21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NYC] NEW YORK COIN at 2017 MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE IN NYC! on: August 02, 2019, 02:22:31 PM
Yobit  has updated NYC wallet.
Gorgeous!
NYC holders and traders, We all say Thank you to Yobit.

To begin the next level of being a major cryptocurrency,
NYC need one more exchange as big as Yobit.
I hope NYC get listed on one of Korean cryptocurrency exchanges as bithumb, coinone or upbit.
Actually  about two years back, bithumb was once mentioned as NYC exchange if memory serves me well.

Wow! I really doesn't pay to be away from this forum for any length of time!  Grin  But, lots of activity, good or bad, it's all PR!
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DNotes 2.0 - Staking, CRISP Interest, DNotes Pay on: July 17, 2019, 02:33:04 PM

Hi everyone!

Been totally immersed in work last several months, not much time for chit chat or crypto for that matter but, back now! What is going on? Looks like ALTs are totally out of favor right now. I find that so ironic, Bitcoin is old tech at this point but, I suppose name recognition and hype have a lot to do with it. Still holding, who would sell in this market anyway? Guess you're all in "wait it out mode" huh?

So, how is everyone? Anything exciting going on? Any new plans for Note?

Hey RJF, yep for the most part. Bitcoin goes up and alts go down, I'm sure there are many factors involved.

Just finished up with our annual open house at the gardens this past weekend, pretty good turnout.

HERo membership will be ready shortly, likely to launch within the next 60 days. Then our focus will be on growing HERo to become a revenue source and ultimately funding.

How have you been?

Doing well, closing in on retirement but, will take a bit longer due to crypto markets! <G> The wife and I are starting to travel more, like to see the rest of the US and Europe as time allows. Spend some time in Mexico recently, that was fun, East side in Playa DelCarmen great place to unwind. How's everyone there? Alan doing well? Any plans for Dnotes?

ECC is already taken by another long time project.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: July 12, 2019, 12:33:02 PM
Can EOS moving better than Cheesy and what its price can be predicted?

$15 could be hit soon easily with current volume and positive market

very difficult 15$ target, look at coin supply almost 1 billion is circulating in the market currently so the 15$ target take the EOS marketcap upto 15 billion $ that is huge coin marketcap. i expect 9$ price target in next two month if crypto prices goes up

Agreed, 15 Billion coins is a real impediment to moving above 8 to 10 USD, there would have to be incredible buying and I don't really see anything to justify that at the current time. But, if the ALT market goes crazy, it could happen.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digital Currency on: July 11, 2019, 12:08:23 AM
Is it possible even though the project is in good standing, the reason for the delisting is because the exchanges are looking at the GitHub page and are not seeing recent commits?

https://github.com/CloakProject/CloakCoin

Exchanges are scared to death of anything that had an ICO or looks like a security. Privacy coins are also a target. You can thank the good off US or A for that. Washington needs to get off its fat overstuffed ass and make some clear rules for crypto in general and take the power away from the SEC, we do not belong under their control.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digital Currency on: July 07, 2019, 12:04:29 AM

Tons of new exchanges out there. Even if Bittrex does not delist we need those new listings even more now.

And look into signing up for KMD's Atomic Dex when possible, won't need exchanges after that!
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digital Currency on: July 06, 2019, 04:13:18 PM

Dear Cloak Community,

Unfortunately, we didn't receive good news...

Bittrex has announced the delisting of CloakCoin on the 19th of July.
...

Yeah Bittrex's actions is beyond my comprehension. They delisted so many good projects recently. They will most likely and up like Poloniex or even Yobit.
Would be great to have some new exchanges on board who are focused on real projects and not just vaporware.

Good thing is that Cloak is to be listed on Beaxy, a new exchange that's gaining traction, am I right?

Yeah, Beaxy will list cloak in the listing round 3. Hope soon

So far, Beaxy rules! Also check out Latoken and Chaoex as they are listing coins dropped by Bittrex and others.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digital Currency on: July 06, 2019, 04:10:53 PM
Bittrex and Litebite.eu (sucker broker) Delist CLOAK while this coin is in good health. It's beyond comprehension. They prefer to support fraudulent projects under ETH that are useless instead of supporting innovative parts like CLOAK. Sorry for you my friends

This is what happens when there is no figure or actor carrying flags or multiple partnerships with applications... the most disappointing thing is that the "developers" or "heads think" do not understand. it must be organized as a business to succeed in mass adoption. Must be adapted to different cultures.

"we are a community" is far from being a guarantee of quality and long-term investment security.

Courage, restructure your management and come back strong because CLOAK despite its constraints which are now imposed (delisting) remains a very good, useful, anonymous and secure part.

No, this is what happens when pussy exchanges are scared of their own shadow. This coin should be listed EVERYWHERE, this delisting is bullshit from scared children. This isn't how crypto was born nor how it should operate. We need exchanges with courage, not cowardice. It time for the DEX's to rule like KMD's Atomic Swap and others, they are the future.

There appears to be an EMC2/MIL scammer stealing private keys at:  https://emc2wallet.org/
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN-EMC2 Einsteinium FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY KMD-dPoW on: June 15, 2019, 05:15:19 PM
In our ongoing effort to keep our community informed here is a brief progress update on MIL from our core development team:

'We are proud to inform all ours interested parties that we are one step closer to solve serialization issue that troubles us for almost few weeks. We found possible solution to overcome this issue, but also to keep main-net safe as it should be. We'll perform several integration tests in next week to make sure that side effect are not caused by this implementation. We will be soon back on track for delivering MIL project!

EMC2 Core'

What is the method of MIL distribution? Will it be through the Lightsaber wallet?

Do I need to upgrade the QT wallet?

Will the QT wallet still be offered? If so, will the update require a new QT wallet install?

I liked and still like Verge going to be doing some research on it might scoop up some at these prices!

Can't hurt to add it to your portfolio...

It says even if you have one mintcoin, you still earn 5% on it, unlike other coins that have to reach a threshold of many to get any stakes.

The fundamentals are solid, the use case is good, we just need to get people excited about Mint. I'm not a marketing wiz but, it would seem that we all should be mentioning Mint wherever and when ever possible. We are the best marketing tool Mint has, lets use that to our advantage.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digital Currency on: April 11, 2019, 09:31:28 PM
Cloak price dead dead dead from 0.0055 to 0.00011 thats very funny

Do you even have any CLOAK?  Grin
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digital Currency on: April 07, 2019, 03:49:05 PM
I got 220 cloak in the wallet but the problem still exists. Does the wallet needs to be online at all times? I mean I cannot shut off the laptop or what?  Thx for your advice

You will only get rewards while the wallet is open, unlocked and online. When you close it, lock it, or shut down your computer, no rewards for that time period will be earned. Pretty standard QT based wallet operation.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: April 07, 2019, 03:46:47 PM
Pretty sure verge lost its credibility awhile ago.

Where do I start? Originally named doge coin dark lol.

Wraith release date failed horribly by not meeting the scheduled release date 31st December that really let down alot of investors and caused the coin to dump (apparently not the first time xvg has failed to meet scheduled dates) when it released it had issues (give or take release dates don't always run so smoothly for most coins)

Core developer had a yahoo email address that got hacked and had his twitter or fb page hijacked... Seriously the irony on a privacy coin developer getting hacked.. Double irony for using yahoo email address lol.

Multiple 51% attacks (3 or 4 times) the coin ended up forking without even letting everyone know lol.

Android wallet had connectivity issues via tor, couldn't even recover xvg balance from the wallet even using the seed recovery process failed.

Ah, the comic relief from a newbie (fake troll account) Why do these people even bother? Go to a church and preach about the devil, same result. Bye now...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVA7K2Wj-J8 - everything i mentioned pretty much summoned up right here

verge's own official twitter promoted that android wallet and totally fkd it once the coin hardforked resulting in peeps losing there holdings
go to church and pray to god for verge to perform a miracle lol

no faith in verge the image and rep has already been tarnished

Shit happens. Lots of successful projects with the same setbacks, all in the past. Go somewhere else and preach.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DNotes 2.0 - Staking, CRISP Interest, DNotes Pay on: March 28, 2019, 01:17:31 PM

Just want to say "Hi" to everyone, been away for a while, what's happening??  Grin

Hey RJF! Always glad to see you. We've been busy pushing HERo and working on a rather elaborate design for an upgrade to it for membership. The two following posts sum up our current goals and objectives.

Plan to be in our neck of the woods this summer?

https://www.quora.com/What-do-you-look-for-in-an-investment#ans127013901

This popped up in my email and it is a good read about what an investor really looks for in an investment. It helps, in a way, to explain why we are doing certain things. We recognize the enormous task of trying to create a new model for money, one that is very unique to DNotes and developed in a way that we envisioned the money of the future would look like in an ideal world. A balance of business, ecosystem, and the currency itself with decentralization where it matters most and hybrid or centralized approaches where they make the most sense.

As such, we have to find unique ways to grow, and this is in reference to the third point in the article as it may be the most difficult concept. HERo, DCEBrief, Four Pillars, and NextGenVC fall under the category of DNotes adoption, gaining mind share, and integration into the greater ecosystem of the future. These are critical components to our success. Right now they are growing parts and the foundation of our infrastructure that can be rapidly expanded. Given the current state of our industry and sentiment, these components are the highest priority and providing us a good deal of traction for growing our network and reach.

From DNotes Telegram:

Quote from Denver Dan today 3-26-19

Alan, I was wondering if you could elaborate a little more on the connection between Hero and DNotes as a currency. As I've read through the Hero website, the purpose is to support female participation in digital currency and female ran businesses. (generally speaking) The Hero model appears to be a central hub for promoting this. How does this connect with the use of DNotes as a currency? Are partners paid/paying/integrating DNotes into their business? Are there specific things that directly link DNotes currency to Hero?

Quote from Alan Yong:

HERo, formerly CryptoMoms, is an integral part of DNotes strategic vision since April 2014 - to build an inclusive trusted digital currency that is purposeful with world-changing implications. We have held steadfast to the belief that mass adoption of digital currency is not achievable without the full participation of women, as they control more than one half of the global assets and buying power.

HERo is turning out to be our dream come true. Its mission has been expanded to include all the women of the world with focus in technology, finance, fintech, and entrepreneurship – covering all ages, almost 4 billion of the global population. We are the only one doing this at this scale. Other crypto women, and female blockchain groups (mostly quite small) are delighted to support us or partner with us. Yes, we are the global hub for women worldwide. That is a massive market for DNotes.

Doing the right thing at the right time is crucial.  I am old schooled and strongly believe that it is best to earn it than shaft something down one’s throat.

Any one impressed by HERo will learn about its connection with DNotes and DNotes Global. We have that covered with a very large Internet foot-print and published materials. We will be promoting DNotes to our supporters and target market. This will include a campaign to introduce them to DNotesVault and CRISP Reward.

We are working hard to include a membership platform based on a one time stet-up fees $30. This platform will showcase product and service providers, who will be paying a monthly listing fees of $50. Our initial target is to sign up 10,000 members and 100 service providers. Our five-year goal is to sign up 1,000,000 members and 1,000 service providers.

We will be accepting DNotes as payment and expect our supporters to do the same. DNotesPay will be promoted as the ideal payment solution for micropayment.

Read the DNotes Story. Despite a depressed market, we continue to execute and advance. HERo is our first business unit to scale globally. From our vantage point, things are looking great.

I am totally swamped. If you have any other questions, I am counting on Tim to answer them.

I really like the Hero site, nice work there, should appeal to your target audience better than the old site while including new followers. I'll be in Ohio in May, might have some time to come up and see you all, let's see how it goes. Lots of changes in the industry, growing pains I suppose. Time to "weed out" the non serious players and open the field to those with a real plan, determination and talent. Should be a good time for DNotes!
