21  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is it useful to borrow bitcoin? on: June 28, 2016, 08:16:09 PM
IT is verry useful to borrow bitcoins right now because the price of the bitcoin is great to buy them now because i know for sure
That the price of the bitcoin will rise allot at the end of this year so if you want to borrow some do it Now.

I would say borrowing today is not recommended because the price of bitcoin is going to increase. And it is only useful if you are going to task a risk and you really need it for your investment or emergency needs.

What is the connection of price of bitcoin today if a person wants to borrow. For profits? Can't understand why people borrowing coins just to make profit from it. Didn't they know that if they borrow in bitcoin, they must to pay it in bitcoin. So it's 1:1 regardless of what the bitcoin price is.
Going through all of these replies, this one made the most sense to me. It seems as thoug signature spammers are just posting here to get paid.

On topic, I think it's best to borrow Bitcoin when the price is high. To make things fair, it is best if bitcoins were loaned with a 1:1 ratio; no comparisons to the USD. That was the question I asked all those months ago and in my opinion, when there is a dump, then is a time to borrow Bitcoin. Convert to fiat, then use the profit to pay back the debt several months later.
22  Other / Meta / Re: Useless thread, possibly made by a bot to gain activity, your thoughts? on: June 28, 2016, 07:16:21 PM
i just wanted to point out that it's almost impossible to participate in a constructive manner to threads like this. if the who thread is off topic spam, there is little context to reply to. I would think CAPtCHAs would be enough to stop the spam, but as pointed out earlier this is probably not a bot but an account farmer. As difficult as the situation is, (at the moment at least) there isn't much that can be done. it is getting harder and harder to post on-topic, sensical  posts, especially when the topics being created is spam to begin with.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good idea to buy bitcoins now? on: June 28, 2016, 01:17:47 PM
Well for now I think it is not a good idea to buy bitcoin. Its price is high now wait for a good price. If you have some now then hold it and maybe it will rise more.
I disagree. To be able to make a big profit before halving, you need to buy now because we all know that the price will continue to rise until we had reached the event we are waiting, so don't miss the chance to gain a huge profit.

Its not guaranteed that price will be higher at halving, as price is not moving up with a good pace, its stuck to $650-660 range, so buying at this price will be risky if price doesn't go higher at halving.
There are indeed no guarantees when it comes to Bitcoin but the great thing about Bitcoin is that it will gain more and more popularity throughout the years.

Maybe that the price won't increase much this year from the price today but I am quite sure that it will do so next year and the years after that as we progress through the years. Patience is needed.

Majority of people lack patience and last week when it touched to $780 it gave an additional hope to the people that $1k is easily possible now, but price started to go back again, so not sure what will be the price at halving.
Yeah many users don't have some patience to just hold their coins and it result for them to sell and affect the price to fall down up to $650 per bitcoin so for me it will take more time for bitcoin to reach $1k price because as you said many people have lack of patience but let see this year if the price will reach up to that Grin.
Yes this is true. Some people are inpatient. Bitcoin was at $1000 CAD a weak ago and now it's at $800. I generally use Bitcoin as currency, but i bought $20 worth of bitcoin due to halving t=and the expected price increase. It may or may not be caused by all the hype surrounding halving, but that hyoe is certainly affecting the price.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we find Bitcoin wallet? on: June 28, 2016, 01:05:28 PM
Off course you can find bitcoin wallets on the whole internet there are allot of bitcoin wallets you can use for hollding your coins. So if you want to use a bitcoin wallet you only need to look
at the best recommended wallet online.
I guess you're not reading even a single word from OP's question,OP questioning whether wallet can be identified from an addres NOT how to create a wallet, try to read before replying my buddy

Many people like to rush through reading the thread and post their stupid answers. They need sig campaign money.

On topic, if all you have is a user's Bitcoin address, you won't be able to find out what wallet the address belongs to. It isn't recommended using online wallets (though some of them have nice features) because online wallets are easy to hack. it's best in my opinion to use a desktop based wallet and find someone on locaslbitcoin.com (or the currency exchange subsection) to buy Bitcoin with cash and vice versa.
25  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: June 27, 2016, 02:55:18 PM
I mostly use my Bitcoins as both an investment and as cash, but mostly I get paid in bitcoin and usually sell my bitcoin straight away. When the price of Bitcoin is rising however, i prefer to hold onto my bitcoin and sell when the price is high. When it peaks, I sell and end up with a bit of money.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: June 26, 2016, 09:56:52 PM
I usually don't buy Bitcoin but accept it as payment. Today, however, I bought Bitcoin because it's price is going to go up at halving time and the price is right to buy in now. I trade Bitcoin for Canadian Dollar with another member of this forum, but because of the launch to the moon is expected to happen soon, I bought $20 worth of Bitcoin rather than trying to earn it by doing programming tasks or posting on the forum (via my signature campaign).
27  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A Faucet Bot on: June 26, 2016, 09:23:18 PM
I tried to make a faucet bot myself but got really frustrated trying to solve reCaptcha V2 programmatically. i eventually gave up. How were you able to get around it? i gave up after screwing around with fiddler, and not getting anywhere.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halvening 99% ready, rocket only 2 weeks to go before moon launch!! on: June 26, 2016, 09:10:38 PM
The halving is already well calculated into the current price. It's actually quite overhyped because of it.

It doesn't matter. There is a huge hype around the actual date, and also we will have segwit soon and more new stuff. We are only going up.

You seriously believe that segwit crap? We've been promised a solution for years, it never happened and development has never been as dead as it is now.
after doing a quick Google search, I got a website explaining segwit. I think it's a good idea, and it's implementation I think will definitely improve bitcoin's price. Now is the time to buy Bitcoin. I have a good feeling about Bitcoin going to the moon.
29  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: June 26, 2016, 12:48:00 AM
i think i dont want to receive my salary in BTC olso my boss doesnt want to pay with Btc too why because bitcoin price is so changing in this term and i dont want to less salary because of bitcoin prise can be down when my salary time come i prefer to get my salary with dollars and if i want to get bitcoin for investment i can buy it with dollar when bitcoin price can be cheap .

Bitcoin always has the potential to go up in value. if I were you I would invest 50% of my cheque to Bitcoin. Halving is coming soon and anyone who is participating in the Bitcoin economy is going to get rich. If I were you i would be looking at the current price of Bitcoin and make an investment one way or the other, weather it's making your online business, or simply buying Bitcoin to trade later.
30  Economy / Services / Re: [For Hire] ★ Experienced webpage designer (HTML/CSS/JS) and Python programmer ★ on: June 21, 2016, 10:18:49 PM
I will validate you as an experienced coder. I have writtemn computer code since I was ten (but I took a break form it between the years 2009-2015. You sure have to keep up in order to be hired.

Send me a PM and we can exchange contact info. You might be useful. Have yuou heard of Laravel? It's like codeignitor or cakePHP. Somebody recommen ded to me over cake, and in my opinion, Laravel is better.
31  Other / Meta / Re: [suggestion] [programming forum. on: June 20, 2016, 08:20:10 PM
I think the programming tasks are not enough to fill a separate (sub)section. These days we have a lot of programming-related threads on the first pages (of the services section) because user Mexicantrader has been bumping old threads with a generic answer (question: What is the max time since last posting to consider a bump valid and not spam here on BCT?).

Now, I think the suggestion by itself is great, but if the admins have not considered creating a sub-forum for signature campaigns (which, let's be honest, make at least half the services section active threads), I do not think they will set a "programming" section. Maybe services could have a few subsections like programming, writting / translating, Signature campaigns and paid sign-ups (which I think currently constitute at least 80% of the content of the services section).

If such a section is created, I would like to suggest to add a cold down for posting. Again, user Mexicantrader has been posting on every programming-related thread, I do not think he is skilled in every single programming language / style nor has he the time to work on every job he has "applied" to.
It would go beyond a jobs forum. It would be a community of good-intended programmers to help each other. This would make programming discussions less competitive (and less stressful) because after all, some users are not here for the money.

I don't think signature campaigns have not been given their own subforum because signature campaigns attract  a lot of spam. Programmers all over the internet have helped me, and most of the time, I get an answer and I gain more experience. There is no experience to gain from sig campaigns.
32  Other / Meta / [suggestion] [programming forum. on: June 20, 2016, 07:15:52 PM
I am 100% certain there are hundreds of programmers looking for jobs on this forum. The forum will discuss bitcoin related programming as well as answer questions about coding. Many computer-related forums generally have a section like this. It would also stimulate co-operation amongst Bitcoin coders (it seems quite competitive at the moment).

Thoughts?
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to sell? on: June 20, 2016, 02:15:37 AM
I would say the the increase in bitcoin's price to nearly $1000 may make it convenient to sell for those who bought in a few months ago. i am one of those people, howeber, who does not regard the price of Bitcoin. I consider bitcoin money, and since I have no real job in the real world, I will trade whatever I have for cash quickly. If you have money to invest, I would say invest in Bitcoin now before halving next month. I am sure the price will increase above $1000 USD before then.
34  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coaltin - scam me for PayPal Account on: June 19, 2016, 05:05:12 PM
Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to get your coinsd back. Paypal looks down on people who buy accounts with Bitcoin. You could try disputing the transaction, but as I said PP seldom reverses Bitcoin trades.
35  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Pharmacist giving false negative trust on: June 19, 2016, 04:39:49 PM
Account selling may be allowed here, but people have the right to leave negative trust for whatever reason. Your account was not worth what you were asking for. As pointed out by Your point is invalid, you could have defaulted on your loan and buy a new account. in addition, your posts were of bad quality; it wasn't worth anything.

I would have negative trusted you as well if I saw what you were trying to do.

EDiT: it looks like you initially tried to get $15 instead of $5.50 and then lied about it and act asll innocent. Definitely not trustworthy
[/b]

Just seen this and that was never true that I tried to request $15 first.  I actually pmd the person who said that and they apologised and went back and deleted what they said which is why the post I quoted is no longer there.
Liar liar pants on fire. quit editing your posts. do you have the PMs? I clearly remember someoine quiting you asking for $15.

OP spammed by inbox demanding i delete my post. quite bluntly, i told him to "fuck off".

Why do you keep lying? I already directed to the post of the person who admitted mistakenly saying $15 instead of .015.     https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1479137.msg14910280#msg14910280

The poster you linked to is in the red by 64 points. Why should i trust his word? i'll remove my negative trust in a few months as long as you try not to scam people or buy/sell accounts.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: June 19, 2016, 04:34:34 PM
Only in that case when we play on dice site than there is chance to get busted, only big whales can win in long run as they have very large bankroll, but in sportsbook and poker we have totally different method and people can make good profit in long run.
Yeah your right its hard to make a large profit in dice if you just deposit a small amount and yeah if you have a high bank roll most them can make a profit.. but sometimes they are endup losing because they are greedy..

Yeah .that's the way to earn big profit on dice especially rolling the amount of bet price after a loss ,i experience on that game about 23 stake lost .then yes grediness makes all profit or left money loss all. It should be stop for a moment ,relax and think that thr better way to control .

You could win in dice but that is just temporary unless you will completely stop after winning. Remember that the house has the advantage and regardless of your method you will lose in the long run unless you know how to cheat the house.
This is true, but this applies to all forms of gambling, not just dice. Still with dice, you can place a BTC1 bet and still have a chance of losing. If you take a look at the math used on those sites, you only win a percentage of the bet, and if you loose, you loose 100% of the staked coins.
37  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting to unban me on: June 15, 2016, 03:37:43 AM
Well im asking to be unbanned i had learned a lesson here and i would like to return.
I havent damage no one ,i made spam posts and im sorry for that, would like to get my accounts back .
Waiting a position from admin, soo if you arent admin kindly stay away and respect my space.

Badbear sorry for any confusing and problem i machromey had caused, kindly review my ban and if possible let me return with my accounts.
If you were spamming in different threads then yes you are going to get banned. A lot of people post garbage on this forum just to get paid more. As stated before, it's unlikely your ban will be lifted. Signature campaign spamming is a HUGE problem on this forum (I can't count the number of incomprehensible posts I see here). You may just have to move on.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: June 15, 2016, 01:16:29 AM
I have long understood that losing always comes with the territory when you wander into the gambling business, just as getting crippled for life is an acceptable risk in the linebacker business. They both are extremely violent sports, and pain is part of the bargain. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Definitely in real life or virtual way of gambling, everyone will just lose in the long run. I don't know why still people are getting addicted into gambling
even they are experiencing losing and bad things about bitcoin. Or they just want to get the returns of their bets.
But instead of getting back their loses, what happens is that they are keep on losing.

Problem gambling is a new diagnosis in the latest version of the DSM. People keep coming back to gambling because there is something different in the way their brains are wired. People go into a trace-like state when they bet money on a slot machine. All of this sstuff has been proven scientifically.
39  Other / Meta / Re: Am I the only one seeing this? on: June 15, 2016, 12:37:45 AM
I'm currently using a mac and I am only seeing yellow stars with one that looks cut off. I think Theymos only disallowed annoying characters in subject threads. Zazarb is trustworthy, so I wouldn't worry about him.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: June 15, 2016, 12:06:07 AM
I think that nowdays is not the best time to buy bitcoins cause price is around $700 and better to wait when price will majorly drop, but i not gonna buy bitcoins soon.

Yes I think it is not also the right time for buying it and if you are going to wait for it to drop it's price there is no assurance and we don't know if it is going to drop down it's price.
And we don't know when it is going to fall down it's price again.

I personally don't think the price of Bitcoin is going to drop drastically in the near future. If you have money to invest into Bitcoin I would say go for it. I don't think the price is going nto drop anytime soon because halving is next month. also, some Bitcoin-related businesses are making price changes. Bitcoin's value is going to be pretty high for a while now.
