21  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 27, 2016, 11:54:13 PM
BItcoin is more popular in online market, but for real market (offline) gold is number 1, to get fast growing bitcoin is the best choice
No question about that because the fact says that the estimate user of bitcoin is just less that 1% of the total world population so that would already answer the question, I think there is no person in this world who does not know about gold, if you will ask them of course they will choose gold because that is money for them.
if you see it from these side of the course you are correct but if you ask people who have known bitcoin, I'm not sure he would choose gold.
thats right mate theres difference between who's going to hold or to choose bitcoin believers will keep bitcoin as their asset while gold or old holders will still choose gold.
because bitcoin is the best investment option that is possible at the moment and in my opinion it can only grow in the future
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: September 26, 2016, 11:00:32 PM
I think it is still profitable but not the way it was before the halving.  Since the block reward is lesser, it means lesser revenue to split within the pool who happen to find a block.  This is the case to a pool that is mining only bitcoin but there are lots of multipool that mines different altcoin so probably they are not affected.
yeah, halving means that it is harder to get bitcoins right now so it definitely is profitable for holders
23  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: September 26, 2016, 10:59:58 PM
No I am not buying at a moment instead I prefer to earn them from signature campaign and trading and current price seems to be higher for me so I will prefer to give investing some rest at a moment.
im not buying any bitcoins right now too, i think that i would buy only if the price went down way lower
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to "Hack" a known bitcoin address? on: September 26, 2016, 10:59:37 PM
This must be a very hard lesson, but learning from a tragedy. OP's friend may RIP.
I just worry, because I am also not sharing anything about my bitcoin savings with my family members. At least for this reason, we must educate our family members about bitcoins.
but i think it is impossible to hack the address because you would need nasa computers for that and even with that it would take ages
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: September 26, 2016, 10:58:57 PM
I think bitcoin can't help poor countries because governments are afraid that the price is going to drop of their currency.
of course it can help the poor countries, they can use money without banking then so it would be way easier
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Separate Computer for Bitcoin/Financial Information vs Personal? on: September 26, 2016, 10:58:30 PM
im fairly paranoid about my coins as well.  i use a nano ledger, im about to get a trezor, i also have 2 cpu (one for btc business), and 2 phones (one for btc business ,i use 2fa alot).  one cpu and phone i never download anything on it  . the other ones is for entainment and downloads, and porn  ,i gotta catch up on my porn watching . ive been pretty heavy into btc this past 2 years , the btc life stole alot of my porn time.
i think yu should be good, you shouldnt be worried about it or if you are you should seek for another ways to save it

28  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: September 08, 2016, 03:33:03 PM
There is many methods to earn money with bitcoin, you can for example hold your coins for the price increasing, and you can trading altcoins , and you can selling skills and goods online for Bitcoin
well basically you are right, though in my opinion the best way to make money with bitcoins is to do altcoins trading with them and make some profit

Yeah altcoin trading is the best way to make profits and in quick time, no doubt it is bit risky but if you do  proper research and choose a right coin then risk can be reduced.
well you are more or less right about it in my opinion, altcoins will surely allow you to earn big profit if you trade it correctly
29  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: September 08, 2016, 03:32:05 PM
Nope. Try asking a random stranger and ask them if they know BTC. Some might say yes to that question but without even asking them if they know USD, the answer is automatically yes because they use USD everyday.

BTC on the other hand is just for people who spends time on the Internet and/or has a friend who introduced him/her to bitcoin. USD has been around for decades and BTC is just starting to gain popularity. I'd say that BTC is sort of becoming popular to some areas but not all that knows bitcoin uses bitcoin.

I bet 80% of the population in the world knows USD and has seen one while there's really small percentage of people who knows BTC and I think they haven't seen a physical BTC coin. Like me, I've known and I have BTC for so long but I've never seen a physical BTC coin personally. Smiley
I think that the usdollar will be better than the bitcoin in the future for sure because i know that in the future the bitcoin wont be such as popular as he is from now.
it will be better than bitcoin for a while i believe though in my opinion bitcoins are going to be bigger than dollar in a few decades
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: September 08, 2016, 03:31:34 PM
I am actually about to quit my day-job to work full time "on bitcoin". It is very exciting, however I will be soon working strictly for bitcoins with my employment. This should be a very interesting chapter in my life and I am excited to start working for a dedicated, serious bitcoin company.
i would definitely not quit my job to just work for bitcoins because for me it is too risky to lose money of a price drop
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: September 08, 2016, 03:30:56 PM
btc crashes, pumps, crashes, price goes back up.. nothing new. Price will explode to 10k 1 day.
it would be great but i dont think that it will ever happen, the crash is not possible too in my opinion the price will be pretty stable
32  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: September 08, 2016, 03:30:12 PM
Just buy another 10 extra Bitcoin so that you have 17 in total, it is going to be pretty hard to try and earn another 10 Bitcoin for free.
You can also try it with gambling but I do not recommend that.
thats the best way in my opinion, you will definitely not make that much money out of doing something because it would be just too risky
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: September 07, 2016, 08:30:25 PM
The worst decision was to invest in gambling and ponzi sites to multiply my coins in quick time, I was newbie at that time and was not aware about the scams happening around.
The worst decision the same as me. when I had just joined a few months in this forum, I was tempted by an investment site that offers great results in the short term. but investment in gambling sites is not a bad decision, it was still better than investing in ponzi site.
how can you become a hero user in a few months? besides that i never invest into those websites because they always are just a scam
34  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: September 07, 2016, 08:29:42 PM
Definitely not from the top price. I may reconsider it when it drops to 400$. Would definitely buy from that price.

That does not matter actually if someone wants to buy since the price is growing, so if you buy now when the price is growing you would probably earn your profit according to that so you don't need to wait for a that big drop really.
you are right, it does not matter when you buy your bitcoins i think that it is always going to bring you profit as the price is going to a new all time high
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: September 07, 2016, 08:28:45 PM
Increasing of community is always good, more users of bitcoin, more chanses than we will see accepting bitcoins in different countries, but still not sure on this theory
yeah I was very happy when there are a lot of people begin to adopt the bitcoin as the key to all evolutionary bitcoin bitcoin is of the adoption of the future. so I really hope that they continue to grow

That is right. More and more people are using the bitcoin now. So the network is quite congested. That is a proof.
yeah, people count is increasing in bitcoins right now for sure and i think that bitcoin is going to become a huge currency and replace fiat
36  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: September 07, 2016, 08:26:30 PM
i will not sell it too.  i know bitcoin will not disappoint me it wll reach the way we never expect it bigger than before and ill be waiting for that time it gonna happen.

You mean to say that you will never sell your coins? If you will never sell then how you gonna enjoy profits from it? We are here to make profits and not only to hold coins and miss the opportunity of making money.

well, you can see what he says will wait for the time it happened, I thought not to sell now and sell in the future when prices really rise very high.
I don't think it's a good move if you just thinking to waiting for the price rise and sell it out into fiat money as you know there are inflation when prices of goods/services increase that cause the value of fiat money decrease but in the other hand the price of bitcoin goes up. It will better if you could use bitcoin to buy something that you need at online stores which accepted bitcoin, of course you can exchange some into fiat money but not a half of yours, just a small amount.

Waiting for the price hike or simply holding your bitcoins is already proven by the first bitcoin holders and one they are just enjoying the profits that they have made by just simply holding. So this is going to be a good move if you believe that the price of bitcoin is going to fluctuate higher and going to reach up to $1,000.
im also holding all of my bitcoins right now and waiting for something big in the future, i hope that it is going to grow to a new all time high
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: September 06, 2016, 04:56:25 PM
I consider toying with crypto a bit of gambling, so yes, I am a bit richer.
My comment - deleted by somebody - was refering to
Quote
The ones that are really serious with gambling and devote their time to learn the techniques to win, they are treating gambling as their job that is why they are successful and I believe some can do that while most of the people have tried but failed.
Well put.

That is a good point actually. I think somewhere out there, there is a proffesional gambler that rich from gambling. The problem is maybe only 1 or 2 gambler from 100000000 gamblers
people never become rich from gambling to be honest because if it was possible then casinos would stop existing most probably
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how many gambling sites have been hacked? on: September 06, 2016, 04:53:51 PM
I have never heard any casino sites being hacked, if attacked by user with ddos, yes there are several sites being attacked and cause the site to stop working, but if being hack then the money being stolen i think it hasnt ever happen yet, or maybe the sites has a great way to cover it, because losing money because of hacker is going to destroy the site reputation
the same for me, i heard several exchanges but never a gambling websites, they just sometimes run away with people money
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what fight where you gambled at got the most gains? on: September 06, 2016, 04:53:15 PM
sometimes i was bets for MMA fights but i was very rarely to do so because i have lack of knowledge for MMA fights or boxing fights so for sport betting i don't dare to placing my bets if i don't know which are the stronger fighter

It's a very good thing dude, because it has the effect of slightly to reduce you addicted in gambling. I hope that you are indeed doing gambling because it has a strong belief and stop gambling when you always get the defeat or the bet that you do not have an advantage for you.

i think betting games is in the Gambling also. In my opinion if you are not good in dice games then you should go with betting games Cheesy though you dont have enough knowledge to bet on a team or a person that is high possibility to win but it is okay because it has a 50 / 50 chance to win Cheesy So i do prefer sports betting games Cheesy
yeah, of course it is gambling, in my opinion if you dont want to lose all the money you have then you should just avoid such games
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: September 06, 2016, 04:52:09 PM
instead of using your brain, which is painful, spending your money. good reason Smiley
thats true, they usually are just trying to win easy money right now even though it is usually an impossible thing to do to be honest
