I thought so. Showing how the blockchain tech disrupts the rules we know so far. Wrong I got free ETC cus I had some ETH on an exchange.
Sure, I did too. But they weren't "free". What I'm saying is that the 250M market cap of ETC didn't "appear" overnight for free. The money came from the ETH capitalization. |

Remember holders of Ethereum when the fork happened got the same
number of ETC free. Another fork could do the same if the original chain
is continued.
Why would anyone want to keep the original chain ? They're fixing exploits. Btw, the ETC weren't free. Their worth came directly from ETHs' value. |

When can people understand? we don't give a freak about ETH this and ETH that because we didn't invest on the freaking ETH.

We will get dividends on our ICN, if there is a profit in ICNPICNF As I understand dividends will come only from performance fund. Or am I wrong? No, they'll come from all funds through performance fees - if applicable - and platform fees - applicable no matter what -. The only difference which sets apart the PERF.funds from the others to come is that it's partially owned by the platform, so for this fund alone, dividends will also come from actual profit of the fund. |

Out of 3508 ICO investors, 75% of all available ICN worth $9.30M total is held by 582 people
Out of 3508 ICO investors, 2926 are splitting only 10% of all available ICN worth $1.25M among themselves.This looks to me like the majority of the ICN is being held by deep pocket people as a long term investment. I predict a relatively small proportion of total ICN is going to be on the exchanges. A shortage on the exchanges should mean a higher price. To da moon for ICN! In that case, I'm glad to inform you what would have been your reasoning before a 50K investement... ... if you had had any. (?) A friend that is quiet good in Krypto Trading (he bought a house alone after ETH Trading) have told me i should invest 50k. after ico he tell x2 is nothing so i have 100k. 90k i take after x2 and 10k he told i should let in for the next year. And your friend is probably right. When I see those kind of strategies from one of the top holders, I'm not so reassured knowing that only 12 people hold 25% of the supply and 68 people hold 50% ... |

Hey, First, your ICNs won't be invested in the ICNX, so you won't get any money directly from the INDEX rise. If you want to, you would have to invest directly in the ICNX. Second, no way to calculate that for now. Your ICN will bring you money from the fees collected on the funds. The more money in the funds, the bigger the dividends. What's good with the rise is that it will attract more and more investors, thus bringing fees to the platform, and dividends to you. But if my ICN are not invested why should i buy ICN? Or must I invest with these ICN in ICNX? Please read the whitepaper. Most of your questions will be answered there. Looks like you dont understand what ICONOMI is all about. I read it two times and i cant find anythink about investing in the Funds, how to invest and how to be paid... If you find it send me please the Page Number. Never saw such a bet whitepaper. Technical details on the funds are not released yet. They're scheduled to be delivered during Q4.  No detalis and they got 10mil Euro?? Are the investeros stupid or what? I think next time i make also a ICO. Whitepaper 9 Pages with nothing and i think 1mil i get without any Problem. After 2 weeks i close because of ETH Network problems. Then, do yourself a favor and research a bit about how FIAT works today, how investment in securities work today (and how "profitable" they are) and how much time you figure it will stay this way before the whole thing collapses again. It's a middle to long term bet, hoping that the platform will end up handling so much money that the fees will bring multiple times the initial investment in dividends. Forever. ICNX is "only" the platform's flagship product, along with the PERF.fund. I don't think investment of ICNs in ICNX will be allowed. You'll be able to enter using FIAT or other cryptos. More info will be coming when the team opens it. |

Pretty good news btw : ICNX is starting to recover. That's good publicity. No problem with delaying the genesis, as long as it goes smoother, and the index is rising.  |

So we are delaying distribution because it might be difficult for some people to send tokens to an exchange as fast as possible?
It is a problem. But as I said before "least of a problem, but to consider". So. You release smart contract tomorrow ? Most likely today. With dummy distribution in order for anyone who entered their own address can check if he can access it. I can't think of any better way right now to do that. Yay. This way sounds great ! |

From ICONOMI delay blog post on medium: As a substantial number of ICONOMI ICO investors intend to move ICN tokens to exchanges, we do not want to launch into an environment where investors might have to wait an excessive period of time to access ICN tokens; furthermore, this might also hinder the listing of ICN tokens at exchanges. This is a no sense, first do the genesis then, also after month you can hit the exchange. Like a lot of project have done in the past years. Devs are trolling us or are they so unpreparated? No one is trolling. Factors you should consider: - gas/network... least of a problem, but to consider - unsynced wallets of some users. problem to a certain degree. i have synced one, you might have it too. we had quite some support email with that issue. there are also few posts here regarding that. all users should have same starting position (or close to all) - people inputting addresses of exchanges / jaxx wallets / who knows what else (see in this thread only). this is worrisome because it can mean that someone might burn ICN completely. and when not burned there will be tons of questions how to get ICNs back. The last one is where we got caught unprepared. Instructing users how to prepare for ICN. You should had posted which wallet you recommend that people should use with the pictures you had there on the blog in the first place and something that confirms that you did set it up correctly. If that was done days ago, there would had been less problems. And the fact that there are so many people with problems, it probably means that alot of people didnt get the message properly or that the guide isn't good enough. What is wrong with people withdrawing to exchanges? As long as the exchange added Iconomi, it shouldn't be a problem, or should it? Just like withdrawing rep or any other ethereum based coin to polo should be fine as far as I'm concerned. Myetherwallet or mist will probably provide a same type of address anyway. Can you please clarify this? The problem is no exchange confirmed adding ICN yet. Therefore, there is no 'ICN deposit option' on exchanges yet. So what kind of exchange adresses do you think those users put in their ICN account ?? Eth ones ? Btc ones ? Those tokens would just end up lost forever.. I wouldn't mind decreasing the supply already but I think those investors would. |
