21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DIVI][ONE-CLICK MASTERNODES] Tiered Masternodes and Smart Wallet Live Now! on: June 24, 2020, 05:36:19 AM
I'm very curious with Divi right now while looking at coinmarketcap charts indicating its nice movement. It's nice to see Divi doing very good especially this month. I hope the momentum keeps going on. This only shows that Divi has a community that gives strong support to the project.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Crazydane's 32 kw solar array build feeding 16 kw worth of miners on: June 17, 2020, 10:47:42 AM
I'm very impressed by the work you've done Dane.

I'm curious, how are your solar powered mining farm doing now?

And btw, do you have a blog elsewhere where I can follow you?
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig keeps restarting on: June 14, 2020, 02:13:05 PM
Sometimes it is one of the cards causing the problem. That's why I agree that you test your cards one by one.

Sometime what's causing the problem are the risers. Sometimes when the PSU is overloaded than what is capable of, can also cause the problem.

It is important to exhaust all the possible hardware problems. Then there is also the software problem to exhaust.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware on: June 12, 2020, 01:44:26 AM
Try the following:

-Right click and run the application through "run as administrator" option.

-Disable the Windows Defender for some time and see if the miner works when it's disabled.

EDIT: it seems like it's a common issue if you Google it (and it's not just with the miner), you may find possible solutions here as well:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware-winpc/windows-10-application-has-been-blocked-from/641352ce-59f9-416e-9c0a-9b8787b9ed56

I think you should first try what I suggested (as most probably, running as an administrator should work out fine), if that doesn't work, then look at the solutions provided by Microsoft support.

Running it as admin, made the minier crash for some reason, and yeah I checked the same link before...

Anyways, I was tired of searching for the solution, so reinstalled windows, and all seems fine at the moment. Hopefully, I found a way to disable windows updates too

How is your rig doing now?

and How did you disable windows update?
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum-Forsage on: June 10, 2020, 01:30:16 AM
It is only good to early investors.

However those Russkies try to make it look legit, with a nice website, YouTube channel, Telegram, Ethereum smart contract, and testimonies, it is nothing but a very clear PONZI scheme!

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QKC] QuarkChain-First Project Fully Implement State Sharding on: June 06, 2020, 04:39:42 PM
I don't quite understand why Binance has not updated QKC to mainnet. Or are they already on on mainnet? I don't understand.

There seem to be a coin and token version of QKC. Kucoin is incompatible with Binance. And mining QKC can only produce coins compatible to transfer to Kucoin and not to Binance. Addresses in Binance are also 8 characters short.

So what is the reason for this. Quarkchain, please have some corrections in the exchanges so not to confuse people and avoid making people lose their  money because moving their QKC to incompatible exchanges such as in Binance.

To developers, please make corrections now, especially now that QKC prices are going up. Because we don't want to lose momentum.

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.9c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: April 30, 2020, 04:59:43 AM
I prefer using Phoenix than Claymore as Phoenix is more stable and won't crash my rig.

Regarding 4gb cards getting obsolete, I heard there is a workaround for 4gb card to be still useful for mining ETH/ETC.

Can anyone share that here with us?

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POS] Bitcoin Token $BTCT - De-centralized Currency. Open Source. on: April 29, 2020, 05:15:15 AM

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.9c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: March 01, 2020, 07:33:41 AM
Im getting this error:

GPU1: not enough VRAM for DAG epoch 329

I think because for mining TC in Nicehash, the 4Gb ram of gpus are insufficient. Any way for dont mine ETC in NH and only mining ETH?

Regards.

EDIT: I solved with -rvram -1

Thank you. This works for 4gb vRam GPUs.

I highly recommend adding it to your configuration file.

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining rig keeps restarting on: February 13, 2020, 01:45:18 AM
Hi op. Are you still mining? Was the problem on this rig been already solved? How is it doing now? I'm interested to know because I have similar problem now. And I'm trying to make my rig dual psu to ease the load of the first psu and to see if it will be solved.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BST BlockStamp - A blockchain fairness ecosystem on: January 14, 2020, 01:41:50 PM

How to mine BST BlockStamp coin? ASIC? GPU? CPU? How?
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: December 03, 2019, 04:51:48 AM
Okay. The proposed algorithm change of ETC is my concern. It should be most miners' concern actually. So ProgPoW is not favorable for the devs. And Sha3 and sticking with EtHash is what's left to be decided upon. I'm not so familiar about Sha3. As a GPU miner, and I'm sure most ETC miners mine with GPU, Sha3 is not favorable to us. Or will it be? Correct me if I am wrong.

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: adrenaline 18.3.4 missing compute toggle on: October 20, 2019, 05:16:33 AM
I believe Vega 64 is by default on compute mode or perhaps it detects to switch automatically to compute or graphics. And it's good that vegas are like that. You don't have to manually switch to compute mode.
