I still have a paypal account. Not all online merchants accept bitcoin yet so Paypal is still a viable way to pay up in these sites. I don't think Paypal will ever go away though since it is already an established and accepted way of paying worldwide.
It is better to use the paypal with ebay. That is what I am doing at the moment. For some other transaction, it is better to use bitcoin. |

Ethereum is younger than bitcoin but ethereum is doing great right now. Its price looks good. But we cant say ethereum is greater than bitcoin. Bitcoin created if im not mistaken 2009? And tested by many years. Ethereum is just started at 2014. We'll see that when ethereum atleast at 5-7 years of operation.
Ethereum will not exist that long! This coin was a scam from the beginning but with the bailout hardfork to save mostly whale investors and devs for financial desasters, because of investing into DAO, it became totally useless due to loss of immutability. It's living because traders speculate with it.In a few this coin will have disappeared and it's dev team will probably pull another scam or just relaxing somewhere on the carribean beach and slurping mai-tais. I do not think so. The Ethereum will survive until at least converting into PoS from PoW. But I am not sure if it will survive after. If the Ethereum continue to PoW for the next few years, also combine the PoS, then it might be a popular coins for many people. If it combines the PoW and PoS, it will attract both miners and stakers. But it might have the problem of both PoW and PoS. Isn't the strength of Ethereum good for crypto as a whole and a compliment to each other? It seems that the crypto ecosystem should be more than just about speculative investment. It should be about the furthering the capability of technology and finance to be more secure and more universal. AOL & Yahoo probably scoffed at Larry and Sergey in the beginning, but all Google did was enhance the ecosystem of the net, creating efficiencies and building new technologies. No different here. That is right. That is the reason that I mine and also buy some Ethereum. I think Ethereum is good for the whole crypto world. |

If the bitcoin cannot evolve and solve the block size problem, it will be replaced by more more actively coins.
That could be the reason why the Etherum price has risen so much in the last few weeks. The ETH price dropped from 0.019 to 0.018 now. The price is still volatile. It needs more investor support. it doesnt need any support, eth is doomed at the moment and i think that its price is only going to drop, etc though might be the currency of the future The Ethereum Classic has declared of Independence. Just make sure if you invest into anything ETH related that the foundation guys are also in on it. If there is an issue they will just push the fork and you will not lose anything. Pretty safe coins knowing if anyone messes up you get a do-over!
That is a good advice. The Foundation member can just propose change like you and me, if we (miners) do not agree with that, the proposal is useless. I will support the hard fork proposal to get back the money stolen by the hacker. The hacker should be punished by stealing $60 million. The attacker did not stole anything! In Ethereum the code is the contract! When some devs are to dumb to code something accurately and the people agreeing to that contract haven't read it precisely or don't understand what's going on then it's your own risk! Don't blame others who just have a different interpretation of that contract and took advantage of it! This coin was a scam from the early beginning and that bail out just shows that some whales close to Vitalik, some Eth devs and Vitalik himself had too much skin in that shitty contract! Ethereum and the DAO will become worthless and the whole community will remind every newbie how flawed and full of corruption this thing is. Live with it buddy!!Live with it! The DAO holders do not intend to give away the $60 million to the attacker. The contract has to be fair. The hard fork just happened. It seems the hacker will not get the stolen funds. They will be returned. |

I think bitcoin will continue to be a leader crypto coin. however the it, bitcoin is the main initiator of crypto coin. bitcoin has the same strength as the dollar in the real world. I guess etherum not replace bitcoin digital crtpto coin in the world.
I completely agree. Bitcoin is the future King, but ETH will have its part in the kingdom They will coexist. They are quite unique. Each has its own function. The bitcoin is the first popular digital currency, it has many users. The Etheruem is the first fuel for smart contracts. These two have highest market cap, it is better to hold both. But the ratio of the holding is quite difficult to decide. After the recent DAO crisis, there is a concern about the Ethereum now. It will take some time to recover. I think the Ethereum programs/codes need to be audited properly. It should be more roubust in the future. Some of the big holder of the Ethereum and DAO are developers themselves. Does it indicate they are not very competent? The programming of software is very difficult, there is always bug. So the software has to be tested throughly. |

I have the Paypal account. When I buy and sell things on Ebay, it is very useful. I use bitcoin when a website accepts it.

If the annual inflation is less than the world economy growth, I think that is deflationary currency.
And looks centrally controlled,too. No real need to change fiat into as store of value.... What do you think the intereset of PoS of Ethereum should be? Less than 1% a year for the 100 years? |

bitcoin is the future of crypto whether you like it or not, and it is on its way. but that doesn't mean nothing else can be in this future alongside bitcoin!
Saying Bitcoin is the "future of crypto"... Is like saying gold is the "future of money". Bitcoin will always be a good store of value, but as a real-life currency it's failed. The bitcoin is not being used as a real-life currency. But the infrastructure is being built, it will be used in the future. |
