Not vaporware, the project and the team is legit. The market conditions did not allow them to continue as there was a big struggle between new and old chips and the feasibility of them. Now project is abviously on hold due to market. |

From what I heard the hashrate of Avalon A911 is 18TH/s @ 1440Watt.

That's no Canaan PSU, it's a PSU from one of PSU factory suppliers.
We never received a single Avalon Miner in blue foil. Just standard Canaan box with 2 foam pieces.
They changed the fan from 120mm to 135 or 140mm also the fans pulls now up to 4,9Amps and has no standard 4pin plug but a squared 4 pin plug. The changed fan increased also the max db to like 80-85db.

Just received Miner, short testing shows we can get following at the wall values: (I have to point out that we tested them very shortly ~1-2hours)voltage -2 = ~1830Watt @20TH/s voltate 0 = ~2040 @21,1TH/s more testing to follow asap.        |

We had about 45min call with them, guys seems very nice and serious. It seems like currently they are focusing on Japan market and need some more time for sample for international market.
We will update as we know more, maybe we will talk to a japanese friend of ours to reach also out to them and check company in person.

i do 16.8 with my s9's... (true; at 1670W, but at 1/3th of the purchase price...)
i hoped on better hashrates, as many others also have higher hashrates (at more power..)
yeah, I guess better things to come with Avalon A941 then. Meanwhile we can offer offer this machine right now. Yes, but who would even consider to buy it...? Currently this machine is rougly same level as Inno but cheaper. Whatsminer can not be legally imported to Europe due to missing certificats. So this makes it the best availavle hardware for european market right now. |
