21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How and why Steem failed ? on: August 28, 2016, 01:57:44 PM
At some point, everyone was talking about it, I've even seen people in the introduction section writing how they quit their full-time jobs, etc... just to stay with Steem and now, It's pretty much gone with ~100m $ market cap while It was almost 300m $

They got some thousands $ from their introduction posts,( pretty girls mostly) and believed their income will continued like that. I haven't visited steemit recently but the last time i checked some bloggers made significant amount of $ on every post. (because they were upvoted by whales).

It's a thought committee.  Steem whales upvote the women's posting their travel blogs, thinking bumping attractive women to the top will get more men, who spend money, to come onboard.  Giving $1000s to these women per post?  It's just a marketing cost.

On the other hand , i think many people abandoned steemit for that reason. A pretty girls posting some of here photos and got thousands of $ while an interesting article with lot of research not even reached 50 $. The power of whales is one of the biggest disadvantages of the platform.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How and why Steem failed ? on: August 28, 2016, 01:52:12 PM
well... the hype is gone but that doesn't mean the death of steem. wait for the price correction, next updates and other stuff.
and anyone quitting their job and going full retard on ONE coin/investment/project deserves this "torture"(watch the price falling down).

The only way crypto will EVER go mainstream is with user friendly ideas like these...
And the Steemit "social media" thing is just a bootstrap mechanism... maybe surprises in the pipeline.

Good points , but it could have done more to keep the minnows on it. Most of them have gone away after some posts not making any $.
Also the centralization of the platform in a small group of people is not a good thing.

24  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OPAIR ICO=SCAM!! on: August 19, 2016, 08:38:10 PM
Personally I wouldn't even worry about this hurting anything/anyone except for the posters themselves .. Yep a bunch of noobs with some buthurt agenda. Speculating on what could happen before it has happened is just that ~ speculation. Evidence zero, points zero, ICO=scam in weight also zero. Thanks for trying, but not good enough  Smiley

Edit: Nothing in op is evidence of anything ~ just speculations. If you think that is evidence then have a few holes in your education ..

Isildur, thanks for you support, as we said in our last statements is a campaign designed to harm us. 90 percent of users who wrote in this thread are newbies accounts created less than a month ago. Even they are written in the same time range. They can all be the same person.

Regards

Yeah, of course all accounts are newbies...
25  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OPAIR ICO=SCAM!! on: August 18, 2016, 04:54:08 PM
@BasementRot to be honest i dont care if who is behind this coin is satoshi nakamoto, frank, wasserman, etc etc. I only care the product, just me interested this product can be developed. The person behind is only an insignificant thing for me.

And this project have everything to succeed: His features are promising, wasserman has solved all the problems that arisen very quickly, his platform works smoothly, they are starting a marketing campaign, they are offering an escrow with SebastianJu and he will release the funds by PARTS (milestones, etc), the signature campaign is running and managed by Lutpin, news coverage, chinese coverage.

At the moment i have no complaints. I really think that you are wrong but only time will tell who is right.

Good health to Opair!

You are supporting this scam on every thread possible. I want to see your reaction when you will lose all your money after the scam will be revealed .
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | Unmoderated thread on: August 18, 2016, 11:00:58 AM
I want to clarify that we never confirm that we will be listed in any exchange because that would be a lie. Those who have asked me, I just repeated the same we said in our thread on the first day:

It is too early to talk about exchanges but we want to make it clear that Opair will not have any exclusivity and our goal is to work with Bittrex, BTC38 and Poloniex to make our platform have a simultaneous release.

Who is we ? You and your two imaginary friends ? Have you proved that they are real persons?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | Unmoderated thread on: August 17, 2016, 11:40:25 AM

Frank not proving that he is real or talking to anyone is killing this ICO. No sensible founder would let their ICO suffer this much damage from something so trivial.

I regret my investment!

why didn't you a make a research before investing?
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | Unmoderated thread on: August 17, 2016, 11:34:43 AM
Kooke is wasserman's shill, maybe his alt account, or a stupid big investors cry about his investment will be shit soon.

I bet that he invested lot of $ in the scam and now is supporting it on every thread.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new coin-Alien name if possible ??? github on: August 16, 2016, 09:28:02 PM
Is it possible to create a new coin with an existing name from the other coins Huh How Github Save coin? What do you know write. Thank you for your help!

Yeah it's possible but i don't recommend doing it. But you probably don't know how to do it because you don't even know how github works.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is funny. DDoSCoin :) on: August 16, 2016, 10:12:13 AM
this is a real coin or a joke? because in some countries could be "illegal" due the local law (like an instrument to offend property...or make some damage).

Real, but is has not been launched yet.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEMBERS OF ETHEREUM TO RETURN ETC TO DAO INVESTORS PETITION on: August 16, 2016, 10:07:36 AM
Some more ETH drama and another change to make some nice money on a flip? Sign me up.

I am not sure about future events, but it seems some ETC pumpers have made good money out of the lose of some holders.

I sold all my ETC when the price was $0.5. Maybe I should sell at a higher price. But I am happy that the price should be 0, so I have made some profits.

While now the price is 1.82$ and at some point was even higher.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge future? on: August 06, 2016, 08:04:38 PM
Hi everyone .
what is your opinion about the dogecoin price in 1 year from now. is there any possible rise in this crypto?

Probably it will go down. It's has nothing innovative and new coins with lots of potential will take dogecoin place.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | ICO - 15% Bonus ends in 6 days | New Blockchain Platform on: August 05, 2016, 11:26:43 AM
Why don't you deposit the previous collected btc to the escrow ?

kooke maybe the guy who invested heavily with his all savings, just forgive him, dude.  Grin Grin

I don't see any reason this guy argue for wasserman except he is a big investor.

He also has as signature the scam coin and defends it on every thread.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MINING STEEM on: August 04, 2016, 04:57:17 PM

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC is now 3rd crypto marketcap in the world!!! on: August 02, 2016, 09:57:29 PM
but when it's discovered that the DOA exploiter was actually a member of the ETH team, that's when this experiment really fails.

Have you any link that supports this ?
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Ethereum Classic will exceed Ethereum in market cap. on: August 02, 2016, 09:37:14 PM
Looks like a great trading opportunity. Criminals and Purists are driving it up but the ultimate price should be $0 and soon.

All over ETH subreddit the firsts days was how the price of ETC will fall to 0$ but now all i see is panic !
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC is now 3rd crypto marketcap in the world!!! on: August 02, 2016, 09:33:10 PM
I hope I'm wrong but it looks like a perfect storm is brewing. BTC low, ETC high. If this remains, then ETC dump comes, followed by BTC rise again, then some people somewhere have made massive BTC profits while suckers have become ETC bagholders.

Yes , it's a possible scenario ! ETC prices keep rising while bitcoin is going down .
