21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Caleb Plant vs Caleb Truax IBF Super Middleweight Title on: January 14, 2021, 02:57:03 PM
Traux is good but i think Plant can win this one, obviously he has way more knockouts and punching power, while Traux can only rely on points and take it to a decision. I have doubts that Caleb Plant would give Canelo a hard time though, if he decided to pursue him after this fight. It's not like he have fought the elites such as Mayweather and GGG. Either way interesting to see a heavy hitter and undefeated take on a Canelo alvarez, because the Callum match ended in disappointment.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino on: January 13, 2021, 03:00:42 PM
Is there something else you wanted to share that is almost cheat free? Reading the OP seems most or all of them are gambler that cheated the casino. I think I'll be more inspired to people who never quits gambling yet manage to hit their lucks.

There is, although they've won from sports betting: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5263144.0

Couldn't find the thread about biggest casino winners or my keywords are just wrong, but the contents was long story short. They've found some strategy and manage to win consecutively mostly in poker, some also got lucky through slot and roulette. The key in winning against house edge is they've develop their own strategies to win similar to the MIT blackjack team, its not cheating when the games itself has flaw in my opinion.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling advertising monitored closely on: January 12, 2021, 01:18:33 PM
Marketing strategy is one of the reasons to why they used stuffed toys , maybe they only want a new fresh point of view from the same advertising mostly showed in television.
There's no really proven system to stop minors from entering. KYC can only work if all casino uses it, and it's easy to have fake Id's now using editing softwares. Crypto based gambling platform mostly doesn't have it. So it's up to the parents to guide them and teach them the pros and cons.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Arbitrage on sports bets? on: January 11, 2021, 12:37:57 PM
apparently nothing has changed, and as a reason I would add also the same provider for most of betting sites.
I opened some weeks ago this post asking for some update about "sure bets" but actually there is not any resource suitable for btc Sad
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284297.msg55448479#msg55448479
Well make sure the bookies do not catch you on arbitrage betting. They do not like betters who do this kind of activities. For them gambling is a fun not to make money. If you find a way to make money then they will restrict you because they have a business to run LOL
This is the risk of being greedy in gambling, better not to try this because I’m sure you’re on the watch list if you create profit bigger than expected. The house should always win and beside the arbitrage is also risky it cannot guarantee sure profit not unless you done this professionally.

Wanting to profit is not bad, we gamblers also want to make money through gambling, maybe get lucky and win the jackpot. Like some individuals out there who profited a lot and earned millions. The competition must be fair and give and take. We are risking our money. So a small way to atleast gain profit through arbitrage should be allowed. Anyway, i'm sure platforms doesn't restrict this. I've seen users experimenting which bookies has best odds. I guess just to be safe read their TOS.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING - Market Cap hits $1 Trillion on: January 06, 2021, 11:05:13 PM
This is the beauty of the blockchain, we can see how much is owned and who owns Bitcoin. Although the chart is imperfect and it cannot record all the actual data we may already broken to Trillions.
We wouldn't anticipated these big move from Bitcoin after several years of long hard bear trend. Now look at it hitting trillions, despite hitting rock bottom back in 2019. Now we see progress and institutional adoption, at this rate we might see a $50k price.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: January 06, 2021, 01:27:58 PM
I believe that there comes a time that there'll be predictions on Mobile Legends in the future or maybe the upcoming LOL on mobile as well, I'll just bookmark this one and receive notifications. Thanks for the great thread.

LOL wildrift fd is still in CBT, still has very low community we can see it from a rank match queue. Ranks in every tier gets shuffled in every game. As for ML it has decent community but the game creator Moonton seems to have no interest in launching competitive 5v5 tournaments even before the pandemic. Although they did few events for teams all over the world to compete after that there were no news. I've still go for Dota 2 it has way more tournaments and community even after all these years.
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin gradually clinching to $40k on: January 05, 2021, 11:19:02 PM
I'm looking for a $50,000 all time high and this is not based on gut feeling but actually, a well analyze research by plan B. Companies, hedges, pension and banks are looking to try and buy more Bitcoin before a major rally. Institutional adoption will sustain the price, this is not the same in 2017 pump and dump. There's a lot of support in the $30k price level we've successfully retested it, most people are probably expecting a pullback to enter the market but at this time the accumulating phase is over.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How secure is a casino from attacks ? on: January 05, 2021, 11:02:32 AM
A centralized server is always prone to attack. They are not safe at all its only a matter of time until someone finds a bug. If the casino site is lucky, a white hat hacker will report it to the webmaster and get a quick patch. But in reality nobody does it. What's more scary is there are ton of ways to hack and exploit web browsers such as simple SQL injection or cross site scripting. I've heard there are gambling sites that uses newer version in storing data through blockchain technology this will minimize hackers from stealing money from gamblers.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Crypto Sports Bookies on: December 29, 2020, 02:51:56 PM
I am looking for a good website that accepts cryptocurrency and offer soccer betting, this topic would be helpful for me. I tried 1xbet and fortunately the experience was terrible, my bitcoin deposit didn't show up on my balance and they didn't solve my problem, their support service is very bad and unprofessional. I just don't wanna experience similar situation again and maybe this voting could help, thanks.

1xbet was a scam through and through, people we're complaining about it in a thread. How it never withdraw the Cryptocurrencies by other users and similar issue from you. In fact they replace it, and created more similar websites but fortunately some member were dubious and found some pieces of design from 1xbet that immediately warned other users. If you still can't pick in which sites to trust try the most popular one's and vouch by the members here, although some of them may have KYC.
30  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fury vs Joshua --- who will win? on: December 14, 2020, 11:48:48 AM
Fury already admitted that he can't beat Joshua but who knows maybe will see a different Fury this match just like how he improved and toyed with Wilder. That time he is the most feared Heavyweight champion, but for me. I'm betting in Joshua base in data about how Joshua beat Fury in a sparring.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 11, 2020, 11:17:52 PM
We've seen Floyd beat up bigger guys than Logan Paul, In the first place why fight people who barely knows boxing. Why not go with a rematch with Manny Pacquiao. Now that's a true fight between great player's that i wanna see, because the last time wasn't pretty convincing at all, it should be held at fair grounds not with bias judges.
32  Other / Meta / Re: 🏆 Bitcointalk Community Awards [Voting 2020] on: December 11, 2020, 11:05:53 PM
What if, i only want to vote for one position. I'm pretty lazy in typing all the other slots to vote, and i only know few people.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A free land for bitcoin on: December 10, 2020, 11:54:32 PM
Try middle east or other third world countries because mostly they don't have any regulations about Cryptocurrencies and openly accepts it. Their centralized authorities either doesn't have any knowledge or doesn't give a damn about it.
But mostly, countries that legalized crypto has always rules, thankfully our country isn't to tight with Crypto, although it lacks services to make purchases in Bitcoin.
34  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Primedice = Prison for your money on: December 10, 2020, 12:16:17 PM
Primedice used to be one of my top gambling platforms to play into because they have higher winning odds, just betting high amount and you can make huge return in their roll game.
But now, they slowly unreliable with more complaints here in the community.
That's why never deposit huge cash in gambling platforms.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy strengthens its Bitcoin game, invests addition $50M in BTC on: December 09, 2020, 12:06:36 AM
For a business intelligent firm they should consider investing Bitcoin intelligently, whales are selling causing a drop of the Bitcoin price because they've bought from the bottom, and with institutional investors and companies coming surging the price. They would be dumping the price to re-enter the markets once more.
I hope that institution's doesn't get discourage by this sell off.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the odds of other outcomes matter to you? on: December 08, 2020, 11:47:07 AM
Doesn't really matter what the odds for the other outcomes are, since you should only look at the odds for the outcome you want to bet on. If we make probabilities out of the odds for Chelsea game, we have this:

Chelsea -> 1.46 = 68.49%
Draw -> 4.70 = 21.28%
Leeds -> 5.68 = 17.61%

This totals up to 107.38%, so Sportsbet's vig is 7.38% in this market.

Now if you consider to bet on Chelsea, the only thing you should look at is the 68.49%. If you think Chelsea has a higher probabilty of winning than that, you should bet on them. If you think it's lower, then not and you can probably check for draw/Leeds, if there is some value there. So, if you give Leeds 25%, then you should bet on them instead.

The hard thing is to calculate your own probabilities. The good thing though is, that you don't need precise numbers, you just need to figure out, if it's higher/lower than 68.49%.

How did it turn to 68.49%, i'm really not familiar with how do they calculate the favourite teams in a gambling platform.
Which i really don't give importantance to, cause im only betting on teams who has more wins and great roster build. This probability could better way to analyze the results of the match.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having trouble earning bitcoin? Listen up on: December 07, 2020, 11:32:35 PM
Indeed most of the signature campaign's pays low, and having delays making payments even though this is already a cheap marketing for them and little effort in managing the campaign.
Also the Mods always deleting your post regardless if its good quality or not but doesn't delete post regarding racism, sexism, runt's about religion or flame. They just want to minimize storage of the website. I mean, if they're earning to much just like in Facebook why the need in deleting.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone who have worked or currently working in casino? on: December 07, 2020, 11:41:40 AM
Casino workers are just employee's in a company, so they wouldn't really know how the game works or exploit it like what you wanted. if they did have some methods in the first place, then they wouldn't have to work there. Instead they'll bet lots of money to earn millions.
Best one's to ask for tips and tricks is the game designer himself. Surely, they have restrictions put in the game in order for not the house to loss from players.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: December 07, 2020, 11:34:16 AM
Looks like the crowd favourite Danny Garcia got defeated, what a let down i was hoping of a more hyper Danny because he has the most experience, considering fighting big names such as Shawn porter and Keith Thurman. But in that fight he looked sluggish and barely even throwing any punches. What a boring match, many gamblers must have loss from this match.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Four Years of Living on Bitcoin Alone. Can You Beat That? Is that even possible? on: December 06, 2020, 11:09:21 PM
That's a real mind blowing fact, travelling around the world considering the cost in living. The real question is "how much does this family holds in quantity of Bitcoin" perhaps there's a side story to this, a side job that earns them fiat. Because i could see it as a waste of Bitcoin asset, using it and selling for travelling. Especially after 2017 it was all dump for Crypto market.
