NOOB question:
I use managed miner with IP (like: 192.168.15.XX) I am trying to use host becouse sometimes my RIP IP's changes (In this example, my host is: FOR003).
But using hiveos, the AM does not conect using host. Only using IP adreess works..
Is there something special to write on AM to work?
Example:
Remote Agent IP or Hostname: 192.168.15.XX (Works) Remote Agent IP or Hostname: FOR003 (does not work)
Can anyone helpme?
If Windows can resolve the hostname, Awesome Miner should also be able to resolve the hostname. What happens if you ping the hostname via a Windows command prompt? Is it resolving the the correct IP address? On windows, ping works only on IP, on putty, ping works with hostname.. I think it is not a AM question...

Warning! Do not try this at home, I believe this is only for the qualified people out there, don't have the mind that you can do the same thing or else you will end up killing your graphic cards with your own hand, I'm wondering how much they are buying the 8gb VRAm chips for, won't that even be more costly? I think it will be valid to get 2 4gb rx 570/580 and make one 8gb. But for sure if I try to do this in my home, i will kill both cards.

Hello, On my farm I Have GPU's and ASIC's.
My license: Your current license: Professional Edition (10 miners)
On my ASIC's I have the AM firmware (LTC's ASIC's)
On your website it is saying:
Mining fee The firmware has a mining fee of either 2% or 3% (on average a bit lower, about 1.8% and 2.8%) The mining fee is based on a parallel mining concept to avoid any interruptions to the normal mining The firmware with a 3% mining fee includes an Awesome Miner license and doesn't consume any of the licenses available in Awesome Miner. This makes it possible to run Awesome Miner and Cloud Services without paying anything for the license as long as the firmware with a 3% mining fee is being used.
But I am tryng to acces cloud services and it is saying that I don't have the subscription plan..
How Can I solve this?

I am using linux.
I want to know if it is possible to mine ETH and RVN on my rig at the same time.
The ideia is to Mine ETH with 8gb cards and RVN on my 4GB cards, is it possible on a single rig using AM?
You can configure a Managed Miner to only make use of specific GPUs. If you setup two Managed Miners, you can have one for ETH and another one for RVN. In the Properties of the Managed Miner, you will find the "GPU selection", where you select the GPUs to use. Tks, I had tryed this way, but for some reason (at least on linux) AM get lost to select the GPU's. Example: I have i rig and 2 GPU's On miner 1: select GPU 0 (Temredminer - ETH) On miner 2: select GPU 1 (Temredminer - RVN) When start the miner 1, it starts ok! When start the miner 2, it trys to use the same GPU that is already used on miner 2 and gets 511 temp. I will do more tests on my miners, maybe it is a rig problem....

I have problem with PheonixMiner OC in Ethos ...
phoenixminer=flags -mode 1 -proto 2 -wdtimeout 300 -gt 43 -cclock 1150,1257,1150,1150,1257,1257 -mclock 2100,2100,2100,2100,2100,2100 -cvddc 875 -mvddc 875

In ethos stats I have this ...
default_core: 1340 1340 1340 1340 1340 1340 default_mem: 1750 2000 1750 1750 2000 2000 vramsize: 8 8 8 8 8 8 core: 1340 1340 1340 1340 1340 1340 mem: 1750 2000 1750 1750 2000 2000
So, why won`t my RX580 OC ? Something in miner config, but I don`t know what ...
On ETHOS try to go to config (home/ETHOS/local.conf) And set: cor 1150 1150 1150 1150 1150 1150 mem 2100 2100 2100 2100 2100 2100

In Main TAB/ Miners I can see all tempetures (one by one) on columm STATUS. On Colum PERFORMANCE I only can see the total os hashrate. To see each one hash (by GPU) I have to go to GPU TAB after select the miner.
Is there a way to see one by one ? (so i did not have to select the miner to see what GPU is low hash)
Please, is it possible? it will help a lot.. This feature is currently not available. I can add this to the "Information column" (configurable in the toolbar Appearance -> Information column) in the next release. You will then be able to add "Device hashrate" (not available today). Tks a lot, it will be a nice addition to AM!!

does anyone know:
1) how to see the current driver version on ETHOS 1.3.3 2) how to upgrade/downgrade the AMD drivers
Tks
Whats causing you trouble? Ive had no real problems have had to move a few off claymore due to not all cards firing. Loaded up Phoenix (5.1c) works fine with my rx5xx cards andven my vegas(will be moving those to a new rig with 5700xts)....just curios. because ive not had any issues with the drivers. Just curious. My plan is to keep ethos going as long as i can....its been a real workhorse. And its all paid for. The only problem that I found is not a problem, but a better performence using 20.3 drivers on HIVEOS against ETHOS (some cards are faster on HIVEOS - Same config)
