Dan is the official Boston point of contact for the Ethereum project? Wow... that is f'ing legit! This is only a guess, but I'd be willing to bet there's more to this Blocknet <---> Ethereum relationship than just Dan being the point of contact for Ethereum, Boston. Simply put, Ethereum's DApp network and BlockNet's xbridge (decentralised cross-chain communication) would be a perfect marriage. If this is the case, it would be fantastically beneficial for both projects. I suppose time will tell.

How low do you reckon we could go?

Awesome! Onward and upward, Blocknet! Any plans for a decentralized marketplace?
Yup. But not soon. There are other layers that would need to come first. I see. Can you share which layers need to come before the decentralized marketplace? Thanks.

If there is a problem with reward formula it can't be fixed because you might get deeply concerned? The formula was changed, and people decided to download the client with the changed formula, thus the trust was not destroyed.
The dev of darkcoin is an instaminer and then a magician. I don't know how people are still buying that pump and dump scam. I will never buy that coin even if someone tell me that I can win millions. In the long term, darkcoin have no future because it's based on a lie. How people can continue to trust this dishonest developer? It's incredibly easy to pump a coin when you control the great majority of the total supply.

what evilknievel doesn't know is there're not just 3 people in each mixing...not from start to end However we do need more discussions like this! Yes, I find this fascinating. Even if something could show a vulnerability, with the Darkcoin dev being here and working on it constantly, any vulnerabilities can turn into strengths, when things get fixed (if they need fixing). Can I have whatever koolaid you're drinking? What is more fascinating is that the Darkcoin dev has possibly been building upon a flawed foundation the entire time, unknowingly. This should lead you to question his capability and credibility. LOL hows holding my shadow cash bags? I dumped THOUSANDS at 40k 36k and 29k... you all will never see that again Edit: BTW the guardian recommends our anonymity http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/mar/06/tips-tricks-anonymous-privacyYes, I'm sure the Guardian is cryptographically qualified to make such an endorsement.

What funny is when DRK stays low for months, none of this came out. After the rise, there are always attempts to FUD. Whether is it true or not, these actions are always miserable.
He found a critical bitcoin bug some days back, maybe this is more than FUD The timing is very suspect. The same day DRK gets recognition from The Guardian, this claim surfaces. I bet he is trying to create an opportunity to buy in. Why does the timing matter? What matters is whether or not it is true.

We should set up a BTC donation fund for Evil-Knievel to build a Darkcoin python deanonymizer!
I pledge 1 BTC if Evil-Knievel successfully builds a Darkcoin python deanonymize.

Wow, amazing news today! The Bitnation partnership is HUGE!
Has anyone else noticed that 50 btc buy order on bittrex?

I bought a little bit of Block and am back in now, mostly to be amused when (haters) people figure out this is all real and the FUD was just FUD. New website looks great by the way.
Out of the darkness and into the light. Welcome back!

the platform itself, by way of being an incorporated company, just became a centralised corporate entity that uses decentralised technology.
That's not correct. The platform has not become an incorporated company. Is Ethereum a registered company? Yes. Is it an open source platform? Yes. So it is with the Blocknet. Let's just get this straight: *Any* legal entity can use and build upon the Blocknet. This applies to individuals or to companies. It applies equally - and in the same respect - to a legal entity called Blocknet Inc. And this in no way gives centralised control over an open source technology. How could it, given that the tech is open source? End. ok a last one. Will the tokens then turn into shares of Blocknet inc. by legal definition or will they still be just tokens. i mean they will generate the revenue. are they tied to the inc. ? They will be crypto-tokens on the HZ asset exchange. Will BLOCK holders have to turn in their BLOCK tokens to use on the HZ asset exchange? How will Block on the HZ asset exchange differ from Block being traded on exchanges like bittrex?

congrats to the new website!
Agreed, congrats! It looks amazing! "The Blocknet enables multi-blockchain services to be delivered to devices that only contain a single blockchain. Thus, device and network resources are conserved, and a flexible, mobile, indefinitely extensible future is enabled." The potential of Blocknet is limitless.

Let's get the facts straight here:
URSAY is just the troll "rdfkdji" who got burned by Jasin Lee's ASIC project and although Jasin was never part of XC's original team, by XC's mere association and acceptance of Jasin's help towards XC (temporarily), URSAY has been spending significant effort to smear Dan's name and his projects.
URSAY = rdfkdji = unicornfarts = danisdead = isdandone and several other troll accounts. If you've followed XC or Block's threads at all, these names should be immediately recognizable. And yes, they are all accounts owned by URSAY.

and the foundation is closed sourced.
Got it now, thanks.
It doesn't matter if it's open or closed, nobody cares either way... I care. Why? This thing will be dead long before it goes anywhere. The only altcoin projects that will be "dead" are the ones that get outpaced due to limited resources. Blocknet is building a platform that enables and encourages decentralized development. I know it's hard, but try to wrap your head around that and maybe you'll see why Blocknet is easily one of the best projects to hedge your portfolio with.
