This is a false rumor. There will be no announcements from the Digibyte Foundation before the end of the year. it is written down on their webpages... "The DigiByte Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the DigiByte global blockchain through three primary pillars of education, outreach, and development. The foundation is expected to be established by the end of 2017." Link: https://www.digibyte.io/digibyte-roadmapend of years not mean dec 31 foundation already launch months ago (end of years 2017)

Hey gyus! The mining calculator fro DGB shows very good numbers if mining with Qubit algo. Was Qubit DGB mining always much more profitable then SHA-256?

The thing is DGB still has the problem of scaling. We don't know how the network will behave upon big adoption, or network attacks.
For now, DGB is the best coin for commerce.
what is digibyte scaling problem? DigiByte has introduced special code that doubles block size every two years to scale the amount of transactions the network can handle well into the year 2035. Additonal work is underway to further increase transaction speed and network capacity. Year 2016: 280 Transactions Per Second Year 2017: 560 Transactions Per Second Year 2019: 1,120 Transactions Per Second Year 2021: 2,240 Transactions Per Second Year 2035: 280,000+ Transactions Per Second are you find another crypto like this code? without add forks, digibyte has ability since beginning is network attack? dont you find many time share about this? DigiByte on one of five seperate mining algorithms. Each algo averages out to mine 20% of new blocks. This allows for much greater decentraliztion than other blockchains. In order for an attacker to hardfork DigiByte the attacker would need to control 93% of the hashrate on 1 algo, and 51% of the other 4 making DigiByte much more secure against PoW attacks than other blockchains. so, what is digibyte problem?

A UTXO is an unspent transaction output. In an accepted transaction in a valid blockchain payment system (such as Bitcoin, Bcash, Litecoin, Digibyte), only unspent outputs can be used as inputs to a transaction. When a transaction takes place, inputs are deleted and outputs are created as new UTXOs that may then be consumed in future transactions. In the Bitcoin network, which uses this model, a UTXO is the amount that is transferred to a Bitcoin address (along with information required to unlock the output amount*) during a transaction. Received amounts (UTXOs) are used individually during a transaction and new outputs are created – one for the receiver and, if applicable, one for the amount that is left over (change output). The amount sent to the recipient becomes a new UTXO in the recipient’s address while the change output becomes a new UTXO in the sender’s address that may be used in a future transaction. I see you are the only one who does not complain about the price but thinks about the future and I like the way you say it because i know what i do and what coin i follow, im not long with digibyte try trade nov 2014 with zero knowledge, and find bitcointalk on may 2015, try to find out what is this coin, what dev will be doing, is promise delivery or not, that is reason im positive about digibyte future. as long as bitcoin stroong from USD that is good, because digibyte wil do correction price after bullrun

Expect a dump? Charting 101. You'll lose the train buddy.
The gain was from the Citi/Minecraft hype. It wasn't based on any hard data. I would be very careful trying to analyze a chart that was the result of user-enabled hype. I like DGB, I think its a good coin, but it needs to be analyzed during a period of "business as usual", not a possible anomaly. That's like saying BTC chart from 2013 to 2014 doesn't mean anything. Detach yourself from relating charts to news events only or you'll never buy low with this mindset. Usually when a coin goes up dramatically in value, it is from a news event, right? New masternode system or new partnership. Usually those things are confirmed after implementation. The rise from DGB was speculative based on news they were in a competition and rumor that they had a Minecraft deal with Microsoft. You have to follow the news first, then guage sentiment. rumor microsoft? minecraft? are sure with your words?

Hopefully Digibyte will be added to coinbase next year. Supposedly coinbase confirmed they will add a few more altcoins and I know the PR people at Digibyte have been requesting to be added for a long while now. A direct dgb to usd market would do wonders for our marketcap.
we know, coinbase cant add ico/ token because The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission https://www.sec.gov/news/public-statement/statement-clayton-2017-12-11

Undoubtedly it will cost next year more than $ 1, I have a network of insider information from developers that DGB will cost more than $ 20 next year!
DGB is on fire today Is 10$ per coin possible for dgb? Comments like this are why I'm a bagholder ffs. Delusional newbies that don't have a clue. You do know that the supply of digibyte is 21 billion right? You think it's going to be worth more than all of the top 14 currencies excluding Bitcoin? That's beyond delusional. I'm all for it, but I don't see that ever happening. do you forget 21 billion is ready in 2035? today is 2017 hahaha

Opened my DGB wallet after two weeks and now I need to do a synch that apparently takes two weeks to complete... Did I miss something? Is there a bootstrap that would fix this extra synch? The estimated time left isn't accurate in all cases. It should go much much faster. It seems frozen, so I'll just empty my roaming folder (except wallet.dat of course) and do a resynch. give the time, your wallet didnt connect with network, make sure your internet has good connection

DGB looking like a long term solid investment! Right now we re in the middle of what looks to be a good rally! Some would tempted to sell high BUT, this should lead to higher highs and higher lows. Good news to me, since I bought at about 1 cent!
this week dev will show off demo DigiID, An innovative platform to use the DigiByte Blockchain for authentication. A replacement for passwords and 2FA. Can you give more info about this? Where can we see the demo? It sounds awesome this like creating an identity on the blockchain, making it easier to manage for individuals, giving them greater control over who has their personal information and how they access it. By combining the decentralized blockchain principle with identity verification, a digital ID can be created that would act as a digital watermark which can be assigned to every online transaction. The solution can help the government/organizations/store to check the identity on every transaction in real time, hence, eliminating rate of fraud. Consumers will be able to login and verify payments without having to enter any of the traditional username and password information. Through blockchain solutions, consumers can simply use an app for authentication instead of using traditional methods, such as a username and password. The solution will store their encrypted identity, allowing them to share their data with companies and manage it on their own terms. so what is different with Google Authenticator or SMS two-factor authentication? Google Authenticator or SMS two-factor authentication are commonly-used tools doesn’t make them the most secure solutions either. Granted, for the everyday consumer, these are two of the most user-friendly forms of authentication they have access to. However, both of these authentication tools rely on a third-party provider, which may not be the best course of action. With mobile software threats on the rise and malware being able to log all types of conversations and data from infected devices, SMS verification may very well be one of the worst solutions available to date. Malware on mobile devices can “hide” itself in the background, collecting data while the use thinks the SMS simply didn’t come through. Or, in the worst case scenario, someone remotely accessed the mobile device to read an SMS code as they requested access to this platform by using the consumer’s credentials. Erasing all tracks of this SMS being sent isn’t impossible either, once somebody is remotely connected to a malware-infected device. Google Authenticator does not directly suffer from malware on mobile devices, yet it is not free of potential security risks. Commonly-used security solutions become major targets for hackers who would like nothing more than to find a bug or backdoor in Google Authenticator. Even though this has not happened just yet, it is not unthinkable for it to happen in the future.
