21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: March 30, 2024, 09:39:37 PM
Even though there are more losses in the game, still I will come back tomorrow to make a deposit and play again. and this situation is probably also experienced by most other gamblers.
we can really have fun with gambling when we have complete control over the decisions we make ourselves.

It's not totally wrong to make continuous deposits every loss over the loss as long as gamblers know what they're doing and that money won't affect their whole financial budget. Regardless of whether these gamblers are just having fun or seriously taking gambling, if they are responsible for their finance, I don't see any problem with why they should not continue gambling.

Emotions are natural. It's impossible not to become emotional in gambling whether winning or losing. Controlling emotions will take time.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: User experience Trends in Online Gambling: What's Next? on: March 30, 2024, 09:29:29 PM
looking at how many new gaming platforms are popping up, I thought it would be interesting to talk about, based on your experience and preferences:
- what trends would you like to see in the future (eg interactive game design, innovative customer service or loyalty programs, etc.).
- what improvements or features would you specifically appreciate or suggest (what is missing)?

I think that question should be asked on the gambling platforms and not on users.

New trends should be offered by these platforms and they need to find what should bring interest to us. We, users, are just waiting on the unique developments that gambling platforms will offer to us. Besides, it's obvious already what are the basic things that gambling platforms should do to gain the trust of the community. The trends and developments should be thought by them.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 30, 2024, 09:19:28 PM
I'm rooting for that too, although lately these contracts involve everything, including fun, some even state in the contract that the fight is to last a certain number of rounds, all for fun...

It was impossible to happen. I also think that the fight is just for entertainment.

The real and serious fight will only happen if it's a professional fight and a championship belt is at stake.

One of the biggest boxing councils should also recognize it, but none of them are sanctioning the fight. This event was just organized mainly for show. Both fighters are also fighting in a different weight division. How it can be professional if the weight class are gap?
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized Gambling....Which do you prefer? on: March 24, 2024, 08:15:36 PM
I prefer centralized gambling but it doesn't mean I'm not open to playing on decentralized gambling too.

Most crypto-gamblers want anonymity as to why they switch or prefer to play with crypto-gambling but maybe it's just me that I'm not comfortable gambling my money to a platform that I don't even know who's the person or team running behind it. I also want a gambling platform that is legit and follows the regulations. But if I saw an interesting bonus and promotion on a said decentralized gambling platform, there are big chance that I will test the water there.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 24, 2024, 08:01:42 PM
I understand OP since it's no hassle to re-use the always-used deposit address and gambling sites mostly don't update the deposit address, different from trading platforms and exchanges. I also have that habit when withdrawing from exchanges to gambling sites. As far as I know, the gambling site should have no problem fixing that issue since according to OP, it's just the moment when the funds are sent, that the deposit address got changed.

Good thing that OP got the deposit money and everything went well.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does pragmatic play bonus buy really worth it? on: March 23, 2024, 03:00:44 PM
it's okay to buy the Bonus Purchase feature but still control yourself by not buying it repeatedly in pursuit of winning

What's the purpose of repeated buys if you don't pursue winning? Don't tell me, buying bonus feature just for fun?
If it's about controlling ourselves to buy the bonus feature, the best advice should be to "set a limit of repeated buys".

The main goal of repeated buys is to hit the big wins by buying the bonus feature. What's the sense of repeated buying if you are not pursuing a win?

If you meant to fully control ourselves then don't buy the bonus feature at all. Simple as that.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling until you go totally broke on: March 23, 2024, 12:23:30 PM
We don't know the other side of the story and it would be unfair if we judged the person right away just because of reckless gambling.

What if, he tried to borrow money to start again another chapter of his life, away from gambling? Or after being wrecked at gambling, trying to borrow money until he finally gets back on a smooth track again on his financial status. There are lots of scenarios that we can think about.

Since it's OP's known person, only he knows what's the current status of that person.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Try to stick to your instincts as a gambler on: March 23, 2024, 11:41:14 AM
From the very first place, the line "Try to stick to your instincts as a gambler" just came up after seeing the result.

What if the other way around happened instead and by not following what's on your instinct, it won instead? Then the line will be changed again, right?

When placing a bet, don't hesitate. If your analysis tells you that's the right bet, then don't confuse yourself on other options.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can bring positivity and light into people's lives on: March 23, 2024, 11:27:33 AM
Of course, gambling is not just about negative things. It's called gambling because it's either you win, or lose it.

However, it's pretty obvious what situation most gamblers ended up in, and that was losing. Yes, there are big winners in gambling, and that is possible, but not all people can experience that. If gambling is that easy, then it's not gambling anymore.

It's better to put on anyone's mindset the negative effects of gambling instead of the positive things we can get into it.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feelings on losing the match and the bet on: March 22, 2024, 11:17:18 AM
Isn't it just a normal reaction that when our favorite team loses a match, we will be saddened? Especially if we placed a bet on them, which will add more sadness since our money was put at risk supporting them and later gone too. Part of the game and no choice but to move on.

It's just fine to feel saddened after a loss regardless if we placed a bet or not since that's a normal reaction of our emotion. But we need to move on and try to get back on track on our next bet. There's no 100% smooth road to winning every bet. Consistent wins are hard to achieve but what matters is, that winning is more often to happen than losing.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 22, 2024, 11:01:13 AM
Jake has more stamina and age is his advantage. Mike more power in his hands and skill. Dexterity + youth vs strength + skill. Better compare both fighters from that perspective, than a youtuber vs a pro boxer. I would watch this fight mostly to see what old professional boxer is capable of. Just look at some other old retired boxers. Fat, clumsy, have problems with coordination, alcohol problem, health problem and etc. I am curious what is left from one of fearsome boxers of all time.

Disregarding technical analysis between both fighters, more people will see this fight since it's Mike Tyson. Those who have never seen the boxing legend in actual fighting in the ring will take that opportunity to watch him live even though many people already believe that the fight is just for entertainment purposes.

I doubt some seriousness will apply to this fight. Exhibition matches are not meant for serious fighting. Aside from that what matters is the revenue that will generate on this match. Mike Tyson as a legend will gather many live views and more subscriptions on Netflix that will stream the fight live.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football teams create a kind of community on: March 22, 2024, 10:31:11 AM
The point is why does football create such a tension and division that can even result to fight and dispute sometimes.

It's not appropriate to blame football alone for why the situation of those fans or avid followers became like that. It's impossible to determine when or how that situation started since maybe it's the culture surrounding the football sport since then. But seriously, I can't believe that even between families, they will break their bond just for the sake of supporting the team.

I think in today's generation, it's not just about football but maybe other personal reasons lead to tension.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamer's fan took his own life due to addiction on: March 22, 2024, 09:48:51 AM
What do you think about this? Do such people deserve a platform even on Kick?

If the Kick platform allows such gambling streamers then nothing we can do about it. They deserve it or not is non of our business. Besides, even if we blame the streamer for attracting the user which eventually leads to gambling addiction, should we blame the streamer itself? We should be the ones to control ourselves and not be influenced too much by these streamers. Besides, these streamers, even though we hate them, didn't force anyone to gamble but rather just inviting.

But in the end, I also support eradicating all gambling streamers but only those who are just doing gambling-related that easily without looking at the site reputation of what they advertised. I mean those streamers who are just streaming a certain gambling site without doing a background check if these sites are legit and reputable. There are lots of local gambling streamers like that in our place just to gather more views.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: March 22, 2024, 09:31:46 AM
That's right, when it comes to lotteries, it's true that this is the easiest type of gambling and the one that I would recommend for some beginners but expect the low chances of winning because the probability rate is at low. I rarely win in lotteries and if I win, it seems like a payback for the money that I spent on my early game but it's fun and exciting so It's okay, we just need to limit ourself so we can't ended up being addicted to it.

We should accept and understand that big money prizes as rewards are always associated with the hardest way to win. It is so much harder that the probability of winning is likely lesser than the chance of being sent to the moon. Besides, the lottery ticket costs cheap and to expect big returns, just take it as fun.

Gambling types like lotteries should just be considered as side gambling habit since there's no sense of focusing on risking money here.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Marketing Strategies for New Casinos? on: March 17, 2024, 06:16:17 PM
Any form of marketing, no matter how trendy and effective it is, is useless if the advertised casinos aren't able to show any good offers to attract more users to the site. Before starting marketing, make sure that the platform does have something good or unique to offer.

Any marketing that you already know OP is proven effective. It's just a matter of how properly those will be executed and as I mentioned, if users can see something good on the site, the marketing will be more effective. Aside from that, since there are lots of online casinos nowadays, marketing will be tough.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: March 17, 2024, 05:20:38 PM
This is an advice based on my experience, don’t ever insert gambling on your schedule if you really don’t have free time for it because it will always result to disaster in both gambling and your life.

It's better to just do gambling, only if we intend to do it regardless if we are busy with our schedule or not.

It's good to play gambling if our interest is present at that particular time rather than just doing it because we want to make money even though our body is tired anymore because of all-day work. It's ok to gamble a bit after a tiring day of work or before going to sleep but not to the point that we will spend several hours playing on it which lessens our sleep hours already and a result, lack of energy at work and any other regular activities daily.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 16, 2024, 08:31:57 PM
So i want to know as a gambler that you are, do you feel following those betting predictions from those sites would favour us in gambling more than our own predictions? For me i trust my predictions and i have won more when i predict for myself than letting someone predict for me.

I'm not the type of bettor who heavily relies on someone's prediction, especially if I know much of the sports I'm betting. For example in a basketball match in the league that I'm familiar with. I will make my prediction based on some given pointers like team injuries, home court advantage, recent performance, and other things that will help me create my prediction.

On some random betting on sports I didn't know much about like football and soccer, that's the time I consider relying on other predictions but since it's just my random betting, not really care about serious prediction as in most case, I will just pick based on what I feel.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws? on: March 16, 2024, 08:08:49 PM
legality of online crypto-gambling in countries like the UAE or Saudi Arabia, where traditional gambling is illegal, is a complex issue.
Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws?

I don't think it doesn't matter whether it's crypto online gambling or fiat online gambling since the bottom line is, if online gambling, in general, is not allowed or illegal in a said country, then it should cover all online gambling, at whatever gambling type.

The legality of online gambling varies per country. It's good to research the web specifically about how online gambling is treated and viewed in the Middle East countries. It's also good to discuss this with those users directly living in the involved countries if somehow you can manage possibly to interact with these people.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paper Betting- Would You Consider it if you Were to Start Sports betting Again on: March 16, 2024, 07:25:43 PM
It is a good way to practice for the newbies and a good way to analyze your decision making skills. When you are doing this on paper try to write out the reasoning as to why you thought a specific event outcome to come or not come. That way when the event happens you can look back at where you went wrong or right.

I doubt someone's decision-making skills will improve in that way. There's no risk at all involved in paper betting.

The decision-making requires real factors to be improved: there should be risks, there should be pressure, and the bet should win no matter what.

It's easy to make a decision when there's no risk involved since losing that bet is just nothing at all.
