ETH is not the only way to go for AMD, you know. The Polaris 20 is arguably most efficient on the Ethash algo like the Polaris 10 it succeeded. The Polaris 30 hopefully can be a tick, although that’s a bit of a stretch knowing that AMD has its eyes on the prize - 7nm. Still if this current timeline and rumours substantiate, there might be space for a tock, around the time of the Vega 20. Improbable? Very likely so.

If they lock it for Bios editing they will lose a lot of customers, the miners. And since the miners are the majority of customers of AMD, they were never good enough to fight Nvidia in gaming , it can be a suicide move for them so I don't think they will lock the Bios editing feature found in the Polaris 20 cards. ...
It is tempting to go over to the green-green side There will be ways to go around a BIOS lock. People will consider hacking through locks if the risk of voiding your warranty/RMA (some have already enforced it) is nothing compared to the benefits you will reap. But like hell that’s gonna happen. If it’s locked, it stays locked, for majority at least.

So the rumours have been out for a week or so but AMD is not feeding it. I think they still have something in the tank before the 7nm next year, so a Polaris 30 wouldn’t be bad.
RX 670 out this month and RX 680 the next... Or who knows?!
Don’t expect a big performance boost, will be using the GGDR5 with some additional CUs.
On Ethash, < 40MH/s for the RX 680 < 35MH/s for the RX 670 That too if it can be harnessed by the modders.
Again, might just be the romour mill.

Neat! Did not notice anything from Vosk though. He did receive a test unit, right?

Was interesting to follow the update process. Got anything new coming up?

And you are always presented with an opportunity to prove them all wrong. Find a trusted, neutral party preferably from BCT and ask them review a demo unit. Once they endorse it, watch the interest rise, most importantly because you have them in stock.

i think if you use ETN miner on your mobile that will kill it soon
the best way for you mining buy 4 gpu ... that will give now about 2$
if the market be good .. there will give you more than 7$
The ETN Miner on phones is just a simulation. No harm done to your phone.

B00gieman's example should roughly translate to: cor <rig.id> 1700 mem <rig.id> 4600 globalpowertune 90
|
|
|
+100 core +700 mem 65% PowerLimit Almost 32. (edit: This settings are for MSI afterburnner) Is this not doing it for you then?

Edit these is local.config to mine with Nicehash stratumproxy nicehash . . . proxywallet <bitcoin.address>.<rigname> proxypool1 <pool.address1.for.algo> proxypool2 <pool.address1.for.algo> Use the right miners and right pool addresses for the different algorithms. If you want to point your dual-miner (Claymore) to Nicehash, do the following: dualminer enabled globalminer claymore stratumproxy enabled . . . dualminer-coin <Decred/Siacoin/Lbry/Pascal/Blake2s/Keccak> dualminer-wallet <bitcoin.address>.<rigname> dualminer-pool <pool.address.for.dual.coin.algo> dualminer-poolpass x Find the Nicehash algorithm pool addresses here https://www.nicehash.com/algorithm

Edit local.config Change/add these values: cor <you.rig.name> <GPU0.core.clock> <GPU1.core.clock> <GPU2.core.clock>... mem <you.rig.name> <GPU0.memory.clock> <GPU1.memory.clock> <GPU2.memory.clock>... Example: cor f3sh85 1350 1325 mem f3sh85 2300 2350 Anything over the base clocks will be overclocking You can also play with the powertune, 5 is the suggested one

Hy Guys, Im new in Crypto mining. I bought 7 mashines today/tomorrow DHL will deliver. I payed 6700$ with shipment, VAT and PSU. My friend will install and connect all. Any suggestion from you guys what I need to know? And Im planing to buy 10-20 more coming 2 weeks time for the same price. Is it good investment or is it to late? Help. Is it possible to publish picture on forum here? Thanks Alex Would suggest you don’t buy anymore. The next batch of Z9 minis will be shipping in August and within 2 week time period you stated for any of your new orders. The return on capital for even the 7 you have would be a bit difficult unless you proactively mine profitable coins and cash in on the highs. Also if your username is anything to go by, I would also suggest you sell a couple of your miners at a good profit in Dubai. There should be people interested and with the cash, from what I’ve seen. Just make a listing on one of the local classifieds or here with a margin you see fit and start mining. If someone is happy to take you up on the offer, you make a quicker recovery on your initial expenditure, else you keep reaping in your mining rewards. Just keep all doors open.

You do not want to use SOLO mining pools or just the sharing pools?
There are solo mining pools which will help you by hosting nodes at low latency. You can direct rental power to these pool. They do have a 1-2% fees though.
2miners.com have solo mining options.

Nitro+ if you are going to game a bit as well (bios switch) and think a couple of extra degrees is too hot. For just mining, Pulse is the way to go. Lower power draw at the same hashrates (both Nitro and Pulse have the same clocks) and you are more likely to hit the Micron lottery (32 MH/s @ 87W).
Downside to both, their support sucks.

Do you: 1. Provide a new prime activated account? 2. Activate an existing account after we give you its login details? 3. Provide a Prime gift/voucher which we can redeem on our own account ourselves?

Is there an expiry to the coupon usage? Never brought from Bitmain and with the current situation, sensibly shouldn't. I would not want to waste away any of your kind gesture and deny others if they have to be used soon.
