201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China can easily launch a coin while Facebook is having a hard time on: October 30, 2019, 02:43:36 AM
All the talks this week are all about China launching its own coin, they can easily do that because China's main man Xi Jinping is the one who wants China to create one, while Facebook's Libra coin is having a hard time to convince the Congress to let them launch Libra Coin,

It's different between the two coins, one will launch easily while the other is having a hard time with the regulator
On a positive note, I think China's plan will be considered of those who are opposing Facebook plans to launch their coin but of course, it
will be highly regulated compared to China's coin who will be under the supervision of China's Central bank.

What's your thought on this?

all this about jinping, some time ago he said blockchain is very important. and I think this is the beginning of opening crypto for mass adoption. but that's the only thing I know when China later issues its own coins, it's not a crypto because of the centralization. but despite all that one jinping I have begun to soften and pay attention to crypto.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC&ALTS price direct proportional? on: October 29, 2019, 07:20:05 AM
Teach me some crypto history. Did alts price rise in the past when BTC was rising or are there any other patterns showing up?
Everybody's talking about altseason but i'm not sure if i understand the term correctly.
Which tools do you use to track you coins?
Thank you!

according to my experience while being here. bitcoin is a trigger for big pumps. Before altcoin was as popular as it is today, there was no term altcoin season or whatever. so I don't really agree with this term actually. but despite all that, what I know is bitcoin and altcoin are not always directly proportional. just like now when bitcoin has increased, altcoin has no positive impact. but it's the only thing that will definitely be a time when everything rises. so it doesn't matter if bitcoin or altcoin go up first, because in the end it will trigger a pump for the crypto market.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Klaytn ( kakaotalk) project on: October 29, 2019, 02:41:14 AM
This project looks promising, it already done partnership with OkEx which is one of big crypto exchange

OkEx joined Klaytn Ecosystem Partner in 25 Oct. let's see what will happen in the future

sc : klaytn twitter
partnered with OKEx wow ... their development is fast. if it's like this i'm sure this project will be challenging the new top ranked coins. they have highly qualified and reputable partners. this can also be a promotion for the project.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: October 28, 2019, 01:31:02 PM
it's all just because of FOMO ...
I think everyone who invests in cryptocurrency already has basic knowledge to judge whether the project is good or not. but sometimes they seem to forget about it, because they are too greedy. usually they are too pushy to invest despite knowing it's too late. and when they buy some then the price falls. this is what most people often do.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will China start Altcoin Season on: October 28, 2019, 12:01:04 PM
I hope so!

In my opinion many Chinese are feverishly opening accounts right now to invest
Chinese search engines are reporting the Chinese are searching this topic feverishly!
If these guys start investing in the projects that are on the Chinese list of preferred projects I don’t need to tell you what will happen.

As an example, I am invested in Cardano and it is on the list and they also have a solid presence in China

https://www.tronweekly.com/iohk-bringing-cardano-ada-closer-to-chinese-market/

I am not telling you to buy Cardano it is an example. There are many projects on the Chinese preferred  list.
I personally prefer chinese and korea project because they are more into the tech more than other countries, but i don't think china alone is capable of driving the altcoin season, i think bitcoin halving is the only thing that can drive the next altcoin season

You're wrong, halving isn't everything. You can see some time ago when Jinping said the importance of blockhain technology. and look at the market reaction at that time, bitcoin rose high in just a short time. just imagine if China started actively developing crypto(blochain technology) projects, I'm sure the altcoin season will start from china.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project to invest. on: October 27, 2019, 02:45:03 PM
indeed everything you say is important. but I think it can be faked by scammers.

team, they can make it look like all the team members in the project look convincing.
what they have done to prove its credibilitye, if attending conferences/exhibitions or even appearing in public including the way they do it. This can also be done by scammers, you can see there are many projects that do this but in the end it turned out to be a scam. one that I remember, namely the Envion project.

and others I think are the same, scammers who have the funds can do all those things. so I think instead of investing in projects that want to start IEO/ICO, it's better to invest in projects that are already 3/4 months in the market. we can see the true quality and potential. so the risk of loss is slightly reduced.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: today the market looks excited on: October 27, 2019, 01:56:39 PM
ok, I already understood what happened yesterday. and like the effect of the news about jinping has begun to diminish. btc has stopped rising and altcoin is still the same.
It seems I'm late this time, and before thank you for answering my question.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Success factors of a project on: October 26, 2019, 10:55:53 PM
Daily many projects are brought into the market with different ideas and background.
But the question is what makes these projects to perform well in the market. No doubt good technical support is too necessary to lead the project towards success, but even with good technical support and marketing many projects can't survive.
So what matters these days is financial backup or financial support. Before entering the market a project (or ICO) should have enough financial support to compete in the market even in worst conditions.

It's my own analysis so far in this altcoin market.
What are your thoughts?

yes I agree with you, funds are the most important. without financial support, it is difficult to be able to make a successful project. Conducting IEO in large exchanges, promotions & advertising, and to keep prices stable, all require funds. but unfortunately most of these startups don't have that, they only expect from the sale of tokens. whereas to make a successful token sale requires huge funds.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: October 26, 2019, 05:06:24 PM
The first step if those de-listings happen will be the price sadly dropping to just 1 sat

After that, it will just sink unless it remains on big exchanges in popular pairs.

1 sat is minimum. Next target can be a 0.00000001 ETH and then is definitely dead.
I don't think Binance will delist them as long as they have $3+ million volume.

Either way things really are not looking good at all. This was a once promising thriving project with liquid cash to spend on development of their core XPOS product. Mismanagement and overselling the diversification of the products has been at the root of its demise.

According to CMC it has $3+ million 24 hour volume but Binance is trading around $1.2 million of that figure:

NPXS/ETH     $616,284
NPXS/USDT   $583,279
NPXS/USDC   $12,947

I hope Binance do not de-list it otherwise it will it will be dead within weeks.

if binance does, there will be no hope for PundiX. NPXS will be one of shitcoin if that happens. I hope binance doesn't do that, even though the NPXS trading volume decreases.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / today the market looks excited on: October 25, 2019, 05:11:54 PM
hi all ...
I went to a number of exchanges and saw all the green altcoin, having previously fallen between 5-10%.
what really happened, did I miss some important news or was there a speculation / rumor that affected all of this.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 25, 2019, 04:00:10 PM
Those countries you mentioned were not crypto friendly,in China ban on ICO related things,in India banks restricted no legality on Indonesia yet so there are people but not much to influence the government to accept it as legal form of payment.Regulations can't change things for crypto users but for traders it greatly affects so we need to use cryptos more than trading it.

China only prohibits ICO, mining and everything related to money laundering. but not with blockchain technology, a few weeks ago I had read an article about china planned to launch their own crypto coin and be used as a substitute for their currency.

some examples of articles that I read https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-08-12/china-s-pboc-says-its-own-cryptocurrency-is-close-to-release
https://www.techradar.com/news/china-set-to-launch-its-own-cryptocurrency
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/15/china-races-to-launch-a-cryptocurrency-that-could-rival-facebooks.html

and for India or Indonesia, I really do not really know what happened there. but I think that country still has hope for crypto.

And China has started to a lot of things for this. In general, crypto adoption in asia is much better than other regions

yes you're right, adoption there is higher, even if it's just for investment. but we need more than that to make crypto grow.

A lot of big projects in Asia has emerged and it definitely is the biggest market to enter, especially if you're a project that is trying to raise funds.  And I think the reason why is because of countries in Asia are more crypto-friendly compared to the west. They also have developed revolutionary projects that can disrupt existing systems, like a crypto streaming platform that can rival Twitch+Netflix because of crypto integration. Projects who are aiming to help adoption will surely attract more people in the market.

Quote
Asia can be the biggest crypto market?

It can be if Asia keeps evolving, Korea is catching up with the technology and are aiming for wide-spread adoption.

streaming platform is good too, maybe it can be a profitable business model for crypto in the future.

and korea, i forgot this country. indeed this country began to do a massive development for crypto. It looks like they want to defeat Japan as a bustling crypto country in Asia.

Yes, I think Asia can be deservedly called the flagship of the cryptocurrency industry. The only problem is that at the moment Asia can not affect the world economy. To date, the entire global sector of the economy belongs to the United States and in the near future it is unlikely that something will change. Here you can draw a parallel with cryptocurrencies (USA-BTC, Asia-altcoins)

No, the world economy is divided between China and America. unfortunately China still hasn't gained much influence. an example of yesterday's trade war problems between China and America. many say there is no winner, but actually china is better. they are not too affected by the effects of it. while America began to shake. so if China does intend to launch their own crypto, this will be a major breakthrough in the crypto world. although many say the centralized coin is not crypto, but still it uses blockchain technology. so something will definitely change if China does it.

India and Japan are very active on blockchain market. Japan banks made an agreement with Ripple and I do not know when they will start operating with crypto, but this will give a huge boost to the whole industry.
work together, that's all? Come on, there are lots of big companies working with one of the crypto companies, but nothing has changed. because there is no real use resulting from that.

PundiX can be a project that you are looking for. Most of the team member is Asian and the goal of the project is to create a payment system that can be used around the world. Indeed, there are big projects created by Asians, just look more carefully. Or are you waiting for governments movement? If that is what you want, it is still too early. As the mass adoption proceeds, everything will spontaneously be as it should be.

no, I'm not looking for a crypto project. after all, I already knew about the project. what I want to know is the reason why Asia is a potential market, but can't maximize that potential. what the project developer thinks, regardless of regulations. why they just stopped at the idea, while many innovations that they have introduced.

i take the example of the project you said, PundiX. the project focused on crypto payment systems and their platforms are already operating in several countries. simple like this, if they are able to operate it means they have no problems with regulation. then why did they stop at this stage. they don't want to develop. even though it's easy if you want to create mass adoption. they just need to work with more merchants, so that their Platform (XPOS) can be used anywhere. but they don't do that.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your opinion about MinexCoin on: October 24, 2019, 07:19:41 PM

Dear Community

I want to know now is right time to buy/ invest MinexCoin ?

Thank's

minexcoin? this is one of the biggest shitcoins. I remember last year they promised debit cards, but until now there was no news about that. when asked they always say they are doing a trial and so on.

never buy / invest in this coin or you will regret it. minexcoin is a scam project. if you don't believe me, you can visit the Ann thread, there is already plenty of evidence about their fraud.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 24, 2019, 03:18:53 AM
maybe more crypto investors from continental Europe and America. but actually Asia is the biggest market for crypto because it has the most populous countries like China, India and Indonesia. and more importantly, Asia also has fairly stable internet access at the moment, unlike Africa which is still having trouble getting to the internet. many business models that can be applied there, especially in the financial sector such as payment instruments. but why the reality isn't what I imagined. at present crypto is only a notion and there is no real use that can really be applied to crypto except investment.

many think it's all because of the Regulation, but I don't think so. Regulations can be changed and there are currently no regulations that actually prohibit crypto. so this is not the main reason.

then what do you think?
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down on: October 23, 2019, 04:39:35 PM
Bitcoin is back down to $ 7500 and altcoin is also following Bitcoin, is this to buy BTC when it is going down badly or waiting for the price of $ 7,000,

it's better to wait until the situation starts to improve. buying now is not a good choice, we know that the market can get worse. so don't rush to conclude what happened.

but if you want to buy, go ahead. I can only advise
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: October 23, 2019, 02:53:43 PM
coins that are always dumped, coins left by the development team, and other shit coins. all coins like that will die slowly in the future. I will not specify what that coin is. but certainly the coin was almost close to 0sats. You can see it in the market, because now many coins are like that.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Selection of coins, your thoughts? on: October 22, 2019, 07:49:09 PM
Hi All,

i have been buying a little crypto since Sept 2017, not much but some.

I have invested in the following coins and was curious to know what you guys think of my portfolio? Can i get rid of some coins or add?

1) BTC
2) NEO
3) WAVES
4) VET
5) LINK
6) ETN
7) KCS
8 ) UTK
9) DAG
10) XBY
11) REBL

Appreciate your responses.

btc, neo, waves, and kcs is good.
but aren't you worried about the portfolio? isn't that too much altcoin, are you sure you can pay attention to any news from the coins that you hold?

I suggest, why don't you streamline your portfolio a little, by selling a few coins that have already made a profit. too much holding a coin will only make you dizzy thinking about it every day.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i trust new IEO on the new exchange? on: October 22, 2019, 04:51:59 PM
can anyone invest in new IEO listing in new exchange or it will be risk, i think if the price is low, it have the chance to increase, o what is the experts opinion?
you will never be able to believe it. even if the exchange has a good reputation, it is difficult to make IEO a successful in new exchange. the main problem why IEO will experience difficulties is because the trading volume is still below standard.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Altcoins ? on: October 21, 2019, 05:03:52 PM
for altcoin shit will die sooner or later. and for altcoin that still has potential, I think it will last. even when the bear market lasts longer. so as long as we invest in good altcoin, there's no need to worry about the future. so starting from now more selective in choosing which coins you want to buy in the market.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My speculation for 2020 on: October 21, 2019, 04:30:24 PM
It seems like Coinbase wants to get a lot of money from new projects. they seem to be jealous of the achievement of binance in influencing IEO. I want to see how they will make a surprise next year. if there will be a big manipulation in the market, we'll see.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO exchanges not required KYC on: October 20, 2019, 11:55:47 PM
I think all CEX now needs KYC, whether it's for IEO or not. so one by one way might be with DEX, but I doubt there is a dex that has an IEO service. even if there is it is very risky, because in ordinary exchanges still have the potential for scams.
