21  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the Ransomware problem? on: December 04, 2016, 02:40:19 AM
Hackers will use the easiest form of transaction that gives them the most protection from being caught. Really not a bitcoin issue, the concept you are thinking of would be against the idea of bitcoin.
You do not hear the same drama about itunes cards and yet they are often used in the same manner. Take a step back and ask why the media is pushing the ransomware/bitcoin narrative.
22  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Regulatory Pressure Forces BitLendingClub to Close on: December 04, 2016, 01:38:58 AM
Tired of reporting this member who farms multiple accounts for posting in the wrong forum.
He can not write good English but has found a gray area to not get in trouble. Issue is he never comes back to respond od discuss. Does not care that this is being discussed already in another thread and is the cause of a lot of spam.
Often you can find the stories in press and it creates more clutter.
If he did this on one account it would not be a big deal but there is at least two other members that use the same tactic. Between the three members they have who knows how many accounts they have!
Would be nice to get this dealt with or at least contained.

Sorry for the rant, its been bugging me for a well now.
23  Economy / Gambling / Re: fortunejack site is going to close? on: December 04, 2016, 01:17:40 AM
Transactions in and out are always fast, its the one thing I wish other sites could copy.
But I have never understood what people are playing on the site to say its tbe best.
Poker is mostly Argentinian players and nothing runs at a level close to 50NL. They do not add to the tables, sitngoes are now dead.
Dice clearly is still having issues and I do not get into any form of online casino play. Guess each his own in that aspect.
If they ever added 2Nl to 100Nl the site would be amazing but it seems happy as is.
24  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: December 04, 2016, 12:58:12 AM
Its one of those lines a get rich guys tell people in their seminars. My neighbor is constantly listening to get rich garbage. He is always tapped financially because he thinks he is smarter than every one else and is going to be rich. Always on some get rich scheme. These guys talk a good game but its just to part people from their money.
25  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain wallet will allow credit and debit card funding on: December 04, 2016, 12:45:25 AM
At first I was reading this topic and my first impression was great and wondered like others if you could then withdraw the same way.
After thinking about it, I realized this is actually a very bad thing to happen. We will not be turning back once implemented and banks will either start locking peoples accounts or blockchain will comply with all the rules in order to achieve this feature.
Really do not see the anon aspect being allowed in this manner, which means blockchain has already thought this through and have their ducks in a row.
With so many using this as their main or only wallet, we are in trouble!
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: The country with the highest demand for gold just outlawed gold. Shit got real. on: December 04, 2016, 12:24:45 AM
How are they going to achieve this and 500 grams would be a lot for most rural Indians I woul presume.
The interesting part for me, is Indias push in the financial dynamics. Its a big issue to rope in, if they do its going to really change India.
27  Other / Politics & Society / Re: #PIZZAGATE Arrests in Canada, 400 Children Rescued! on: December 04, 2016, 12:18:40 AM
I've been following the rise of #PIZZAGATE and Podesta email leaks on 4chan, never did I think that this would rise up to be of this scale. Dayum...

You have any links from 4chan? I rarely visit there and when I do its overwhelming.

Was wondering why I did not see anything on this, it happened in 2013 and I recall this being a global sting and not solely Canada. It does puzzle me to know that there are so many pedophiles out there.
I talk to older folks in there eighties to reflect on stuff like this and it sounds like it was always a issue. Reason I state that is it sometimes looks like the buggers are growing in numbers.
Part of me worries that this pedophile stuff is making in roads to be excepted on a very slow moving agenda. Was just recently they started pointing to brain tumors for why some people go down this road and they are constantly trying to get their porn seen as art, so they are not thrown in jail for it.
Having had a relative preyed on, I say lets load these bastards on a Island and charge people to hunt them down like safari trophies.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patent trolling in the Bitcoin world on: December 03, 2016, 10:42:37 PM
Its fair game as long as they are not altering the way bitcoin operates and this is more how I perceive them wanting to conduct business in the long run. These styles of companies are always factoring in ways they can control to increase profits, its pretty much how most companies work,so for that reason we should be keeping some eyes on any one attempting to patent lock any form of bitcoin business.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From your own selfish perspective, where do you want bitcoin to end up? on: December 03, 2016, 10:28:49 PM
Not really to into the ups and downs of bitcoin, would rather see a stabilized price so that people are not getting dinged on their first interaction with bitcoin. For mass adoption I would think these swings need to be addressed as they are clearly manipulations of the market.
So I would also like to see a day when people did not have to worry about a credit score dictating their lot in life or having to grovel for a loan. Economics sets so many peoples path or direction early on,it would be interesting to see a world without these fences.
30  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: December 03, 2016, 04:58:02 PM
Signature members are now doing the advertising for the site? Not like this is a shock watching this thread over some time but you think they would advertise their own promos in their own thread. I think a site suffering from optic issues would be more on the ball. Add the issue with the dice that people are addressing here and I think I will pass.

If you are not interested with it then you should just skip this and just walk away. There is no reason to skip this kind of promotions. You do the math, this is totally +EV so most if not all will end up in profit after achieveing the requirement for the wagering, and of course all those issue you mentioned are most solved

History is the number one aspect of any companies standings and FortuneJack has had issues in the past with promotions.
Watching this and making sure things do not get to sideways but if you look in the actual promo thread it looks like the requirements are being altered and we are already on the 3rd!
Not partaking in the promo but I do use the dice from time to time because it works on my mobile the smoothest, see I am not all doom and gloom. Cheesy

As for the optics its clear that people in the signature feel they have to come in and defend Fortunejack in a manner that makes them look more like employees than members of a forum enjoying a perk. Fortunejack should address this with the signature users because it at times look like the people are shilling and it makes the sites reputation a bit murky.
Having issues with other promotions and the overzealous nature of some signature members is a combo that I think could easily be fixed. A easy search of signature members like yourself lays out a very clear picture.

Could you please add some PLO Hi/Lo tables to your poker room? Right now the PLO8 tab is empty, although I have seen some tables up and running in the past.

The stakes I personally would like to see is 0.5/1, 1/2 and 2/4 mBTC.

They seem to be limited in what they can add to the cash games due to it being a skin or Red Poker Argentina(name may be off).
Otherwise I am sure they would have added lower NL limits as well.
31  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: FORTUNEJACK ☆★☆ GIVEAWAY ☆★☆ Win up to 0.04 BTC 💰 on: December 03, 2016, 04:34:48 PM

Please note that you can only be eligible for a prize after you have met the requirement. So please only post once you have met wagering requirements, members who post username and plan to wager later won't be rewarded.

Also, please note that you will be rewarded with the amount that you are eligible for at the time of original post, without edits or updates.

We will update the original post shortly with winners' usernames.

Thank you for participating in our giveaway!

is this rule applicable to participants prior to your post? if not then it's totally unfair.

Reason I quoted them to start, they are notorious for changing the rules of their promotions. Still not clear if the total of bets needs to equal the amount stated or if it is one wager of that amount. They seem to have danced around explaining this part. Over/Under on people pissed off after finding out they do not qualify?

32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Patent trolling in the Bitcoin world on: December 03, 2016, 03:32:02 AM
They really have bitcoin in their heart when they go at it in this manner, bloody leeches!
It will be interesting claiming any form of ownership when they can show no connections to satoshi, but these patent cases are usually something else.
Sad reading companies attempting to hijack bitcoin.

Quoting for future reference

i want to know if i wagered more than 0.6 so how much will i get the prize ? is just 0.04 or 0.07 because i already passed the 0.2 and 0.4

They left a out in this promo as usual by not defining if they mean .2 in one wager or multiple wagers.
Do not be fooled, when it comes to gambling sites this is often on purpose. Think they should come back and clarify before the rope a dope more people into depositing to chase this promo.

36  Economy / Gambling / Re: ◥◤ NitrogenSports ◢ Largest & Most Trusted BTC Sportsbook ◣ Mega MMA Promo ◥◤ on: December 02, 2016, 05:54:46 PM
3 hours and 9  confirms not yet deposited into account and staff says it's Blockchains fault... avoid right now no deposits or withdrawals going out

Avoid this site !!!

That was actually a blockchain issue and not a site issue. Had multiple transactions all stalled due to the backup on different sites.
======================================================================

Saw that you guys are changing the rules for play on the site to one confirmation, with the above issue is this something that you think will help the site?
Understand it makes it less of heavy load for you guys to just have the customer wait but the problem is many players are transacting in small windows and will take their business to sites that allow play before one confirmation.
Would rather see you jam the player on the way out than the way in if you are going to implement a system like this.
Meaning that if I bet on a NHL game (roughly 2.5 hours) you can stall my withdraw till you get that one confirmation or more if needed. This allows the players to get the action in without worrying about being stalled and missing that game.
Same would go for poker and dice, just seems like bad timing to start limiting transactions with competition opening up more options.

37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK gold mint to use blockchain tech on: December 01, 2016, 07:02:59 PM
Just need to trust that the gold is there I guess when you buy the crypto amount. Cheesy
This is really a win win for them as they will never have to prove they have that gold and if the world does go crazy they can just unplug and walk away. I always assume gold is for that day we start eating each other,so I tend to keep my focus on end of days when its a matter of gold to get out alive or die.
Its interesting that they are doing this, thought it would be more a way to keep track of gold, since it does seem to go missing in large amounts.

Or you can just wait at a truck and walk off with a bucket of gold flake. Roll Eyes
38  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Skrill Allows BTC now? on: December 01, 2016, 05:41:57 PM
I am always confused as to why these sites always offer better service in the U.K and America and limit the use for Canadians. Always thought we had more lacks laws when it came to these things.
Forget which one of these sites it was but they sent me notice for inactivity and I logged into see the amount on there. Not much but there was little options to spend it in a manner that was worth while.
These sites got cracked down on with the poker scene and maybe Canada is still looking at them in that limelight and ignoring that other Countries are back to working with them. Only thing I can think of for the lack of options here.

Its a good thing for you guys even if the rates are initially high. It could create lower rates in other areas and force them to correct.
39  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looks like BitLendingClub/LoanBase is closing on: November 30, 2016, 11:27:30 PM
Regulative suppression was bound to happen,my big gripe is how unsafe every customers details are now that they are going out of business.
Actually not to sad to see sites like this go to way side anyways,it attracted a real leech element on both sides of the operations.
40  Other / Meta / Re: Can One have charity donation collection through this forum?? on: November 30, 2016, 09:35:17 PM
Most places that we could use for tax purposes would contradict bitcoin being anonymous.
The signature and faucets suffice for the most part anything more serious tends to get bogged down in red tape or administration fees. Reason I am very limited in who I donate to know,as many of these places are just to upper heavy in the management aspect.

From what I see here and in the bitcoin realm, most people are trying to get rich, rather than actually help pull others out of the gutter.
