We need to set up the VR greenpoint as soon as possible! Communication will be so much easier there. Bitcointalk has been horrible the last days. Goes down all the time.

While the ETH price went a bit lower, with the pump of ETH that means that the USD price went up significantly, and in the end that's what matters for me.

It's just a random newbie account with 14 posts and terrible grammar. I have no idea why they bother. If you can't even put capital letters at the beginning of sentences, you're doubtfully much of a businessman.

Well why not? I suppose you can make a cool wallpaper or something and get rewarded with MVT. As far as I know there will be a signature campaign. Dropper said in a DM that it will most likely follow after the creativity campaign. However no actual ETA for a signature campaign can be given at this point.

It's not any type of investment, unless you count retaining the value of your portfolio relatively stable an investment strategy, but you have Tether USD for that. It's volatility is not big, I'll give it that much, but since the banks behind it got into a disagreement i doubt you'll see any big advancements done with it and thus the price won't go much higher than what it is. Plus it's not one of these coins where lack of supply would create demand and drive the price up. There's plenty of XRP on the markets and more will be coming in as this coin is periodically "minted" in large quantities.

Can't say I'm too sad about things being stagnant with Ripple. I don't like the idea of such a centralized currency controlled by banks in the first place.

The VR Greenpoint is being built as far as we know and for certain reasons we can't see what it will be like at this moment, but that's something that the dev/dev team is working on. It's not something we should be worrying about at this time, since as far as I remember The Movement has already bought a large piece of "land" there and it's not necessary for the community to do anything more in that direction. I suppose the dev will build the foundation(not exactly sure how things work there) and then we'll come in as a community and develop the place by giving it its face. This community will basically live there as far as I know. This doesn't mean that there won't be BTT presence by The Movement, but the majority of discussions and decision taking will probably take place in the Greenpoint.

You can read about this in the whitepaper, but for now the priority is launching the bounty program. We will likely start seeing VR progress after the bounty program is up and running, can't say at what time.

It will be reached. Not many ICOs start with a ready alpha version of the product. The social platform alpha will be ready very soon and it's already looking very good. This will be more than enough to show people that this is a serious project, and thus the soft cap will be reached easily.

Just got a PM from Dropper about the upcoming bounty program. It's about to launch very soon apparently. Its first stage will be the so called Creativity Campaign where people will be encouraged to create. Afterwards a signature campaign will follow most likely and after that who knows.

Has anyone mentioned bittrex at all? I thought the general consensus was that we need exactly one of those small-medium exchanges to list us in order to

1. Have a place for weak hands and dumpers to get rid of their tokens and seize being a factor in the project. Also to stabilize the price.
2. Get the attention of more people for the token and the project.
3. Generate enough volume so we can get listed on coinmarketcap.com, thus reaching out to even more potential investors.

Most importantly we need to make the next step in the development of the VR greenpoint I guess.

Yea! Just yesterday he transferred some tokens to the wallet he uses for CAVO32. He's even still posting on this thread with both his accounts

I think the project's biggest mistake so far is the fact AmoreJaz wasn't removed from the founding members list. He clearly displayed hostility towards The Movement more than a month ago when he was crying that he wanted his tokens "NAO". He obviously got quiet for a while just to be sure he receives tokens during the airdrop and look at him now. Spewing badly spelled and grammatically incorrect profanities and obscenities at us all, not even googling the correct spelling of words he's not sure of

In the interest of the community and the project I propose that we refrain from answering this guy, cause he obviously doesn't read, care our understand. I don't know since he sure as hell can't write, maybe he can't read either. However there's no point in starting a flame war on this thread, not with him at least so from now on I'll be ignoring his nonsensical posts

I wonder what will take for some people to understand that the 300 000 MVT address is holding tokens for our bounty campaign and is aimed at enlarging our community and increasing the popularity of the project. Seems like we can repeat that an endless amount of times and it's like they don't even read the thread.

You can clearly see here that the biggest token holder is the bounty address, and it's just 10% of the total tokens. Often new coins would have up to 50% premine and usually in an ICO the developers would hold at least 10%, quite often much more and not for bounty purposes, but for themselves, so I can't see how this is a problem. The second biggest holder is EtherDelta, because people are putting their tokens there to trade. After that it's us - the founding members. For now we don't have any huge whales and I think that's good.

Maybe it's really too early to talk about getting ourselves listed on a normal exchange. It would be nice if the developer could help with that, otherwise it would have to be a community effort and we're still not quite ready for this I think. We could probably each donate some $10 worth of ETH or BTC and easily collect enough to cover the fee for mercatox, but most of the 500 founding members won't probably even read the thread to inform themselves if we undertake such a step let alone take part(I hope I'm wrong about that) not to mention someone would have to collect these funds and he'd have to be trusted by the community.
Would be even better if there is advancement on the development of the VR greenpoint. We could have discussions about the project and make decisions there. Not to mention that if the project moves, the price will move too.

If we want to add The Movement to coinmarketcap.com it needs to have at least $10 000 daily volume on some exchange. The dumpers on EtherDelta can't even get close to that yet. Can we get it listed on something like Cryptopia for example?

As of now I'm not even sure that EtherDelta has listed MVT officially. It's not in the coin/token pairs list and it's not listed with the MVT ticker, but as The Movement instead.

Once we get on a proper exchange, even a small one the price will quickly rise and stabilize because most of the day 1 dumpers will quickly run out of tokens to sell. There aren't many MVT tokens to begin with and most of the dumpers don't have that much themselves.

At the moment I wouldn't even talk about a formed price. There are only a few sporadic trades, because the token is new and EtherDelta isn't too user friendly and popular. There isn't even 100% functionality when trading MVT there.

Wow! Look at all the losers immediately selling their 1000-2000 tokens on EtherDelta for $0.01 a piece Not to worry though, as they will run out of them at a certain point.

I was thinking of selling some of my 23K myself to buy VR equipment so I can join in the greenpoint development, but I guess I won't be selling a single one at these prices. Let's hope at least one proper exchange lists us soon. Maybe Liqui or something like that.

Any idea when can we expect to see our token on Coin Market Cap?


Like somebody said one is the address of the contract with the tokens that still haven't been distributed. The other is the 300 000 MVT bounty fund. The first one will probably disappear soon. The other one will likely stay untouched for some time since the bounty campaigns haven't take off yet.
