For me the big pointer that BCX was full of shit was when none of his fanboys (or himself) could post a link to any examples of him "destroying" any coin. Dude hasn't destroyed a coin in his life.

It seems clear to me too that he was only banking on the 500 btc bet.

Keepass cannot be stored on the internet easily.
Huh Huh? It's very easy.

After an in-depth review of the Bitcoin industry in Australia, including our own business, the market, our competitors and the legal landscape, we have decided to temporarily close our doors whilst we work on new and improved offerings. When we re-launch, we will provide our customers with greatly streamlined, faster and more convenient services.

You sound kind of narcissistic naming this coin after yourself

Jesse Livermore is probably the most famous trader in the world. JL simply appropriated his name.

Hi, I donated 10 xmr several days ago when the bcx drama had just started. Messaged cAPSLOCK but no reply?

Yawn.. this isn't nearly as entertaining as I thought it would be.

Is Monero being attacked or not? If someone is performing a TW attack is there any way to tell?

From my experience with time warps attacks it takes a couple of days before the symptoms start to occur, but when they do....the chaos is sweet.

~BCX~

Oh, so, like, 72 hours or so? Rightio.  Roll Eyes

EDIT: Maybe you could discuss the fix with one of the other core members (or rpietila), I think most of them appreciate what you're doing here.

None of them take me seriously. I am tired of this shit.

You are missing the part where I spent hours (and little sleep) with you going over your work on Sybil attacks and the part (which I posted several hours ago) where I said that I thought you had improved on our work. Very odd.

If you want to offer assistance, it is welcome. If you don't want to help, don't. Either way we could do with a little less drama.

I rather fancy the idea of publishing the sender of (most) every ring signature on the block chain instead at a future date of my choosing.

I warned you don't fuck with me.

I will make sure BBR has the mitigation ready assuming they are still cooperative with me and they don't give my mitigation to XMR.

You are not dealing with BCX any more. You are dealing with me. Capice.

Lol. Play nice.

Brilliant, just brilliant.  Grin Happy that the btc price worked in your favour too.  Cool
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DSH] Dashcoin - (CPU mining, true anonymity, automated source code) on: September 17, 2014, 08:18:55 AM
What for? Dashcoin brings nothing unique.
Litecoin brings nothing unique. Dogecoin brings nothing unique. Monero and Ducknote brings nothing unique. It is the set of people that makes the coin. The activity of the owners is what gives value.

From the OP:

Why mirror image is better than self sustained fork?
The reason is simple - costs. Self sustained forks demand a lot of development time, if you want to build a well maintained cryptocurrency. And if the network grows, the required development time is likely to grow too.
A simpler, and less costly way to maintain a network with high reliability is to create a self mutating copy of it. Mutating copy is a simple copy of the original source, mutating every time the original source mutates.

Even more - such a process can be automated!

Tell me, what is it exactly that you do?
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero Support on: September 11, 2014, 07:42:56 AM
Why do you guys have so many different support topics and shill accounts here ?

Why do you have maxcoin in your signature? Why do the tides go in and out? No one can explain that.

i have MaxCoin in my sig because i support the coin and the tides go in and out because of the gravitational pull of the moon.
anything else you want to know ?

Maybe because he also supports XMR.

Nope. XMR hodling has no influence on the tides.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Shouldn't We Put a Bounty on satoshin@gmx.com Hacker? on: September 09, 2014, 12:19:46 PM
Has it been confirmed yet whether he has truly hacked the email or just registered it after expiring?

Yes it's been confirmed. Jesus.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Shouldn't We Put a Bounty on satoshin@gmx.com Hacker? on: September 09, 2014, 09:08:35 AM
Why shouldn't we start a fund raiser to collect 50 BTC and offer it as bounty to whoever tracks and shoots this hacker?

Because it's illegal, I'm pretty sure.

Edit: IANAL
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you stumbled on access to the satoshin@gmx.com account? on: September 09, 2014, 09:02:44 AM
I would've pranked the hell out of Theymos.

devs are really honest and reliable professionals who do their job well
Developer is crazy about his idea and consults with the community. We all see this.

The dev last posted on the 7th and even then it was to apologise for not being around previously. This was it:

By the way, how long does MCN have this logo? no thoughts to change it?

Do you have any ideas for new one? Do we need a logo contest?

To all: sorry for not answering your questions for so long. I'm back from unexpected trip and ready to support you and to continue coin development and promotion.
