21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: September 02, 2021, 04:36:06 PM
There are no specific indicators, you can constantly study charts, be an excellent analyst, but there is no single panacea for becoming a successful trader or investor.
Success is very close to luck and hard work in learning everything, so anything is still possible to happen as long as luck is on our side and the effort to keep learning never stops as long as success has not been obtained.

Luck is not the primary factor of our success trading because we need trading skills to overcome the market movements.
Just rely on luck alone won't make us a good trader, we can become a professional trader when we have skills and knowledge in trading.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many project SCAMS - PLEASE CAREFUL on: September 02, 2021, 02:00:14 PM
This is a very important warning for novice investors, because the increasing number of crypto enthusiasts to date makes it a great opportunity for rogue elements to take advantage of it to commit fraud. Learn exactly what you are going to invest in, lest the lack of research you do makes you trapped in a fraudulent project.

Yeah, scammers are always trying to find a way to steal people's money, many fraud projects has been created for that.
I think the safest way to invest on a project is through a launch pad, for example Binance launch pad. It is safer than invest in public startup projects which we don't know yet unless we conduct some intense research about it.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Staking Coins a Good Idea? on: September 01, 2021, 02:43:09 PM
Because of the energy consumption issues that arise in cryptocurrency mining, staking is often considered as an alternative. I read an article on this topic here recently, I'll leave the link https://blockster.com/blockdesk/1410_can-staking-lose-your-crypto

Indeed, mining coins with mining device is very energy-consuming such electricity and heat.
Staking is a very good alternative for people who doesn't want to spend much energy on environment.
But usually the price of PoS coins is more volatile than PoW coins.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to have a masternode on: August 31, 2021, 02:41:20 AM
I have raised money and I want to set up a masternode, because according to my research it is one of the best ways to earn passive income within the crypto world. I have also investigated about the different alt projects that have masternodes to configure, but I would like to hear from the crypto community what experiences you all have had with masternodes in order to make my choice

Top masternodes are very highly cost, you should join masternode pool if you want to spend less money.
For example, to create a DASH masternode, you need 1000 DASH coin, which worth about $200k++ per masternode.
Unless we have big amount of capital, we can't create a masternode.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins on: August 30, 2021, 01:00:04 PM
Do you hold any dead coins?

'Dead Coins refer to cryptocurrencies that have been abandoned, used as scam, their website is down, has no nodes, has wallet issues, doesn't have social updates, has low volume or developers have walked away from the project.'

How should we manage dead coins?

I have it too, dead coins are worst because you can't do anything on it. You can't send it because it has no miners to pick up your transaction.
Well, if you asked about how we should manage it, then i can't give you the right answer.
Maybe the community of the coins should unite and run the coin nodes so the coin won't be dead anymore.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic on: August 30, 2021, 04:47:00 AM
Looks like they're not freaking out, but they would've gotten a little off the top if they sold half of their assets. It's different for people who are prepared to hold back their assets to wait for a high price.

Some people were freaking out because they have huge assets on their portfolio.
The more you have, the more you loss if the price going down, even only a little bit.
To play safe, huge holders often sell their coins to cut their loss. Huge volume on sells make us think that there are some panic selling, but actually that is not panic selling.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that Bitcoin and Ethereum have a dependency with Meme Coin or vice ve on: August 29, 2021, 02:49:32 PM
no real connection about price increase of meme coins with something else, you must remember that meme coins price heavily influenced by the market psychology or mood, and also add influence of elon musk to that, then you can take conclusion what actually influence the price of meme coins, if price affected by btc or eth, maybe because the market is in bullrun and overall market is bullish, and that not only happened to meme coins, other altcoins too.

I strongly agree with your opinion, we cannot compare top coins such as bitcoin and ethereum with meme coins.
Meme coins price movement can be affected by many factors, makes it more volatile than bitcoin or other top coins.
When bitcoin price increase, we often see other top altcoins like eth, ada, doge or bnb are increase as well, but meme coins are not that often.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: August 29, 2021, 07:23:34 AM
At present the etherium gas fee has increased so much that if you want to sell a coin you cannot sell it because of this transaction fee. People have to pay so much transaction fee that it is very embarrassing.Very soon if the transaction fee of this Ethereum platform is not reduced then people will move from Ethereum platform to another platform.Below is an image of the transaction gas fee.

LOL, the transaction fee is higher than the value of the transaction itself  Grin
I thought ethereum gas fee won't be high anymore because it was low in June, here is the article : https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2021/06/28/ethereum-gas-fees-at-6-month-low-as-market-cools-layer-2-solutions-ease-congestion/
Ethereum developer should find the solution of high gas fee, so the users can use it with cheaper cost.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake token in wallet on: August 28, 2021, 02:52:22 PM
...

I also received some fake tokens sent in my wallet, for me this is very annoying because it pollutes the wallet I have. but what makes me wonder, when did the fake token enter my bsc wallet?, why is it not in the Eth wallet?

The fake token has been sent on bsc network, thats why it stored on your bsc wallet, not eth wallet.
The best thing we can do is just leave it in our wallet, don't move it unless it worth hundreds $ to sell.
I remember there is a dusting attack on bitcoin network, but i don't know if that is the same attack with this.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why such high fees in ETH? on: August 28, 2021, 05:28:17 AM
in the description I read, the ethereum network fee is determined by the miners and it is not related to the eth network itself. but from ethereum itself promises to solve this problem as soon as possible, so that consumers can feel more comfortable

Are you sure the ethereum network fee is determined by the miners ? Well i think it is the opposite.
The fee is determined by the users who want to transact in the network, by setting the gas price. ETH fee was low few months ago, it was only around 10-30 gwei, but now it is above 70 gwei.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk accidentally created a new cryptocurrency. WTF? on: August 27, 2021, 07:44:37 AM
Even if the words of Elon Musk could be bought , I believe more that his actions were his personal intention to influence the crypto market and bitcoin in particular. Nevertheless, I agree that now is the time for new and more promising projects.
Everyone understands that false rumors are being spread in the elon musk market even if he created something new it would have no effect on crypto. Bitcoin no one can control if the amount invested in this currency is high the price will go up with the exception of elon musk's project, cryptocurrencies are the best investment.

False rumor have been spread because Elon often tweet about cryptocurrency, and the price get affected after his tweet.
Many said that Elon is manipulating the price of the coins with his tweet, but it is not 100% true.
Some people may take the advantages of Elon's tweet and manipulating the market.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kid already making $32k monthly through ethtereum on: August 26, 2021, 05:25:58 PM
You need 32 ETH to stake in Ethereum. That's a fact. That's $100,000 capital.

Even if you make 12k a year from staking max staking returns, you need 32 times that? So these kids have 3.2 million? If this is pure mining, it's still nonsense because someone pays the bills and runs the machines. Kids go to school:)

This is the most plausible reply i found on this thread, how come the kids making $32k monthly ?
As a miner, i have some knowledge about mining. If they can make 32k monthly, then how many cards are currently being used?
The more they generate the coin, the more the cost they need for the capital and the electricity bill.
See this mining calculator if we want to calculate how much the equipment cost if we want to get 32k income monthly : https://www.coinwarz.com/mining/ethereum/calculator

The news (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/14-9-years-old-making-165453877.html) is not make sense as well because usually miners are mining ETH with ASICs nowadays, while the kids are mining with the graphic cards and making $32k / month.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH adoption lately is high on: August 26, 2021, 05:02:26 PM
...

I don’t think that it is possible for Ethereum to have fees similar to Binance Smart Chain while it is working on Proof-Of-Work. Actually, I strongly believe that transaction fees will be lower when it is switched to Proof-Of-Stake. But I don’t think that Ethereum is likely to be as cheap as Binance or Polygon one day. Personally I prefer using BSC in any case. Moreover, there is a big ecosystem as well.

I think the transaction fee won't be lower even if it switched to proof of stake.
As long as there are some platforms that continuously using high gas fee with high transaction volume, the fee will stay high,
and we must using high gas fee as well so our transaction will be picked up on the network.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto hype over? on: August 26, 2021, 03:23:53 PM
Innovation is far from over and adoption is further. So there are still huge and plenty of room for the crypto space. All we have to do is wait for regulations and ironing out the rogue operators of cryptocurrency, then my speculation is beyond DeFis and NFTs , we are starting to realize how powerful blockchain technology can be.

At least we know that there were some innovations in cryptocurrency like DeFi, and im sure there will be another innovations in the future as well.
If the innovation is good enough, it will create massive adoption which can lead to the profit because the demand will increase.
The success in crypto comes from the innovations and adoptions of the coins.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: top holders on: August 26, 2021, 02:56:57 PM
When finding a new coin, should the percentage the top holders earn influence your decision to buy in. for example if the top holders own > 50% ?

Of course mate, the percentage of the coin holders is matters. We should be careful with the coin that have big % owned by the owner.
Thats why we should understand the coinomics / tokenomics of the coin we want to buy, it will surely affect the price in the future.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really that hard to make ethereum faster and cheaper? on: August 26, 2021, 02:28:24 PM
Move to EOS, you will experience a cheaper (almost free) and faster network. You only need to pay some fee (buying ram) to create the wallet. Its a little bit complicated but a worth thing to do.

EOS is faster and cheaper than ETH indeed, but the price of EOS is still not surpass its ATH until now.
Im afraid if we buy EOS, the value will stay the same even in few years from now.
People in crypto often search for coin that have some volatility and growing value from time to time.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: August 26, 2021, 02:06:38 PM
A portion of my tokens are useless in light of my drawn out holding of tokens in my wallet because of expecting a greater cost in the future.Long expression hold and momentary hold are two diverse procedure however you can generally change your system as indicated by the situation.looking for data prior to purchasing a coin,Now about planning by and large, really it makes a difference just in new activities subsequently purchasing early will give higher freedom to hold and sell when in Profit.

Me too, i think it is useless to hold the tokens for long time if the token itself is a trash token/shit token.
We should know whether the project is good enough for us to hold their token in our wallet, otherwise the token will become the decoration only in our wallet. So, the timing to holding is important, but the more important is the quality of the project.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: August 26, 2021, 01:53:56 PM
Staking is one of the features cryptocurrency that is what people attracted to. Traditional finance cannot even offer such. So definitely I would recommend staking. Staking keeps the network secure while as a user the staked asset can grow over time.

Many people get attracted into staking because it doesn't need mining devices like PoW coins such bitcoin or dogecoin.
When we mining with mining devices, we must have some knowledge to setup the mining equipment so the miner can run.
But in staking, we just need to buy the coin and have a little knowledge to stake it.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This bull makes all alts will make new all time highs on: August 26, 2021, 01:35:02 PM
previously BTC had broken through $60k and after that it fell back 50% from the highest price ever reached. BTC has the highest rating and highest volume. is currently slowly rising again and has broken through $50k, an uptrend like this is triggering the altcoin to increase. but to hold altcoins currently depends on which coin is owned. do your research well, the uptrend that occurs in bitcoin can experience a correction. If I own an altcoin and have already got a profit target I choose to sell it because the market is very unpredictable with certainty.
Should sell a part when you already have a profit. A lot people believe bitcoin will hit a new all-time high later this year, myself included. But it's all just speculation. It crash at any time

Indeed, it is ok to sell some of the portion of our portfolio as long we sell it on profit, not loss.
There will always some correction after bullish market, that is the best time to add our portfolio with more good coins, and bitcoin is a must have coin in our investment portfolio.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is coin or token burning? on: August 25, 2021, 02:38:36 PM
Coin burning does not always results in price appreciation if the fundermental factors that influence and assure the viability and longevity of such coin is not taking care of! There must be value creation,  problem solving,  and adoption (utility) before burning effect could be felt!

I am agree with your opinion. By my experience, i understand that coin burning alone won't make the price higher than before.
We can see for example BNB coin : the price of BNB in the 15th burn was better in than the prev burn, this proved the burn event doesn't always make the price increase. Value creation , problem solving and adoption, those you mentioned above are good and of course they are better than burn.
