How good are you at managing your money

In the advent of smartphones, I would suggest installing some budget apps where we can track our spending and record our budget for a certain month or year. I have one mine for years now. What I usually do is challenge myself to save more every single month and what I do is adjust some expenses on certain stuff that I have budgeted last month and when you do that, it will become a habit - a good and productive habit.

As for me, I do it in an excel file. I always use computer everyday so it's convenient for me.I keep track of my expenses like how much did I spend on food, groceries, transportation,clothing and other miscellaneous expenses and then set a budget for each kind of expense and see to it that my expenses for the month will not exceed the budget. Upon receiving my salary,I set aside a portion for savings then the rest will be for expenses. I see to it that I update my excel file everyday and I even write what items did I spent my money to and where did I spent it. Through this, I can monitor my expenses and spend only on the things that I needed. I started doing this last January 2015 until now.

I think there are some rules about financial managing.

1. Never depend on single income, make some investment to create second source
2. Buy things that you need, not what you want
3. Save your money first, and spending what is left after saving
4. Don't take risk with all you've got.
5. Do not put all eggs in one basket

It back to our self, where to spend or save the money. Usually for they're at 20+, thinking about the future and managing it properly. But everyone is different in their way to managing money, so make planning and priorities of your life.

The saving part is the most important part to me. There is no use managing your money if you can't set aside a few dollars or bitcoins for future use or for investment. You can do all the necessary cut in the budget but if you don't allocate money for saving and investment, your financial status will not improve.

We are not the same for managing money also i am not say that i am professional in managing my money but i am still not experience good result because i always risking my money to build a good website or a small business online learn and experience right now is a good key that i will be success in blogging using my earnings in bitcoin..

I do not gamble. So I have some money from mining and I hold most of the coin for the long term. I also use the bitcoin to buy things.

I think most people are gambling they will not have the ingenuity in saving their money. they will be more inclined to use their money to gamble rather than save. I think it would be difficult to control to do when you're gambling. so if you want to be rich you should avoid gambling

For sure, most of the gamblers dont have  any savings  because  they would use their remaining money just to play gambling and hoping for  winning those games but  the sad reality they would only lose their money  if they are unlucky enough. Avoid gambling activity would be a really good idea when you have plan to have a saving for future.

yeah same as I supposed I could collect a lot of money because I work in real life and in bitcoin. but because I'm not good at managing money. I was too wasteful

That's the problem with some of the people here, we have different means to earn and collect money but the problem is with ourselves because we are a big spender, we do not think of the future and allocate some savings from our earnings.

I do manage my money good because i buy what we need in our home i do buy the important things. Because money now is very hard to find. So do list and save some for the future. Its really good to one person have earnings because if you want to buy something you want is you have money to used. Be a good manager for your self do important is you have a discipline for your self.

Learning is very important as savings is the first key to your success, without savings you will have no chance to invest and that saving would prove if you can discipline your self to save base on the amount of your desired, if you can do that, you have a good chance to succeed.

I am really, really, really bad. I tend to spend money for EVERYTHING I like so I adopted this strategy: I keep only a tiny bit of the money I get and i keep the other part in a safe box. My self control is good enough to don't use them lol.

Just put enough in the safe box, an amount that you can use in the future for you investment or your plans to spend for leisure and most importantly is the money for emergencies.

Not good priorities. You should learn how to manage your finances. It is a very important aspect of life. Even if you are earning big, or you find gambling very amusing, do not squander all your money in it. Learn to save for your future while you are still strong and can work. If time comes you cannot work anymore, you have some savings to help you get thru life.
