21  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The US Senate postpones sanctions against Russia on: May 04, 2017, 09:46:41 AM
By DEB RIECHMANN, Associated Press
WASHINGTON (AP) — The House passed an intelligence policy bill Wednesday that bolsters efforts against Russia's alleged covert influence campaigns in the United States and elsewhere, and seeks to strengthen congressional oversight of America's spy agencies.
The bipartisan bill addresses national security threats, the U.S. intelligence community's activities and congressional oversite duties. It includes a classified annex that hasn't been made public. The Senate is expected to pass the legislation, possibly this week.
The measure funds efforts to foil attacks and deny terrorists haven in Iraq, Syria, North Africa and other places in the world. It supports U.S. counterintelligence programs that address adversaries' threats in cyberspace and outer space, and at sea.
It also updates whistleblowing procedures in the intelligence community. And it requires a declassification review of intelligence reports on the past militant activities of detainees transferred out of the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Monitoring would be strengthened over the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, an independent agency set up after 9/11 to make sure the federal government's efforts to prevent terrorism balance with protecting privacy and civil liberties.?
Probably this is a consequence of non-constructive telephone conversation with Putin.

England Said they will use nuclear weapons to its enemies.
Everyone knows the consequences of a nuclear war.

Vote Now!

This is ridiculous! England is not even a super-power. Their armed forces are not even capable of defeating third world nations such as Nigeria or Pakistan. Even if they are having the nukes, what will they do with them? They don't have any ICBMs.

You got a good analysis. England or Great Britain for that matter is no more a superpower economically and militarily...in World War2 yes it was powerful but after that great war its power fade fast and is now reduced into an insignificant regional player. Look at its navy now and how weak it is compared to other countries like Russia and China. If there would be a global war right now, Britain may not be able to contribute much in a coalition of the willing to defeat the enemies.
Have you seen what the Russian Navy? All vehicles built over 20 years ago. The flagship of the Russian Navy "Admiral Kuznetsov" laugh the whole world during his trip in the tugs to the coast of Syria.
23  Other / Politics & Society / The FBI called the largest threat to the Earth on: May 03, 2017, 07:15:30 PM
The head of the FBI James Komi said that Russia is the biggest threat on Earth. He said this at the Senate hearings on the influence of Russia on the elections of 2016 in the United States. He noted that Russia - "this is the biggest threat of all on Earth, on the basis of its intentions and capabilities
24  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you kill your own children if God commanded you to? on: May 03, 2017, 07:10:34 PM
If god commands me to kill my own children iŽll say no, what kind of god tell his followers to kill they future of his religion?
What is God? Allah. We all know that among the suicide bombers, all Muslims. All these people are someone's children. Their families know that they are going to commit and not stop them. It's not like killing your own children?
25  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: May 03, 2017, 07:06:00 PM
no, unless it's stolen and not being used to improve the common world.

Which is sadly the case in a hell lot of countries...
Developped countries are in the end only slightly affected by corruption and tax problem.
When you look at third world countries THERE you see how shitty a government can become.

Balance of power is always the most important.
Believe me in third countries there are people who are much richer than people in most developed countries. Problems with the redistribution of funds exist in all countries. The poorer the country the greater the difference between rich and poor.
26  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Died the oldest inhabitant of the Earth. on: May 03, 2017, 07:01:45 PM
Yeah, maybe the only possible way to live that long is to live on a secluded island with pure air, water and organic food, without wars, stress and worries of the modern world. But in that case why live 100+ years if life goes past you?
It is also not conducive to longevity. Michael Jackson slept in a hyperbaric chamber and he led a pretty decent life, take care of yourself, but it did not help him to live long. On the other hand there are homeless people who live 80+
27  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about the death penalty? on: May 03, 2017, 06:58:19 PM
I believe that the death penalty will reduce or completely destroy the level of crime. All sorts of garbage will be afraid to inflict serious crimes on pain of execution.
Every criminal hopes that he will not find. Additionally, many crimes are committed under the influence of alcohol and drugs. At this point, people cannot adequately perceive the reality and therefore the existence of the death penalty will not stop him.
28  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia has drastically increased its military spending over the past 10 years on: May 03, 2017, 06:55:24 PM
If war does break out, you really don't care if Russia wins or NATO wins. The world will be a big loser.
And it doesn't matter if your wealth is in bitcoins or in gold, there is a chance that you may not be alive to enjoy it.

If the war is between Russia and the NATO, and if you are living in some other country, then the chances are that you will survive the war. Countries such as Brazil and Argentina refused to participate in the WW2. And their economy grew a lot after the war.
More just after the second world war developed the German economy. This country was completely destroyed and was able not only to recover but is now one of the leading places in the world. Maybe for a country to be developed it is necessary to destroy?
It's not like that. Germany always had good economy, before and after the war. Berlin suffered a lot during the war, but Southern Germany did not.
Looking back we can see that countries under the influence of communism rebuilt much slower than the rest. Look how Bulgaria and Hungary are doing, they are in much worse condition than the Netherlands, Sweden, or Belgium. I'm purposely not comparing them to France or Spain, because of the differences in land and population.

Another interesting aspect is neutrality. It seems waving white flag can sometimes be a good idea. We all know how France fought during the war, their courage is a popular theme for jokes, but people forget about many other countries, like the mentioned Netherlands and Belgium, who gave up the moment they saw the Germans marching towards them.
Why so far to see. After the second world war, East Germany was under the occupation of the Soviet Union. It's been over 20 years since the fall of the Berlin wall, but they never reached the level of West Germany.
29  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christianity is Poison on: May 03, 2017, 06:52:12 PM
That's not a wise issue to discuss, why you are calling poison.?.I don't know what program with you and what's the reason behind it.?.
No religion is poison, proper religion never be like that.. Every religion show us to the way of beautiful meaning of Life.

In reasonable quantities, religion is really created to show the beauty of life, but fanatical religion is poison.
And within reasonable limits what is good in religion. The principle of religion is to make man humble. You think it's okay? No religion is poison, it poisons not only the body and the mind.

A moderate amount of modesty is normal, so there is nothing wrong with religion if you do not take it too seriously.
It is not about modesty. We are talking about worship. Religion taught man to meekly carry out the orders of God which proceed from the mouth of priests. Do you think this is acceptable. LOL!
30  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Foodlunch at us public school, another exposure of the demcrats hate on: May 02, 2017, 02:16:18 PM
Hmm...
I'm not sure I understand...
What's the link between democrats and a bad school meal?

If I may, the bad school meal is just the consequence of privatisation of this market... Hence corruption and profits made at the expenses of the kids...

Nationalize that and you'll have great meals at low cost.
I also support you. There is corruption in a democracy and autocracy. It doesn't matter. In many countries school feeding is a good way to make money. In addition, people rarely save the children. So it is always in the diet of schoolchildren laid excessive regulations which are easy to save.

Just saying: you're no longer in the EU = you're no longer an allie = why should we protect you in any way?

What a load of bollocks.

So the US, Australia etc also not allies as they arent in the EU?

That's not the point! US, Australia etc have never been in the EU so there status is different!

Here to put it simply, UK were close allies to France and they decided to get rid of the links between them.
The only alliance still going between France and UK if I'm not mistaken is the NATO treaty.

Not exactly what you would call close alliance... Merely a defense treaty.
But it's true that you can't get rid of history with just one decision. I don't think it changes the way the two countries will negociate. At least for now.

The EU didnt exist last time the UK people laid down their lives for fighting for France either.
When was this? You are referring to world war 2? Then fought not only soldiers from the United Kingdom. The anti-Hitler coalition was part of the United States, the Soviet Union. Why do you think they are not. But the French surrendered and offered no resistance. For me it is an eternal disgrace to France.
32  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: May 02, 2017, 01:59:51 PM
I lose my respect to Trump. He was bought by war industries.

Perhaps it is too early to reach any conclusion in this regard. Trump is perhaps using this opportunity to improve his approval ratings. He may not be interested in an all out war against the North Korea. I still believe he is a much better choice than Hillary Clinton.
He's no better than Hillary. But stupid. His actions are aimed solely at improving their rankings. I am sure that he will not hesitate to strike on North Korea. Americans remember their inglorious part in the first war and waiting for revenge. Now America can do it easily. I think Trump will do it.
33  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Japan is one of the leaders in the world in number of suicides. on: May 02, 2017, 01:52:18 PM
Japan is one of the leaders in the world by quantity of suicides among adults and among children. I don't understand why. I've never been in this country, but I think that it is a very beautiful and technologically developed country. I think it interesting to live. Does anyone know why this happens?
I've heard of killing myself in Japan. People say that if anyone makes a big mistake, doing a very shameful thing, they choose to end their lives by thrusting a knife into their stomachs. Some say that in order to protect friends, and the crowds, if by suicide can protect many people, they are better suicide. I do not know if anyone is still doing that in this day and age. I'm not too sure.

It's a good thing that we do not have such a ritual, and many of them now would not be sitting at this forum because of their mistakes Grin
I think it's stupid. Mistakes are made all. If you are alive you always have the opportunity to correct your mistakes, and that can make dead? I believe that suicide is a sign of weakness, an attempt is easy to avoid problems.
34  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do conservative worldwide oppose "drugs" legalization? on: May 02, 2017, 01:47:43 PM
I am sure that the state is not interested in the legalization of drugs. Addiction is the addiction of the young. It kills first those people whom the government is interested. Who will work and bring income to the Treasury? I think legalization of drugs is only interested in some officials who want to make money. Legalization will bring harm to all.

So all officials are engaged in something poisonous in order to earn money in treasury. Alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, prostitution ... all these are governed by rulers.
Officials earn more on illegal businesses. Let's see what happens for example with cigarettes. Europe has set a very high excise tax on these products. Now everywhere you can buy illegal cigarettes. They bring money to the officials and the police, but the state loses income.

In Silk Road and Silk Road 2.0, there was a Moldovan vendor who would ship cigarette packs to the EU nations. He was very popular in these dark markets. Buying cigarettes from dark markets seems to be a safer option for me. May be cheaper as well.
Why only Moldova? And Belarus? If such a difference in price there will always be the temptation to earn money by smuggling. It seems to me that this is the fault of the government. I also fundamentally smoke smuggled cigarettes. The government must understand that it is impossible so arrogant to climb into the pockets of the citizens.

Nobody has checked NATO combat capability. It is theoretically the most powerful military Alliance, but where is the guarantee that in case of conflict, all countries will fulfill their obligations. Who can now predict the behaviour of Turkey? She is also a member of NATO.
36  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What going on in turkey right now? on: May 01, 2017, 05:56:37 PM
Maybe Erdogan wants to build his own Islamic Caliphate. Democracy rarely works in Muslim countries. They prefer sharia and other medieval forms of government.
I think that the reason is not that Muslims prefer. The reason is that the level of education in many Islamic countries is very weak. To lead the uneducated mob can only use the rigid dictatorship.
37  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Died the oldest inhabitant of the Earth. on: May 01, 2017, 05:51:58 PM
Our body is designed for 200-300 years of life. Only it is necessary to lead a correct way of life.
The same can not be such that all lead wrong way of life? Why no one has ever lived for 200 years? Maybe the reason is something else? There are also examples of the fact that a smoker lives longer than someone who never smoked.
38  Other / Politics & Society / Re: French Election on: May 01, 2017, 05:46:49 PM
The candidate in presidents of France, centrist Emmanuel macron has threatened the EU with France's withdrawal from the Union if the Union will not agree to the reform. "At the same time, we must look at the situation, to listen to our people and to the fact that they are very angry today..., disturbed functioning of the EU is no longer good", - said the politician.
Macron believes that his side will be "betrayal" to allow the EU to continue to function in the same form. Such statements Makron probably finally cut the ground from under the feet of Marie Le pen.

40  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kim is less likely to solve the problem peacefully. on: May 01, 2017, 05:17:09 PM
Kim cannot back down on this, his generals would probably killed him. And Trump and war industries will get their war they wanted. Time and time again those corporations running USA would prefer profit over millions of lives. Good Luck, World War 3 is coming.
You really believe that the generals can organize a revolt against Kim? I don't believe it. North Korea's rigid dictatorship that does not tolerate dissent. All who could resist Kim has long been killed. Maybe because Kim and behaves so that he does afraid to tell the truth.
