If the ban gets passed then it will be a big blow in the market and it can slip down. Because this law is very strict and dealing in cryptocurrency after the law passed will be like dealing drugs. So who ever going to try to work for crypto currency will be doing illegal work. So i think 90% of them will stop working for cryptocurrency. Which also will be good if the law is not permitting to work on cryptocurrency then better to leave it. I am just waiting that they pass on some other law and give some rules and regulation to work on cryptocurrency.
One think is still confusing as Indian government proposes to ban and give 10yrs of imprisonment but same time they are thinking of introducing their own coin to be released. How is it going to work as they are banning the users to not work on crypto currency and other side you are introducing your own coin. How the users are going to use it when it is banned

Now i cannot advice anyone to enter Bitcoin as In my country now they have impose ban and the law has been forming strictly, Crypto currency users will be punished if found. So cryptocurrency using is illegal now in my country.

It is really bad news for the Indian crypto users as even now Localbitcoins site have stopped the cash transaction and imposed the KYC policy which is why now all users have to give their documents to verify and now even they have taken consent confirmation of giving the users details to the government authority when ever asked. So now Indian users have to delete their account so that when the proposal of Jail for crypto users should not affect it.

Removing face to face trades is a step in the right direction,but scammers will continue to get their victims by posting on other websites like Paxful.
You cannot avoid scammers from scamming but atleast you can avoid them to scam the users from localbitcoins.com site so that the exchange users are safe from scammer. I think this move not a bad one. but now they are going to share the personal information and trading details with government is one concern as in our country bitcoin is illegal so now i cannot use this site as my trading details will be shared and if i get caught then i will get punish. If you look at Google trends for Bitcoin we basically hit the highest in the last 12 months. So there is attention already.
If Bitcoin breaks $10K this time unlike last May 2018, then it will make headlines everywhere on most financial websites and papers. Then the retail FOMO rally will follow.
These days most exchanges are prepared for a surge of new customers so it won't be as bad as last Nov-Dec 2017. So if it takes off who knows where the new top will be?
In that case, I think I will have to reverse my support for the $10k, I honestly don’t want it getting there yet, I still need to raise more fiat through my work to invest more at this value. I wish I had more money, I would have invested all now, because I can also sense that $10k will cause a very big drama and create an history we have never see in the price of bitcoin. I think localbitcoins.com is not able to handle the traffic at this moment, as they were having these cards payment facility since long. Countries like south africa solely depends on these cards payment to btc .
It is not that localbitcoins.com site is not able to handle the traffic but they are seeing the users safety that is why they have stopped the gaming card payment system. Aside from high technology, hackers are always devising ways on how to hack their target successfully so exchanges should not also stop looking for effective solutions to prevent their systems being hacked.
The hacks not usually happen due to security flaws but it may also happen when insider cheat and leak the vital information to hackers due to that the hackers are able to hack the exchange. So we cannot always blame the technology flaws. |

Maybe the coin has violated the rules set by each Exchange. So that the coin was expelled from the Exchange and seemed to have been lost. You must be able to ensure that the coin is still active. By checking through their website.
This could be true, and is surely the case for some of the coins that were delisted,,, but let me tell you, the main reason is because the coin has stopped paying the fee to the exchange for allowing them to list. Not all exchanges practiced this but it was a big scandal made to come to light last year that project developers or coin owners were asked to pay a "listing fee" to exchanges to list their coin for a certain number of months. I dont think that all exchanges are charging the coin listing to the developers. Only the reputed and big exchanges are charging to list your coins balance other coins are listing freely until you dont have fully working projects and network is working fine. They are only delisting the coins which dont have their network working and who dont have enough trading to cover the cost of coin maintenance. |

OP when started this thread that time the price was above $5000+ and was fearing about a big drop and it has happened and who ever have taken the opportunity to buy in that price are today in good margin of profit. But right now the price is stable and it can move any way up or down.
So i think it will be good idea to book profit if you are a short term trader and if you are long term trader then can wait for price to move above 10k and then book profit.
If a small correction is their and short term trader dont panic then we can see price moving more up.
