21  Other / Off-topic / Re: How??? on: November 28, 2016, 09:55:18 PM
I used to spend a lot of time using faucets like freebitcoin hoping to get one of the big prizes and so i got my first dollar in bitcoins in that way... if I think at it I still feel a bit stupid  Grin
The next ones came majorly by advertising on social medias like Facebook  Grin
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: November 27, 2016, 10:26:48 AM
It's possible! Obviously it is very difficult and you would need a really huge starting capital, skills, time and maybe a lot of luck in buying the right altcoins but if you have al these four "requirements" I don't see why you would not achieve your goal.
23  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: November 27, 2016, 10:22:26 AM
A mass adoption would lead to more people buying and using bitcoins and so the price would go up, so I voted for it  Cheesy
However I think that it is also possible that if the price skyrocketed a lot more people would see in the Bitcoin a good investment and start to use it.
24  Economy / Services / Re: Translations - From English to Italian - 2500 satoshis/word on: November 20, 2016, 02:59:59 PM
Bump!

Offering a free translation of max 350 words to expand my portfolio!
25  Economy / Services / Re: Translations - From English to Italian - 4000 satoshis/word on: November 16, 2016, 10:17:03 PM
I will sum up your offer for people:

By my calculations: you want 4000 satoshi ($0.03) per word , so 1000 words translation will be 4000000 which is equal to roughly $30.

You don't have a portfolio, which is the most important factor for people who need to hire a competent translator.
If I were you, I would offer my translating service for for one or two clients free or 50% cheaper just to gain recognition.

Good luck.

Thanks for the help! I lowered the rate and uploaded a translation that I recently made for a friend.
26  Economy / Services / Translations - From English to Italian - 2500 satoshis/word on: November 16, 2016, 06:58:40 PM
Hello all, I'm RobFre and I'm a native italian speaker. I often translate short texts for family and friends and I decided to offer here my services.
I'm not an experienced translator so the price is going to be quite low (2500 satoshis / word).

I'm going to accept only texts that are no longer than 1000 words.

I ask 50% of the payment before the job and 50% after it, but we could also use an escrow.

Thank you all Grin

Here it is a piece of news that I recently translated for a friend. (499 words)

27  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: November 10, 2016, 09:30:11 PM
I don't understand how would someone agree with this idea. Bitcoin is born with the intent to be a decentralized currency not controlled by the banks and this is just against its philosophy. Maybe these people are just looking for some earnings with the interests.

In my opinion the most important concept behind the Bitcoin is to be the "bank of myself"

29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin was made illegal by your government would you still use it? on: November 08, 2016, 06:35:33 PM
I think it will never become illegal but in that case i would immediately stop using it. Bitcoins are not a big part of my life and the risk of fines or even jail would be too big compared to the gins. However I would keep my private key in some safe place in case of expatriation or changes in the laws.
30  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I want to sell my freebitco.in account with 176 referrals and a free bonus also on: October 23, 2016, 03:33:09 PM
If still none of your referrals got a 20$ or a 200$ prize it doesn't mean that they will get it sooner... these are the basics of statistics.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Prediction for 2017 - share your views on: October 22, 2016, 10:15:48 AM
I think the Bitcoin will get some ups and downs but in the end the price will be around 800$. More and more people are getting into the "cryptocurrencies world" every day and in my opinion it means that the price is going to rise. I am not an expert though so this prediction is obviously without any value Grin
32  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do YOU know Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2016, 06:25:08 PM
I heard about cryptocurrencies for the first time in a humoristic video made by a popular italian youtuber. He talked about mining dogecoins but I thought that it was just a joke about the popular "meme" and I did not care about it too much. Some days later I  did some researches that leaded to this forum. This was about two years ago  Grin
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do you prefer your money to be in cash or bitcoins? on: October 17, 2016, 03:46:25 PM
I prefer to have cash money. At the moment the Bitcoin price is not stable at all and outside of the internet really few stores accept it (in my city they are less than 10). With fiat money i am more secure and if i urgently need to buy something i am sure that i can. I still see bitcoins as a valid long-term investment though.
34  Other / Off-topic / Re: Currently, what's your way of generating Bitcoins? on: October 14, 2016, 10:04:21 PM
At the moment i only earn a little bitcoin through the signature campaign and rarely translating short articles but I am planning to open a little website with a friend. But probably we will don't do anything and forget about it, like 95% of the ideas we have  Grin
35  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The religion of the future on: October 04, 2016, 11:10:48 AM
Religions are born and die continuously. For what we know now in the future people may worship technology or science. Or abandon the idea of a supreme being but still have spiritual beliefs. Neo-pagan religions ar growing really fast too. Also a full atheist society is possible too.
36  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POLL Clinton or Trump vote! on: September 18, 2016, 12:13:28 PM
Luckily I live in Europe, so I don't have to choose one of them. If I had to choose I think I'd go with Hillary... she seems to be the less bad actually.

I really liked Bernie Sanders though.
37  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your opinion on Buddhism???? on: August 20, 2016, 11:15:05 AM
I like buddhism because I find it... peaceful. There have been episodes of violence (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhism_and_violence) but it is less compared to the other big religions.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: August 20, 2016, 10:59:57 AM
I am really, really, really bad. I tend to spend money for EVERYTHING I like so I adopted this strategy: I keep only a tiny bit of the money I get and i keep the other part in a safe box. My self control is good enough to don't use them lol.
39  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: August 20, 2016, 10:52:19 AM
In my opinion the best thing is making them acknowledge that it would be profitable for them to accept Bitcoin in their shops. Introducing them personally to the "Bitcoin world" would be the best but it is really time-consuming. A good thing would be spending some money into stamping leaflets and give them to the shop owners.
40  Other / Off-topic / Re: What % of your Assets is Bitcoin? on: July 26, 2016, 01:38:38 PM
I spent nearly all of my bitcoins so they actually are the 0.002% of what i have  Grin
For now I do not plan to buy some others bitcoins, maybe it will happen in the future.
