Depends on where you are. Circle is best for the UK. Coinbase for the US. Quadriga for Canada. Bit4Coin for the SEPA region
23  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: September 27, 2016, 08:05:45 AM
Anyone with a basic grasp of history can't believe in a benevolent god imo. Too many atrocities occur, too many twisted diseases are inflicted, and too much suffering exists. That doesnt mean that God does not exist, it just means that he either has no influence on us; making him irrelevant, or he is evil making him not worth thinking about.
24  Other / Politics & Society / Re: First Debate: Donald Trump vs Hillary Clinton on: September 27, 2016, 08:02:05 AM
Seems to me like Clinton won that hands down. Trump came across as rattled and uninformed, while Clinton made some good points. Neither are great options but Clinton is the lesser of two evils here. Not only would Trump alienate the US from the rest of the world, but he would also get nothing done domestically. He can't compromise or negotiate to save his life it seems. I guess you don't have to when you're dad loans you tens of millions straight off the bat.

Hi I will invest to any idea about earn bitcoin. I would start from 0.1 BTC. If everything will be ok I pay more more money Smiley I wait for PW  Smiley

You could try investing in p2p bitcoin lending platforms. Bitbond for example has ~20% interest loans.
It has lot of risk to do this , even you lend in those reputable sites and at least have a chance for scamming your money.
"No Collateral , No Loan" you must take this motto whatever situation about borrower you must asking about collateral.
But , you can lend your money here in bitcointalk.org , then you can asked them for collateral .

Most of these bitcoin lending sites now have a comprehensive sign up process for borrowers. Proof of income, proof of residence, passport copy, live video session... so I think it's not quite as risky as youre making it out to be.

Definitely invest with caution though, and preferably in borrowers with good ratings.

27  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What if Bitcoin is made illegal? We must reject the illuminati takeover ! on: September 23, 2016, 09:10:28 AM
The price is steady, bitcoin applications are flourishing. You can buy beer and burgers with bitcoins. There are no illuminati. Government's are harnessing the opportunities rather than stamping them out. The future of bitcoin is bright, no need for fear Smiley
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: September 21, 2016, 08:08:03 AM
bitcoin's future will depend on the real-world problems it manages to overcome.

Efficient micropayments are an example of this. Cross-border lending, and cheap remittance payments are others. In these cases, bitcoin already does the job much better than current alternatives.

This is not guaranteed in the future however, as more disruption happens, people will find new and perhaps better ways of solving these problems without bitcoin.

What gives me hope, is bitcoin's amazing potential to become crucial to new technologies. The Internet of Things for example is estimated to include more than 50 billion devices by 2050. Bitcoin and the blockchain can play a vital part in this.
29  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is Max amount of btc once you own? on: September 20, 2016, 04:29:31 PM
I currently "own" about 2.3 bitcoin and buy $100 worth every month to invest on p2p lending sites.
30  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: September 20, 2016, 09:33:25 AM
well, i lived in the philippines and i guess knowledge in bitcoin here in the country is booming. most of the filipinos specially in modernized cities, knew about this. i think bitcoin is more popular in the upper part of the country like manila. but unfortunately, though they knew about this, they are not into it. they knew but they dont mind. i guess this is because they think that the value of bitcoin will depreciate, they think that the coin has no future. if only there would be a mass awareness in bitcoin in the country then maybe it'll be great!

I've heard great things about the adoption rates of bitcoin in the Philippines! What would you say are the main sites and communities?
31  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: September 20, 2016, 08:41:30 AM
Everyone know that US is most country accepted bitcoin in major area and companies and the number of company accepted bitcoin are growing daily

But that not much article or post clear out how is popuplar of bitcoin in your country

This topic let sharing to us about users using bitcoin in your country

- What they normaly do with bitcoin in your country ?
- Do you think your country will replace US for number of bitcoin users in near future ?

Bitcoin in Scotland is pretty non-existent, which is a shame because it could be part of a counter-culture which has matured over the last 50 years.

I think countries like China are most likely to overtake the US in terms of bitcoin users. The reason is that bitcoin is incredibly cheap and works with tiny amounts.

It is also location-independent which is a huge benefit for huge, sprawling countries like China.
32  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: September 19, 2016, 12:32:28 PM
I will prefer to invest them in altcoin trading as I think that is the best choice to make at a moment and with 10 btc I can also expect some huge profits at regular intervals.

what platform would you use to trade altcoins?
33  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 BTC loan - 5% monthly interest on: September 14, 2016, 08:01:55 AM
Hi! and thanks for all the comments

1. I offer my site www.cryptosdice.com as a source of income, but I can't provide a collateral.

2. I don't want to user a lending platform like btcjam or loanbase, because I only want a loan for 2 months, and the interest rate there is too high.

I like your site but I dont think it's worth one bitcoin just yet. Loan terms on lending platforms tend to go from 2 weeks to however long you want. So 2 months wouldnt be a problem.
34  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 BTC loan - 5% monthly interest on: September 13, 2016, 08:42:36 AM
I am looking for a 1 BTC loan. I am going to pay 5% monthly for a maxium of 3 months.

Pm me for more details.

Have you tried bitcoin lending platforms? You can get rates way below 5% per month (which is 60% per year)
35  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: September 13, 2016, 08:29:42 AM
I was thinking of putting together a project and this brought it to mind.  It would be Bitcoin insurance.  Basically a wallet that is fed from your pay or however, but on a regular basis.  The company that creates the insurance holds the private keys and that keep people from hitting their wallets every time they see a new toy out there.

This could be bad at start. How will you gain their trust first. You need a lot of spending before they would trust you. What else is bad here. You hold the private keys so a mess could possibly happen if you are the one hacked. They cant even do a thing.

This is a good point. Establishing trust is incredibly difficult in the bitcoin community due to past events. Additionally, the entry barrier is so low that you might start getting thousands of "customers" who only have a few satoshis. As a result, you will have a ton of customer support and admin costs for very little revenue. If you put customer support on the back-burner and concentrate on marketing, the two/three people who encounter bugs and cant use your platform properly will go to social media, forums, and reddit to shout about how you cant be trusted.

I think the low revenue coupled with potentially huge customer base is a real problem for your platform and most bitcoin platforms.

Always happy to see new bitcoin companies though, so I would say go for it anyway Cheesy
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 13, 2016, 08:13:08 AM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas

steady income in bitcoin without activity doin anything
you can lending your bitcoin but still few activity
if you investment in cloud mining you can still activity, you must login to website request withdraw coinfirm withdraw to inbox email

if you want growth money you must still activity, maybe few activity doing but must still activity

The performance of my btc investments keeps improving and Im now getting to the point where I place a btc in autoinvest and let it do all the work. I check up on it occasionally and play it safe. I also make sure to invest in shorter loan terms so I'm not tied up for too long. Returns have been pretty decent. About 11% on my usd loans but -5% on my btc loans. So still in plus, but learnt my lesson. Wont be investing much in risky btc denominated loans anymore.
37  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ** BITBOND ** - Asking for Video Identification ?? on: September 06, 2016, 07:26:17 AM
Hi All

Had an email from Bitbond with link that i need to confirm ID via a video link.

I did not use the link provided in the email (in case it was a scam) but looged into the site and went to the identity page after logging in and it is asking for it.

BUT when i 'start' the process, it takes me to the window below and does NOTHING ??

I am running Windows 7 upto date and based in UK

Anyone else had this or advise ?

Cheers

 Huh

Yes, Bitbond now requires video identification for investors as well. This is to be in line with standards counteracting money laundering in Germany. It's mentioned in their newsletter.

My video identification went fine but im sure support will help you if the blue screen persists.
