about the developer of this coin. Fingers crossed he's a man who does what he says will.
