wow, I never ear that Italy is with trouble too, looks like all EU is doomed.... I think we will have another crash, much more worse that the 2008, dont know if it will italy, but all major countrys are in trouble

I buy bitcoin because I believe the crypto is THE asset of the future, dont know if bitcoin will remain the number 1, but I am sure that one of this new projects will, and bitcoin even not beeing the number one will be allways on top 5

ETH is not token only blockchain, the attack vector is waaaaaaay bigger, I have serious doubts about the scability of the project, but its something worth watching and learn about

the best way to speed up may be download the raw blockchain and import it after.. getmonero.org use to have it avaliable, dont know if it is now...

For me LTC is dying, there is no propose on this coin anymore, not asic resistent as it was supost to be
DOGE is the meme coin, will still live as it IMO

I usualy use xmr.to to pay with monero, but you should be able to pay with any coin supported by shapeshift
|

The hardest to shutdown is the ones with the more powerfull and descentralised mining, the problem is that with the time the mining is becoming more and more centralised... I heard that monero has plans to implement smartmining making every people running the official software a miner, hope that it bring some descentralising to the table

IMO zcash is a good technology, just sad for it not be an all comunity cryptocurrencie like cryptocurrencies show be... Instead is an company coin, it take off the descentralise of crypto

Monero - The true fungible cryptocurrencie
Ethereum - if it can survive all the forks may be the best option for Smartcontracts, but im not sure :\
