21  Economy / Speculation / Re: ATH will be in 2021! on: December 01, 2020, 11:51:20 PM
What do you think guys?

I am a little bit afraid for those who bought btc just recently where market recorded 19K$ per btc. Now, the current market drops and if they get emotional and sell it then it is already a loss for them. If it happen that they can hold it then I guess there is still a chance that they could earn especially if ATH will going to break more than 20K. But BTC market is very unpredictable so good luck to all!

Anyway, I had a question will ATH happening this year? or in the year 2021?

What do you think?

Traders and investors have learned to control their emotions, they won't sell because bitcoin stuck at a maximum of $19k~ but they will sell at profits according to their goals. Many things can happen within a week let alone one month, we still in the early of December, bitcoin may reach the ath within mid to end of this month, at least $21k in my opinion as bitcoin is just a step away from breaking the $20k record.
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting ATH right now? on: December 01, 2020, 04:53:28 PM
Yeah! the strongest resistance area indeed at 20k. After breaking and hitting new ATH, Bitcoin retrace almost 10%.  currently the key support is at $ 18.1K. I hope ,don't break it yet, while waiting for BTC to find an area for sideways.
Personally, I expect there will be Alt season, buy the dip #DYOR

The highest price I saw on bitstamp was $19,918 today and other exchanges may hit a higher point but haven't hit $20k yet. Somehow it just doesn't feel satisfying to hit the ath until bitcoin stabilizes at $20k at least for several hours. Too many sell orders slightly below $20k to prevent bitcoin from reaching that mark. However, it won't last long as bitcoin suppose to reach a new ath by this month.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Lived In London While Working On Bitcoin on: December 01, 2020, 02:54:54 PM
This kind of story is really important for the history of Satoshi Nakamoto, but there we may still not sure on the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, some may tell he/she is located in country of Japan.
I really admire these people who really doing research and have a time to study the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, kudos to them!

The only Country that legalizes bitcoin as a legal tender as a payment method since 2016.
The first biggest exchange was located in Japan and probably the Japanese name of Satoshi Nakamoto somewhat contributed to this decision.
Despite all the uncertainty and vagueness of the truth about his identity, we are grateful and always wish him the best.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: Heavy BTC resistance at $20k on: December 01, 2020, 11:11:01 AM
It's not yet and at least not this time. The resistance can be broken anytime. A heavy resistance is nothing when FOMO will be starting to happen again. wait at least a week or more and bitcoin will be able to break the heavy resistance around 20k .
I'd say that if bitcoin remains $19k for a month or two.

We can have at least a deep sigh as a sign of relief. That's what we want to see bitcoin moves. Just like when it was stable at $10k. I hope that pattern will still be the same this time and it will stay on this level for a long time before it reaches a new high.

I'd say Bitcoin will break $20k within a few days or it can be today as the price fluctuates at $19,7k-$19,8k at the moment. The sales hype in the market is over, big whales don't want to sell their coins at lower levels compared to $21-$22k. The big wall at $20k very likely to be surpassed today as $19,918 is the peak so far.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we gonna see a new ATH this year? on: November 30, 2020, 06:00:22 PM
Altcoins always following bitcoin steps, although some steps behind as whenever bitcoin price increase, altcoins more likely will increase as well yet in a small percentage. instead, altcoins reach its ath after bitcoin fell from its peak price, so we can conclude that altcoins will not reach the ath this year as it's the time for Bitcoin to get on top, then altcoins may reach the ATH in the Q1 of 2021.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Bearish on: November 29, 2020, 03:38:31 PM
Bitcoin gas tested the $16k support and testing the trendline, and the chance to increase in the coming days is high... if bitcoin can hold above 0.5 Fib level. Furthermore, the RSI level shows that there are a lot of too to grow, this will add the chance to a stable uptrend. If the reversal beginning it's very likely won't fall below $17k within this week.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the banksters and governments held 90% of the Bitcoin supply, what now? on: November 27, 2020, 04:31:23 PM
Would it be fair enough to assume that the project has failed, or failing?

90% of Bitcoin being held by an oligarchy of the elite, a cartel of banks, and by governments working together might turn Bitcoin into their "playground".

Not to mention that Satoshi hold so many coins and governments always sell Bitcoin in the auction if they seize crypto from criminal activities. In this case, 90% still far away from reality, if they buy bitcoin, people will gain profits through the process but doesn't mean they will control it, supply and demand will play the role.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to buy Altcoin ? on: November 27, 2020, 02:56:07 PM
I have sold mine and prefer to wait until the bitcoin price stable and altcoins may follow.
If you buy altcoins in the current market conditions, it could be that the price will continue to fall if the price of bitcoin drops deeper. We don't know yet, just give it the time 1-2 days to judge whether the market will be stable at this rate or the correction isn't over yet.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you scared? on: November 27, 2020, 02:17:32 PM
~Sometimes when they are to receive money from another country like international transfer sometimes it takes 2 3 days to arrive,They will advise them to use bitcoin and they still don’t accept it even it faster and easier. How can we erase the negative thoughts of people over bitcoin? Nobody has any negative thoughts over dollars or there various currencies, We need to think about it.

This question belongs to those who afraid to use bitcoin as a means of payment, most users here are willing to pay or receive bitcoin as a medium of exchange, in fact we use it every day in this forum.
For people who know nothing about Bitcoin, they will not accept bitcoin obviously, it's easier for them to receive payment in fiat currency even if it takes longer and a higher fee.
Another thing probably because bitcoin is a volatile currency, the value may change within minutes and that is a loss for them if the price suddenly drops $100-$500 as we have seen on the market.
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: Recent Bitcoin Correction on: November 27, 2020, 12:54:04 PM
Since bitcoin failed to break the resistance at $19,5k and many people want to sell at the ath, it makes sense for traders to sell in advance. The question is how long it will last, how much the correction will be? However, bitcoin seems to hold above $16k so far which means the rebound will take place soon.

The weakness of Bitcoin is only 1, that is price/value which can be easily manipulated by whale groups who have millions or even billions of dollars in Bitcoin.  ~

Bitcoin has many imperfections but in terms of volatility, that's one of them, it can't be solved though as people who have much money has the privilege to accumulate bitcoin more than average people.
That's why we hope the institutional investors are planning to hold bitcoin for the long-term.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal bought up to 70% of all the newly mined bitcoin recently on: November 27, 2020, 10:35:25 AM
~

PayPal is having billions of $$$ in reserve funds available and they can easily acquire medium-level exchanges and other cryptocurrency ventures. My biggest fear is that they may try to acquire Binance or Blockchain.com, which may have a very negative impact on the users of these platforms. What will happen, if PayPal acquires Blockchain.com, and then asks all the users to update their KYC?

Although PayPal has billions of dollars, yet it's not easy to acquire a crypto-company such as BitGo, they have discussed but there seems to be no agreement because this news has been quite a while but Pay Pal has not shown any cooperation other than with Paxos. You see, it's not that easy to buy a company if no one to sell it, even though they have a lot of funds. And I doubt Binance or blockchain.com will ever sell their company.

32  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal bought up to 70% of all the newly mined bitcoin recently on: November 26, 2020, 07:33:45 PM
so yeah, seems that paypal is storing their btc stash to be available anytime to its users. wont be surprised if they will create their own crypto exchange in the future.

Bitcoin will never be available to paypal users. hey can never withdraw them.  Only one that will be able to use papayl users Bitcoin will be paypal itself. They will be able to manipulate Bitcoin market with those coins from their users. Paypal users will be only able to watch.

They probably have that intention to create their exchange as PayPal ever want to acquire crypto-firm.
PayPal is a good thing to support Bitcoin adoption although users can't withdraw their bitcoin at the moment, but who knows if they will have that feature someday if the company really create or buy a crypto exchange.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real purpose of Bitcoin on: November 26, 2020, 07:07:07 PM
As long as people still use bitcoin as a medium of exchange, we can say that it's not losing the original purpose even if 90% of people presume bitcoin as an asset, an investment, or a gambling tool.
Nonetheless, most transactions occur in exchanges between traders to make a profit, that's why you think it's losing the primary objective. But how do you expect bitcoin to spread widely among people worldwide without buy and sell on exchanges?
34  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is getting ready for 20k again on: November 26, 2020, 05:38:35 PM
I believe the reason why we are not breaking over easily is the fact that there are too many people who are scared. Buyers are scared because they fear if they buy more from here the price may crash and burn like last time after breaking over ATH or even before that, and sellers are afraid because if they sell from here the price could break over ATH as well.

However sellers are a it more at ease because if they bought at lower, they are going to miss out from profit but they still profited a bit to say the least. So, it is quite understandable why bitcoin didn't went up just yet but it is on the path, it will go up. There is no situation where bitcoin went to $19.4k levels and didn't break over $20k because we are too close to give up right now.

It's expected as bitcoin approach the ATH, too many people want to sell at that point, so it makes sense to sell-off before bitcoin reaches that target, then buyback at the dip, waiting for the next leap.
So, this is normal in the market of free trade, everyone has a target, has a plan, just hold it or sell at the moment, if the price holds its position above $16k and be able to bounce back to $19k, many people will regret their decision to sell at current price and vice versa.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: US people are buying LTC while the other world is avoiding it on: November 26, 2020, 04:28:39 PM
Litecoin is another option for people who think that Bitcoin is too expensive at the current rate and it's overbought, hence they are looking for a cheaper version of bitcoin which is Litecoin. If Bitcoin reaches a higher price tag, then LTC very likely to rise as well, just like in 2017 when it hit the ath at $375, it might go beyond that point if Bitcoin be able to surpass the ath as well.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip, and HODL! on: November 26, 2020, 03:11:19 PM
Question is when will the dip actually happen? Many expected it from around $14K including myself, many are hoping from very recent $16.5K top, but could be anywhere between $17.5-20K by the looks of it. The only problem with only buying dips, is that right now there hasn't been one since $12K.

indeed there will be no decline below the price you say and the possibility of it happening is very small. but the decline is only in the range of $ 1K- $ 2K each time there is an increase and then falls back. behavior that has been done several times and continuously, so it is like a short-term investment. with the current price towards the end of the year I predict that bitcoin will go down and do not give the opportunity to increase again with the surprises it often makes. next year is bitcoin to make improvements, we are waiting for the moment.

I would consider the dip up to $30% from $19,5k as the peak, which means around $13,6k as the bottom line if this sell-off trend continues.
However, we don't know how big the drop will be, how if bitcoin hold the support level at $16,3k and won't fall below it? with this thought, I don't want to sell bitcoin or buy it too early, just wait for it to actually drop to $13k or $12k, then buy the dip.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin to buy now on discount? on: November 26, 2020, 02:24:18 PM
Hi guys, what is a good altcoin to buy now that we are having a correction? Seems like a good discount.
Still Altcoins in the top 10 are always good to buy, because the top Altcoins are really strong on all sides, and when the next pump happens, the top 10 Altcoins will be very easy to move up and experience good price changes in the market.

Agreed, when bitcoin starts to rise again, the top ten altcoins on the market will recover as well even break the ATH.
However, some coins may be better than others, depends on your capital, whether to invest at a higher or cheaper coins price such as ETH, BCH, LTC, XMR or XRP, XLM, EOS, ADA, NEO. Personally, I prefer to buy some of the cheaper coins like XRP and EOS because even a small increase can still generate a higher profit.
38  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it a good time to get in or not on: November 25, 2020, 07:52:42 PM
Can one still dare to invest in Bitcoin when the price is skyrocketing this high? I remember that some invested in Bitcoin at 20,000$ and the whole market started crashing on them, before they could pull out their money it's already too late and till today they haven't recovered their money, is this a good time to get in or it's already too late?

Bitcoin is predictable to some extent, thus people should aware of the fact that the price may go down at a certain point, learn the risk and anticipate the limit before decide to buy. It's not a big problem if people invest with an intention for long term assets, because bitcoin will recover eventually even reach a higher level although it takes 1-2 years.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2013, 2017 bubbles and 2020 bull run on: November 25, 2020, 04:30:04 PM
everything has its time, and the period of bitcoin is every 4 years,
that's according to history, because history says that after the Bitcoin Halving has increased significantly,
and this makes 2020 a year for bulls, it can't be denied, 2021 - 2022 will also be more bullish , we'll see.

If the history may be repeated, then Bitcoin will reach a new ATH in Q4 of 2021 and the price will plummet in the early 2022. The price range may differ but the pattern will probably similar in 2017-2018, since the second halving in 2016 and the third in 2020, don't you think so?
I'm just curious how much bitcoin could increase in the next year and what is the new ATH, will bitcoin really hit $100k? Or whether it will be different in 2022 just like you said.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: November 25, 2020, 02:53:04 PM
So many people were skeptical about this blog post and bitcoin price ,that it cannot even touch 15k ,  thats the major difference between between a general trader and analyst . Because they predict keeping in mind the past records and public sentiments .

Yeah, what the article mentioned makes sense to the current situation despite many users doubt that analyst although it was based on a study in the market with the halving and institutional investors, not a wild guess without explanation. Nonetheless, it's not the end of the year yet Bitcoin can manage to reach $20k shortly, with that in mind, the projection of bitcoin may reach $28k probably going to take place in December, who knows.

The report also states that bitcoin will reach a 2017 high of 20,000 dollars and may even reach a new high score of 28,000 dollars, as we saw in the last year the high was about 14,000 dollars, which could convert bitcoin almost double in 2020.
