I can't believe I still use Cryptsy so much Roll Eyes
I'm also a bit "twitchy", but it comes from lack of experience.  I received my 700 Dark from cryptsy after a 2 hour waite.  Sorry!

Glad you're sorted, I have had them 24 hours late before, it was the 'accounting errors' that worried me more.
And please dont keep all your coins on an exchange in case it all goes tits up like many others, use for your masternode instead!

I just withdrew 90 drk from Cryptsy as usual...

I currently have most of my Dark stored in Darkcoin Core - Wallet.  I wish I was confident enough to set up a masternode because
I have the required amount to do so.  Wondering what the best way might be.  I also have a few on paperwallets, but need to figure how to get them
out of cold storage.

Don't do what I did and put off and off setting it up. You'll work out how much you've said goodbye to and kick yourself!

What funny is when DRK stays low for months, none of this came out.
After the rise, there are always attempts to FUD. Whether is it true or not, these actions are always miserable.

He found a critical bitcoin bug some days back, maybe this is more than FUD
The timing is very suspect. The same day DRK gets recognition from The Guardian, this claim surfaces. I bet he is trying to create an opportunity to buy in.

Why does the timing matter?  What matters is whether or not it is true.

Evil-Knievel seems to be a responsible dude, after his discussion with Evan he agreed his initial claims were not correct.  It seems that his original claim came from not fully understanding how the system worked. After his conversation with Evan he believes he may be able to approach it from a different angle, so Evan invited him to try and report back.

Discussions like this are what is needed, anyway, Masternode Blinding is already on testnet and there are substantial changes to the system specially as the inputs are now random. So the conversation seems to be moot, I hope Evil-Knievel sticks for a while and tests the next version.

Yes... And you own the exclusivity on a bright mind I see!  I think you should go back to the original thread that this is all based on and see Evans remarks and answers.  If your as bright minded as you are claiming,  prove it in your actions by providing technical analysis of the discussion.  Otherwise welcome to what I'm sure will be many peoples ignore list.

This I agree in.  Problem is in the past Evil-Knievel behaved in troll and FUD behaviour on here...back several months ago.  I to hope that the discussion is about hardening what we have... And closing any potential issues if they arise.

We need this (https://medium.com/@benedictchan/building-the-world-s-first-open-source-multi-sig-bitcoin-exchange-a6f1221eff46) for Darkcoin ASAP.
Great business opportunity for somebody.

Maybe we should get this guy to add DRK to his trustless exchange project:

Great, good to know! Maybe Evil-Knievel should post his honest findings in his topic to prevent further FUD and false accusations.

Agreed. Like Evan said, "Nice try though". We should welcome these challenges, Aswan on DCT found a big one with Zombie change, and we are now stronger because of it. Darkcoin has weaknesses, like anything else, the more we find and patch the better it is for all of us.

Like Kelly Clarkson says, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

I've seen other coins (e.g. Navajocoin) do security challenges where the reward was several BTC. This could be put to good use for DRK as well, Google used to do the same for their Chrome browser.

Just my 2 cents. Smiley

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

True, a lot of haters want to see DRK fail.

Has anyone one heard of cryptostorm.is vpn? I was just on their site and noticed that they accept DRK and their seppuku pledge is interesting Smiley
