I figured it out. It's been a long time since my yacoin client has prevented other clients from starting. That was it.

Windows 7. I've got about 12 clients on this computer and all work fine. I think I'm going to get the previous version and have it download the blockchain again. edit: Hm.. this one is hanging too. I'm going to try to use the worldcoind.exe to download the chain and then run the QT when that's done.

Hard fork and the miners CAN keep their coins. Why won't you just fix this?

Hard fork and change the block times. I suspect Spots doesn't want to reset because he'd lose coins.

Block chain is almost 250 MB. If it keeps going at this rate it'll be 5.25 GB a week.

It's only been out for 2 hours an it's already at 40k blocks? Igotspots. You really should've included your nodes with the release. It could've saved the chain a lot of troubles.
