21  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 20 USB block erupters on: June 01, 2013, 11:04:00 AM
Are you sure they work with 660 mh/s?
In the upper left there is the overall value, which equals more or less 8 * 330 mh/s.

Proves these things really are for the general public.
22  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 30GH BFL ASIC - week 4 giveaway winner (sig contest - early shipping) on: June 01, 2013, 11:02:26 AM
What type of verification? Like a purchase verification? An order number?
They don't exist, which is why I posted the thread and the email.

I can get more of a verification if that's what you want. But I don't think I should waste BFLs time and get them to verify for this sale when they get nothing out of doing it.

People are getting 10BTC for Singles for a start.

But then this has a 30G unit with a very early delivery date.

Hmm, maybe I'm better off doing an auction...
25  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 30GH BFL ASIC - week 4 giveaway winner (sig contest - early shipping) on: June 01, 2013, 12:20:52 AM
********
This is now an auction here: AUCTION https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=223133.0
Thanks.

********

You will get a BFL Single, plus a 30Gh upgrade.
Competition winners were promised to be shipped early on in order numbers Cheesy

Competition is not clear whether a return of the Single is required, but I'll just sell both as one.

The contest thread I won;

BFL
That's right, from now until we ship our ASIC products, we are giving away 1 FPGA single per week, and to make things even sweeter, we are upgrading that single to a "Little" Single for FREE! That's right - 30 GH/s for free!

The BFL Single I won in action at home (old picture, I now mine off my HTPC);

Hashing;

Email confirmation from Dave (came after I received the single)

Note: The BFL Single and I are located in New Zealand.

Offers please.

Enmaku, could you please open up your device, take photos of chips, and perhaps a thermal image is possible?

Uhhh good luck with that.

30  Economy / Economics / Re: Excel help - total cost to sell into a table of buys on: April 15, 2013, 02:28:47 AM
Thanks mate. I'll try this out when I get a break and let you know Smiley Much appreciated.
31  Economy / Economics / Excel help - total cost to sell into a table of buys on: April 15, 2013, 01:08:41 AM
Any excel gurus about?

UNITS / PRICE PER UNIT
1 / $80
1.5 / $75
3.5 / $70

If I want to sell x units, what would be the formula to calculate the total sale value? Obviously this table is very simplified. Eg: I want to sell 4 units into the table. How much $ total will I get back?

Thanks! Smiley

MtGox are fucking idiots to continue trading. They are the cause of Bitcoin's failure here.
33  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - Coinabul owe me 81btc on: March 12, 2013, 06:46:39 PM
Wow. Coinabul is terrible. They also post private conversations. I will never buy from you.
This will get big on Reddit, I hope.

Thanks, I do my best.

It is consistently 1337 too.

psilan,
What is your purpose of this thread?

I was thinking that since everyone is mining with their GPU's for one last Hurrah before the AISC's kick in big time, maybe we should post pic's of our GPU miners with some power and block solve stats so that we have some documentary evidence for Bitcoin posterity.

Sam

The purpose was my Mhash was 1337. Also NECRO BUMP.

My mint speed per day went from .49 to .20 BTC from yesterday to today. Is that just because of ASIc or something else going on?

The mint speed shown in BitMinter client is based only on your hashrate and the current difficulty. The difficulty recently went up quite a bit, but not that much. Also, BitMinter client versions prior to 1.3.1 assumed 50 BTC blocks. So if you were running an old version until today, that would explain most of it.

Ahh yes it must have been the block calculation and a bit of difficulty. Thank you for the quick explanation Smiley.

LOL What a dick.
38  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bad news for bASIC - not shipping til mid Jan at best on: November 29, 2012, 05:44:27 AM

Is it that far out?

BFL checks on the other guys to see how long it will be before they ship and collect MORE pre-orders while not crushing the other competitors by shipping first.

win win win

everyone gets their asics at the same time and noone cancels their orders because their profit expectations just tanked and still goes lower by the day.

Sounds like a possibility to me....

Ohh my god what is wrong with some people?HuhHuh How does that sound like a possibility?

Your friend should stop playing dice if he needs the coins so bad.
40  Other / Off-topic / Re: Butterfly Labs November Update (ASIC Chips are "flawed". Delays.) on: November 28, 2012, 08:56:55 PM
Maybe someone at BFL went to the Duke Nukem Forever School of Hardware Design?

Man that sucked when it came out.

Wink
