21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ferrum Network | BITMAX | DAG Interoperability Network | DeFi Apps on: July 15, 2020, 04:51:55 PM
At the moment, Ferrum Network is one of the few projects that can be called "hidden diamond". I think Ferrum will be in the TOP-200 in the fall if they continue to actively market.

What I love the best about their project is the wallet unifyre and the feature link drop. I usually have to send multiple transactions daily and that where link drop comes really handy it saves a lot of time.
22  Other / Meta / Re: Phishing e-mail on: July 12, 2020, 06:48:16 PM
This is the first time I am seeing a phishing attack on someone's bitcointalk account. It's because of attempts like this I never open a link that out of sudden asks to change password or change email.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Best Cryptocurrency to buy in 2020 on: July 12, 2020, 06:36:05 PM
If some newbie asks me which crypto to invest in than I would always suggest them to invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum because those two cryptos will help us with an easy transition into the crypto world and teach us how the crypto market works.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Doubt] Pending Ethereum transaction on: July 11, 2020, 06:50:27 PM
If he not in hurry then he can wait out for the transaction to get failed but do note sometimes it takes really long for a transaction to be dropped. From the screenshot, I can see he used metamask he can easily cancel or speed up the transaction using metamask. Just click on the transaction number and he will see the option to speed up the transaction or cancel it.
25  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Useful tips I've learned so far, might come in handy on: July 10, 2020, 04:10:31 PM
1. Nothing is certain in crypto space
2. Learning is the easiest way to get by
3. Analysis is the best tool for more knowledge
4. Don't hold new altcoins and stay offline, they need close watch
5. Diversify your money, do not rely on few altcoins and don't have too many, watching them will be an headache
6. If you are new and in rush to see how crypto works start with Bitcoin and Ethereum.
7. Take profit when you see one, don't be too greedy

One more tip I would like to be on that list is to not trade crypto emotionally because if you trade emotionally then you are bound to get rekt. Knowing when to get out of a trade is the best way to manage risk.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Both PoW and PoS algos are scams. Here's why. on: July 09, 2020, 06:23:44 PM
The Proof-of-Work algorithm and the Proof-of-Stake algorithms are scams. Proof-of-Work algorithm actually costs more than it makes. This is why every single Proof-of-Work algorithm crypto has to be supported with FIAT money, which honestly speaking makes them all hybrid PoW/PoS. Proof-of-Stake is a scam because it's just money backed with money.

Mining top coins are not that cost-effective but mining a coin early which we believe will have a great future is a whole different game.
but in case of PoS you need money to make money.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin tiktok challenge Hype. on: July 08, 2020, 05:35:21 PM
Lol, it's kinda impossible for DOGE to reach $1 I would be really surprised if DOGE even breaks it old ATH. Once FOMO dies off we can expect a major dump in DOGE coin. DOGE is a really good coin if you buy them at the bottom (~20-30 sats) IMO .
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forsage could be the reason why Ethereum gas fees are ridiculously high! on: July 06, 2020, 06:51:06 PM
The network is extremely congested for the past few weeks because of that we are seeing really high gas price. Unless ethereum decides to make their network more scalable we will have to suffer from high gas fees at least until they launch ETH 2.0 which have no clear launch date yet.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COMP and pump and dump? on: July 06, 2020, 06:32:29 PM
I think FOMO hit really hard on COMP that's the reason we saw a crazy hight price on COMP and now we are in the correction phase and I think that it will even dip below 150 at least for now that's my entry target.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion about DMG? on: July 05, 2020, 06:33:02 PM
DMG = DeFi Money Market Governance Token.

- Simple ERC20 token backed by Tim Draper.
- USP is similar to MKR/COMP/BAL. Claiming to be lending to real world assets for interest generation.
- Trading on UniSwap.Exchange and many other Decentralized On Chain exchanges.

Details @ https://DeFiMoneyMarket.com/

Tracking @ https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/dmm-governance

Right now DMG is a hot DeFi project and I have seen a lot of people promoting DMG on twitter. So far the project looks genuine hence I invested a few bucks when the price was around $1.25
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about Bitcoin Diamond (BCD). on: July 04, 2020, 07:04:03 PM
Because of the upcoming halving event I bought few coins for a midterm hold in the hope that as the halving day comes closer we might see some good price movement but other than that I have never used or held BCD.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: July 03, 2020, 07:54:43 PM
Cardano partners with Coinbase to allow users to store and stake ADA

Users of Cardano's cryotocurrency, ADA, will be able to store their funds, without compromising their ability to participate in the network.

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ferrum Network | BITMAX | DAG Interoperability Network | DeFi Apps on: July 02, 2020, 07:11:25 PM

What is the current staking rate they are offering? Say if decide to stake a certain amount will I still have control of my funds and can withdraw anytime i want from the platform?

No staking options available right now, last staking round is round2.  Few months ago.
Articel about FRM Staking:
https://medium.com/ferrumnetwork/ferrum-network-frm-staking-overview-b8b8544f603b

But you can get other benefits just by holding FRM on your Unifyre wallet
There are 3 levels of FRM UniFyre holders each with their own benefits.
https://medium.com/ferrumnetwork/unifyre-wallet-community-benefits-ee0330a45bdc

Guess I will have to wait for the third round of the staking then because right now all those 3 tiers of UniFyre holding criteria is way out of my league. There is no reward for holding around ~10k tokens right?
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ferrum Network | BITMAX | DAG Interoperability Network | DeFi Apps on: July 01, 2020, 07:48:28 PM
Whether we can stake the FRM, in UniFyre wallet?

Previous rounds (Round 1 and Round 2) are closed.
They will open up another round in UniFyre Wallet in the nearish future.
Staking 3.0 is coming soon, instruction will be published with staking 3.0 launch.
Stay tuned

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eBTC | The New (ERC20) Bitcoin on: March 02, 2018, 06:10:53 AM

Another great news from the eBTC team. Today we are seeing a pretty good rise in price maybe cause of that news.

Dent price is going down little by little just today only. Is there any update on what happened to the dent team on mobile world congress? Hope we will get good news from them.

No update so far. MWC 2018 should end today so I guess we can expect the news about the conference in next 3-5 days.
