22  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Amagi Metals - Best Prices of Gold & Silver for Bitcoins on: August 05, 2013, 02:37:20 PM
if we're talking silver maples then its $5 face value, $2500 for the box.
23  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Fenix. Hashing from the ashes of Bakewell. on: August 05, 2013, 04:24:45 AM
Fenix will be listed on BitFunder and trading will begin on Monday.

But when on Monday?  Midnight?  Dawn?  Tea time?  4:20??!

What time zone?  Daylight savings or GMT or Sidereal?!

Clarification would be nice, or I'm gonna be checking while driving down the highway all day.

2 factor can be accomplished with a landline, you get a recording with the code to enter.

If you haven't noticed, we have the best prices for American Silver Eagle's on the web!

http://www.amagimetals.com/american-silver-eagle.html

You do not. They're cheaper here.

I like competitive open markets (in all things, not just Bullion); but as of time of post:

https://agoracommodities.com/product/silver-american-eagle/

Silver American Eagle - $23.88 - Delayed 4 weeks [no mint year mentioned]

http://www.amagimetals.com/american-silver-eagle.html

1 Oz 2013 American Silver Eagle Coin - $24.09 [+0.21] - Availability: In stock - Shipping Immediately [2013]

I'll leave the postage comparison up to others (I've never used their services and have no reason to change that atm.); however as Amagi Metals actually have the product on hand I'd say they are the cheapest on the Internet.

EDIT:
https://agoracommodities.com/shipping-information/

"The standard shipping charge is $17 for orders below $5,000."

More than postage from Amagi Metals (around USD$10 USPS International Letter option) so adding postage Amagi Metals is actually cheaper.

Agora is still cheaper. If you check their thread on this forum you'll see that their shipping is $5.60, they just haven't updated their website.

PS - nobody mentioned shipping. The claim was that Amagi has the cheapest silver eagles. They don't.

I don't count out of stock items when comparing prices..... Neither does any sort of price match pricing system employed by any large retail/chain stores. You want to compare prices, they have the be the same item, and in stock.
27  Economy / Lending / Re: 3 bitcoin loan , paid back 4.5 coins in 10 days. on: July 12, 2013, 03:17:50 AM
Yeah, fuck this. This guy reeks of a scammer. Especially that first link where he "gives back" the 1.0 BTC. Try again, bro... we've been around long enough to have seen that one before.

That actually happened, but i'm not gonna twist your arm to believe him.

However the acceleration of the loan requests and their growth in size has also made me more cautious.....

Something for nothing, doesn't that sum up a lot of people.

Have a constructive signature, inform people of bitcoin businesses that they can spend btc at and further its use as a currency in the digital economy. If you choose to purchase precious metals for instance, the link in my signature is a quite well respected and well reviewed company.
29  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 bitcoin loan %50 pay back in a week on: July 07, 2013, 04:21:52 PM
Well I was too late, for both the loan and the in-game purchase. All BTC repaid.

I've been buying in-game currency from TT for a couple weeks now. When in game mechanics prevented this he had no problem refunding me, and we continue to do business.

I've built up trust with him, so its not 1btc thrown away for me (yet).

Got my 2nd order last Friday, happy with the packaging and shipment time (once delayed inventory became in stock)
Also happy to be buying from a brick and mortar store and not just a drop-shipper Smiley

What sort of shipping and insurance options would you offer, and to where?
35  Economy / Gambling / Home Lotto on: June 18, 2013, 01:16:40 AM
Would there be any interest in combining funds to buy tickets for a home lotto that benefits a local children's hospital? I asked about this in another sub-forum last year and got no response, I guess it does fit in more with "gambling".

Pool BTC, convert to $, buy tickets. Winnings (prizes) sold and profits split among group.

Prizes include a $1m+ house, many cars, vacations and a bunch of little prizes https://www.homelotto.com/#prizes

The large packs where its cheaper per ticket are first to sell out, currently whole thing is 55% sold. I'm probably going to buy some tickets anyways, looking to increase the chances with more people involved.

36  Economy / Goods / Re: [[NEW]] - Physical Bitcoins - Only 0.2BTC - WorldWide Shipping! on: June 15, 2013, 01:48:19 AM
What are the dimensions of the coin, and whats the size of the open area on the back? Or did you make them with Cassicus's holograms in mind? No offence but he's got the track record and reputation that I would trust my holograms to, think he even offered a make your own kit.
But Dang your coin looks awesome.
37  Economy / Marketplace / Re: WTS 71 Gh/s Avalon Unit in hand - overnight shipping on: June 15, 2013, 01:26:43 AM
what? 105btc back on a 250btc investment over a whole year isn't good? Smiley

I bet OP will say 105 back is great cuz you still have a 250btc machine, so you're at 355btc worth of hardware/btc, haha meanwhile he's trying to lock in a solid 2.5x profit on his hardware alone not counting what he's already made.

You know OP is a master interneter, he couldn't even find the proper sub-forum for his COMPUTER HARDWARE FOR SALE--->https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0

Buy low, sell high.

This man speaks the truth!
39  Economy / Securities / Re: [BAKEWELL] Action Proposal - Call for Volunteers on: June 10, 2013, 06:04:30 AM
If any Bakewell owners are looking to move on, I might be willing to pickup your shares. Not trying to be opportunistic, so if you are considering selling please be aware of the most recent developments and make an informed decision. (owners of record on bitfunder can get info from Strello, our communications volunteer)

Willing to pay above current frozen price, obviously not going as high as pre-disappearance but message me with offers.

Ian, is that you?   Cheesy

Nope, and my offer is now limited to small volumes.... if anyone is interested.
40  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying gold with bitcoins on: June 09, 2013, 07:20:05 PM
I would be highly interested in hearing some people's experiences with Amagi Metals

I ordered a few items that were on backorder (physical silver is hard to come by if you are stuck on certain pieces, if you're willing to take anything there's usually something available) Everything arrived well packaged fairly quickly after being shipped (international)

Currently have my 2nd order in with them, again something that was backordered. Has since been shipped and I hope to get it in a week or two.
