Although with smart contract etherum as escrow there is jg possibility of misuse either it is fraud or bring away investor money Which I ask with Hard cap why only 10 days do crowdsale Of course when you buy tokens in such a sale it is like any other crowdsale, you have to check the team and their track record. I built and sold 5+ companies some of which have $20+mil in revenue. MIT alumni, family in New York... a certain reputation. I've seen this project on youtube and it's awesome. Very futuristic project and it is perfect for the office, restaurants, coffee shop or even at home. I was really amazed in it's concept and purpose. A user friendly and a super multitasking project that makes me say like, Wow! I've only seen this project in movies but now it's real.
Thank you so much. The key is in the computer vision. Other similar systems use infrared sensors that can detect human fingers on a room-temperature background. Or 3d sensors using lasers that can detect object size. Because we use just a normal smart phone camera we can detect room temperature objects on room temperature background ( a pen on a table !) or flat objects on a surface ( a piece of paper on a table !). But to make this work we need to train a computer to recognize objects. Think like a baby: you show them a paper and say paper!. The baby answers goo gaa gaa. You show again and say paper. Baby says paaaa. Again, again , again, papee, papeeeeer. Until you get PAPER. Then you move on to... pen. So we need the help from the crowd to source a lot of images with description we can show , not only to Lampix apps, but to anybody else who is trying to use computer vision in other environments or for other applications. It's a LOT of work. But we demonstrated with thousands of pictures of fingers that we can reach 99% accuracy in detection if we have pictures in the same conditions where you measure (aka same light, and similar background) So we need... a LOT OF PICTURES, with descriptions. That's a hefty amount but if the ROI is fast. That's not bad. Or maybe earn some PIX tokens in some ways to acquire this device.  But need to know also the strategies on how to operate this device in maximizing its potential. Our calculations show that a LAMPIX device used for mining 4h per day 20 days per month will probably earn about 2,000 PIX George Popescu CEO Lampix Can it operate 24hours, 7 days a week, like nonstop? Or there's drawback of doing mining such like that? Like utilizing the GPU mining equipment. So as to earn more PIX tokens. Have you done any failure analysis for Lampix device? As this one has been on the works for a while already. It requires for a human to place objects under it and take pictures. So it can if you hire 3 shifts, 3 people working each 8h a day. This mining is more like content / user content generation mining. It's not machine only. It requires a human to do something each picture. Failure analysis: of course. We have built so far 6 generations of Lampix so we keep improving it. The one in my office behind me has been working non stop, ( not unplugged) for 2 months now. |

Whole new concept of mining video presentation looking very impressive just watched. looking forward beta version to test it out on my cell phone I think before launch of ICO this will be amazing and more people would like to be part of this new project.

Picture mining? Wow, that's a new and unique idea!
Yes, it's true that electricity consumption is one of the main factors to consider in mining.
And that's the reason why I stopped mining for now. My ROI is very small and the heat generated is not good to endure with.

Thanks! Yes we structured the pricing so that you can earn back the cost of a Lampix device in about 2 months of mining images with a Lampix device and then it's all profit from there . Of course you don't have to use a Lampix device to mine, you can build your own rig as well. And once you have a Lampix you can also use it for gaming, work, etc... Imagine if 20 years ago you could buy a desktop PC and earn your money back by minining crypto in 2 months. Oh and we can in the future enlarge this mining beyond just images...
