23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I learned something new from Bitcoin today on: March 30, 2024, 04:54:36 PM
I learned something new today. I started bitcoin trading with 100 $ I made 10$ from here and I lost 11$ gambling with 100$ now I don't call gambling bad because I don't understand and I don't have patience to play the game and past I easily from bitcoin made 10$ profit now which one should i choose you say i know a man need bitcoins in future but still a man can be addicted to gambling and to all of you i want to say none of you should be addicted to anything and not to gambling and you are more Trade Bitcoin and see your future shine.
Gambling is not a place for income but gambling is a game that we have to pay with money just to get pleasure so don't ever assume that we can make a profit by placing bets in gambling games, my advice is that you should just focus on your bitcoin trading because it seems to have an understanding in trading so that you can earn income even though the dominal amount you get is only $11, but at least you still make a profit rather than having to lose money through gambling.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Ethereum's biggest competitor? on: March 29, 2024, 03:55:09 PM
Ethereum's alternatives and competitors. See how Ethereum compares to similar products. Ethereum's top competitors include Solv Protocol, Radix, and Avalanche. Solv Protocol operates as a one-stop platform and a decentralized liquidity infrastructure for creating and trading nonfungible tokens (NFTs).

In my opinion, BNB is the biggest competitor for ethereum in all the aspects and for far in the recent years BNB is gaining momentum while ethereum is somewhat stagnant on its growth due to external factors like switching from PoW to PoS and even after switching the gas fee for token transaction is still on the expensive side which force the token projects to look for alternatives and that's where BNB stands as first choice.
In previous years, many people in Crypto circles often said that there were several alternative coins such as Solana, ADA and BNB which were Ethereum killers but in fact so far none of these coins have been able to surpass the price of ETH, so I say even if one day Later there will be altcoins that use more sophisticated technology but they still cannot beat the fundamentals of the Ethereum coin because basically the Ethereum coin has been recognized by investors that it is the king of thousands of other altcoins.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is that one reason that motivates you to invest in bitcoin even at ATH ? on: March 29, 2024, 02:10:25 PM
Bitcoin touched new ATH in 2024 of around $69000. There is fear in some investors that there can be a big correction from here. But, there are many investors who are still investing in bitcoin even if the prices are near ATH. What is your one primary reason to keep investing in BTC even at these levels.

I am doing this because I am positive with the ETF news. It is resulting in major adoption to users who were earlier reluctant to invest in bitcoins.
Apart from the reasons you mentioned, the reason I am still investing in bitcoin is because of the halving event which will soon occur this year, considering that this event encourages me to continue buying bitcoin and the bitcoin halving is of course one of the events that is highly anticipated by Cryptocurrency fans in particular for bitcoin investors because after that it will most likely make the price of bitcoin rise higher even though recently bitcoin has made a new ATH but there will still be another ATH after the halving and I am very sure.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should be looking only at the brighter side on: March 28, 2024, 06:02:44 PM
We can't know for sure that Bitcoin will continue to grow, but we can reasonably expect that to happen and believe that it will happen. I think that completely ignoring negative things isn't the best strategy because it's important to be realistic and to respond to risks when they occur. For now, the situation is pretty good, but at some point something serious enough to doubt Bitcoin's future might happen, so being realistic will come in handy. Instead of ignoring the bad stuff, I believe that we should learn to accept it and be calm about it.
Not always positive things will always influence the movement of Bitcoin and vice versa, so it is necessary for us to be able to minimize as much as possible the risk of our investment with Bitcoin because that is what can make investors successful when investing in Cryptocurrency. indeed if there is good news about bitcoin everyone will definitely be happy and shout that holding can bring big profits for us but we also have to realize that when bad events happen many people also complain that they have lost everything as happened in last year's bearish season.
27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is age a limitation in Bitcoin on: March 28, 2024, 02:10:56 PM
But under 18 can find it difficult to use exchanges and platforms that are centralized. You are right because bitcoin is not centralized but decentralized and you can get your coins through decentralized exchanges or to buy it directly from someone selling bitcoin like such service offer on this forum.
After the emergence of regulations regarding mandatory KYC for users of centralized exchanges, currently minors cannot make exchanges or withdrawals on these exchanges, but because Bitcoin is completely decentralized, it is very possible that everyone can still invest with Bitcoin, this is one of the advantages of Bitcoin because with bitcoin we can freely manage our own funds without third party interference and everyone can have bitcoin as long as they have an understanding of bitcoin and how to invest with it.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End Goal or Keep HODLing? on: March 27, 2024, 02:48:57 PM
I wouldn't have said this but I am much more concerned about the fact that we have been hearing so many people talking about holding Bitcoin for the long term and never selling. I find it so confusing that after investing so much in Bitcoin for years we won't want to sell our bitcoin till we die.

I've been buying Bitcoin since last year when it dipped in December i know it's not long. Since then I have held my bitcoin firmly regardless of the price increase this year I still decided to sit on it. Although I do not have enough Bitcoin because I have little money then if I were to sell my holdings now I would have 3 times of I invested.

Also, I have the belief that Bitcoin will keep breaking new ATH forever. Should I leave my Bitcoin forever without selling it or set a goal that I have in mind and when it reaches that goal I sell and take my profits?

What do you do?

On what principles guide your actions in the realm of Bitcoin (BTC)?

For me, holding bitcoin for the long term doesn't mean I will hold it forever without touching it, but I have made a strategy and have determined when I should sell the bitcoin I hold, like right now, the market is bullish so I sell some of the bitcoin I hold for looking for profits from the ups and downs of price movements and partly I continue to hold it until the Bitcoin halving event occurs so that I have the opportunity to get the highest peak price when I sell it later.
29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Back again on: March 26, 2024, 04:32:51 PM
Hi there to all of you. I haven't been active on this forum  due to the demanding nature of my work as an interior decorator. However, recently, I've noticed that bitcoin is rising in value on the global market, and this has my interest in Bitcoin. I would like to know how people typically manage to balance their offline and online work, and how I can adjust to this.
Actually, to balance time between online and offline work, it really depends on us personally to manage our time as best as possible because everyone here has a different job, so far I also have an offline job which works almost 8 to 9 hours per day and Initially I decided to stop working online for a while so as not to be disturbed by my offline work, but at that time I forced myself to be able to do both jobs and I applied a method when break time came, I tried opening the gadget for a moment and reading several posts on this forum. Then I will reply to the post when I get home from work before break time.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investment a necessity or a want? on: March 24, 2024, 01:06:02 PM
It is am obvious fact there are a lot of coins coming in to the market and Bitcoin halving is so close and alot of people are also diving in to the  market, but some thing actually triggered me creating this thread which is where I got the attention from, some one very close to me has been prioritizing coins involvement other than his health care. What are your option on this?
Health is a very important main factor in life because without physical health it is impossible for us to do other work such as investing, so it is very unfortunate if there are people who invest in Cryptocurrency but do not pay attention to their health.
Maybe by investing we can get profits, but we have to realize that the profits we get are not comparable to living a healthy life. Personal experience several years ago, I experienced serious illness due to trading and hunting for airdrops without sufficient rest time, in fact almost every night I did not have enough rest time and enough sleep.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is exchange based tokens worth for hold? on: March 22, 2024, 03:31:11 PM
As an investor, i bought so many exchange based tokens! Bnb, uniswap, kucoin (kcs), cake, houbi (ht),  FTP and so on. Undoubtedly those exchangers are so big and reputable. I though those altcoins will pump if exchange get larger during time and if exchange add more pair with their altcoin on their platform, then price will boom but most of those are like shitcoin, dumped 70-80℅ in long run except bnb. So what do you think? I'm no longer going to invest any exchange coin anymore!
If you invest in exchange-based altcoins, the price of the coin usually really depends on the exchange platform and also the founder, such as what happened on the Binance exchange, if there was a hack on the exchange, the price of the BNB coin would also experience a significant drop in price, as well as when there is Other negative news related to this exchange, even though the Binannce exchange is an exchange that has developed greatly, investing with BNB coins also carries a risk of loss.
33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have to hold on tight on: March 22, 2024, 01:39:33 PM
...Imagine a person who purchased BTC in 2011 and held it for 13 years, his profit from this investment is huge. Now think you are that person in 2035, you can calculate the profit margin and this will help you calm your nerves.

It is very difficult for me to imagine such investors who have hold Bitcoin for 13 years. Who are these people who resisted the temptation to sell their coins when the price increased by tens of thousands of percent? I would never become one of them, since I can't hold my coins so tightly.
Although sometimes there are a small number of us who are able to hold on to their Bitcoin for quite a long period of time, perhaps you could say that they have completely forgotten about their Bitcoin investment so they are not tempted to sell it when the price starts to slowly rise until it reaches ATH, I personally also can't hold onto it. Bitcoin for a period of 13 years without touching it at all, a few years ago I tried not to touch my Bitcoin holdings for a period of 2 years but unfortunately every time I saw the price of bitcoin increasing then I was always tempted to sell it to make a profit.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret on: March 21, 2024, 04:27:41 PM
If we see the history of Bitcoin, then it's pretty easy to see how Bitcoin recovered its price. It would take time to recover, but eventually it did. So at the end of the day, holders don't need to be regretful. I am talking about Bitcoin, not about any other altcoin. Because even though the Bitcoin price has recovered, many altcoins haven't recovered yet. Even those who bought Bitcoin at the top in the last bull run, I believe they are almost recovered. If they are still holding, they will be in profit within a couple of months. Bitcoin has given us a costly lesson that holders won't regret. We should take that lesson and keep it in mind for the future.
Because this is one of the factors that makes bitcoin really worthy of being called the king of all Cryptocurrencies, previously there were many things felt by bitcoin holders, starting from governments who wanted to destroy bitcoin by carrying out FUD against bitcoin, they even strictly banned it in several countries so that people not investing but the fact that this method does not make bitcoin die even today bitcoin proves to us that investing with it is the right choice and can generate big profits for the holder in the long term.
There is no doubt about the future of bitcoin because so far bitcoin has proven to be the best.
35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Patience is power on: March 20, 2024, 03:57:45 PM
Initially before this forum , I was active in trading crypto which sometimes my analysis will enter for me and I will make some money and at a point the phobia of loss enveloped my thought and I stopped trading crypto because of series of losses but when I joined the forum ( bitcointalk) I read a thread that talked about patience and that all the newbies should Hodl coins instead of trading and that they should go through what the high ranked members post before making their own post and after going through series of threads I decided to read as much as I can and to hodl as much as I can and now all my technical analysis are going towards my direction and the chances of loss has reduced however, I thank all the High ranked members for their advice and at same time ,I urge all the newbies to be patient enough to read more post before posting .
Patience or anyone who has a strong hand is one of the factors for success when in the world of Crypto, but sometimes patience can also cause losses. I mean, if we want to hold coins in the long term then don't choose the wrong coin to hold because not all coins on the market can survive in the long term, it's just that some coins have strong fundamentals so they have the opportunity to provide big profits in the future . So in my personal opinion, it's not just patience that we need to apply, but we also need to have massive understanding when we want to profit from Cryptocurrency.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just a friendly Bitcoin friend reminder - High price = more scams on: March 20, 2024, 03:37:37 PM
The Bitcoin price are reaching a new All-time-high again and we all know scammers are trying their best to get their hands on your coins.

I have seen a significant increase in Phishing emails, trying to get me to click on stupid links.

I never click on any links and all my coins are stored in long-term cold storage, so I know they are out of reach, but many people have hot wallets and they might be a target.

So guys... be safe out there and protect your coins. It's crazy season and the scammers are very active.
Yes, that's right, when the bullish season arrives, we often see fraudsters also increasing significantly in the Crypto space to trick targets in any way, be it by sending fake links or by providing bait that can double our crypto balance, this method is always used. by fraudsters from the past until now, but I really wonder why there are still people who believe in the old tricks that are often used by fraudsters even though on this forum many users often remind us not to easily entrust our finances to anyone but ourselves , Could all this happen due to negligence or because of greed, so you have to believe in fraudsters.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocur investment would you recommend a beginner for a a start up stage? on: March 17, 2024, 04:47:46 PM
If you've someone being introduced to the crypto world of investment, would you advice then to have their first experience with the AltCoins even as most of the AltCoins volatility potentials are so weak to rely on? If yes, what AltCoin would be best recommended for a beginner in a start up stage like that and if no, what other cryptocurrencies is advised?
ETH and BNB are certainly the right Altcoins for beginners to invest in, these coins are able to minimize the risk of loss for beginners because sometimes when these two coins experience a correction it usually only lasts temporarily and then returns to its base price in a short time so it doesn't disappoint beginners , in contrast to many other altcoins which do not have fundamentals, if the price experiences a significant decline then usually the altcoin is no longer popular among investors so that it slowly no longer has value in the market unlike Ethereum and BNB coins.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the dip people!!! Could be last chance for prices this low on: March 17, 2024, 03:59:10 PM
Bitcoin is currently undergoing a correction back to the $60,000s. Around $68k now, got down to $66k.

This is the time to buy before the bull run really gets going. This MIGHT be the lowest it gets. While a deeper fall during this correction, or another correction in the near future, is certainly possible, this might also be as low as it gets. After the near future, the only time it might get this low again is in like two years on the next bear market, and these prices may be the bottom of the bear market.

So anyone who has money sitting on the sidelines and who wants to buy Bitcoin, today is gonna likely be one of the lowest days we're gonna see for at least the next 18-24 months, and maybe forever! Buy!
Maybe we can say that the $60k level is the lowest area for now as long as the bitcoin price experiences a correction and will most likely remain in that area in the next few days if there is no increase in bitcoin in the next few days. in the near future because $60k is the strongest support for bitcoin during the bullish market this month, but sometimes it can also be that things don't match our predictions because basically the market movement doesn't move the same as we predicted so you need to be patient and doing DCA is an option which is right when you want to buy bitcoin when the price is being corrected.
39  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: March 15, 2024, 01:44:39 PM
Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ?  Is there chance of major correction from here as prices have already peaked now.
They are not stupid, but actually when the price of bitcoin has risen to the highest level like now, they think that in a situation like now they can use it as momentum to gain profits from every movement in the price of bitcoin, basically investors always prepare a mature strategy when they want to invest in bitcoin , in contrast to beginners who only think that investing in bitcoin is a get-rich-quick scheme and relies on luck, so I don't agree if they think that investors who buy bitcoin at peak prices are stupid.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there members here who do monthly investment in bitcoin ? on: March 14, 2024, 05:46:12 PM
Are there members here who do monthly investment in bitcoin irrespective of current prices ? This approach can be really helpful for majority of people like salaried people who get fixed monthly income and can allocate some part of it to bitcoin investment.
We have complete freedom in investing, whether investing for the short term or long term, depending on each individual's expertise to benefit from it, especially so far Bitcoin investment has proven to us that it can provide benefits for us even if we invest in Bitcoin with a strategy. which is different for each individual, so you don't need to doubt the strategy you have prepared because the goal of all of us here is only to make a profit when you want to invest in Bitcoin, not a loss, prepare the strategy carefully. and enter the market when there is momentum to buy bitcoin.
