The escrow agent wants me and the buyer to come to a final agreement. But after several months of not settling on an agreement, its obvious we need the escrow agent to make a final decision. But he(escrow agent)seems reluctant to do so.

25  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: April 17, 2014, 06:38:07 PM
New auction thread started here  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=574953.new#new

I have all the information that have been asked as far as hosting payments and hosting contract being terminated and hosting vote.

Will be gathering all the information and sending to all members soon.

Miners have not been plugged back in as hosting contract has been terminated, and after being held hostage by the last two hosting operators, I am very reluctant to enter into another agreement with any hosting provider.

As soon as all auctions have ended and payments received will issue payments to all members accordingly

Still no word on Miner #3

I arranged for auction to end on Thursday so to allow buyers to escrow or send payment on Friday. I had all hardware boxed and read to ship as I was leaving for the weekend.  Payment never materialized from one bidder, and another bidder bidder backed out of auction and decided he doesn't have to pay now.

The second buyer has agreed to buy three miners for 22 BTC  and I am waiting for  payment  to send.

#1 miner I have to sell yet

#3 is still at Cointerrra  I received this email on the April 11th

28  Economy / Auctions / Re: 4 Terraminer IV- Hashing 1.6 TH/s - Auction Starts 8 BTC - In Hand on: April 11, 2014, 01:49:55 AM
Auction is now over

Miner #4 @ 8 btc

#2 @ 6 BTC
#5 @ 8 BTC
^ 6 bTC does not meet minimum bid, so you win one terraminer.

Will PM payment details to auction winners and arrange for shipping

All miners shut down to prepare for packaging

Why did you shut the miners down when you did not receive a single bid for one of these miners???

Its possible he sold it on ebay?  Wink

Perhaps I stated in OP that I would be shutting them down to prepare for shipping

Soniq, why not sell on ebay??

They are going for a much higher price
http://www.ebay.ca/sch/Computer-Components-Parts-/175673/i.html?_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&_nkw=terraminer

$7000, $10000....
I sold my old Avalon ASIC on there and had no issues

Because I cannot receive payment in BTC

Are you willing to just give the mining to the GB share holders ...? Maybe some one trustworthy can take over the miner in each GB Huh

The price for the auction  in BTC is lower than these Terraminers are selling on ebay.  If anyone thinks managing these GB's are easy, then  buy one and sell shares.

IF you can find someone that every member unanimously  votes for I would hand this over in an instant. But getting a 100% unanimous vote will be just about impossible and improbable, because a lot of the members are willing to sell at this point.  And  I would not transfer this GB  to anyone else unless there was a 100% consensus.

you just buy the btc then Tongue setup a coinbase account...cause the way the auction going i doubt anyone will buy them...which is good cause i really don't think anyone but you wants to sell...and what happens if nobody buys them off auction?

Soon as the BTC is converted to cash there is tax implications that  I would rather avoid

And this is not about me wanting to sell the Terraminers, colo terminated contract because of operating issues.

I would continue to manage the Terraminers, but moving to another colo is not going to solve the problem. Unless I send to a dedicated miner host, which might happen if the miners dont  sell at auction.

Prices are firm

Escrow released on signed delivery, you can see from the links in OP that miners are working fine

So the shipping company drops and damages a miner, it's the buyers fault although he has no way to deal with it, even if insured it's the senders responsibility to file a claim..

If the box appears damaged then don't accept the shipment and I file a claim.

But I can tell you Cointera did over deliver on their packaging. The Terraminers are very well protected during shipping.

We have made a list of addresses that will be getting a hosting refund here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtH6ASvoAExHdF9IcFh3QmQ2dEt4Zk5qT3lRUDFDTVE&usp=drive_web#gid=45

Please verify that you have access to the address you paid the hosting payment with.  Will process hosting refund  payment tomorrow at noon.

Cheers

P.S.  As there still is no clarification from KnC on shipping the Jupiters at the end of the month, next mining payment will be suspended till they respond. Which hopefully will be soon.

HABLA  soniq da la cara y dame mi dinero cabrön: que eres un mierda; desgraciado!!!

I sent you a PM on Skype, you were overpaid with a few of the first payments. If you look at the ledger you will see that it has all been mostly paid now, and you will receive a payment on next payment date.  Plus you will receive a hosting refund if you prepaid hosting.

Cheers

I can find other colo for the miners, but from what I have seen so far, it makes more sense to sell at this time.

And the vote is overwhelmingly in favor of selling the miners.

Im sorry, but not all investments are positive.  With high risk comes high rewards and some losers. Cointerra defiantly did not over deliver here.

All proceeds  from auction  will be distributed on a per share basis.

Cheers

Vote was a majority to sell miners , 16 - 5

I have listed them here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558577.0

Cheers
