201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NEMOSMINER multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner on: November 22, 2017, 04:43:39 PM
Never mind, I just replaced the executable and will test it now.
What locations do you support?
ASIA, EUR and US?

Is it EUR or EU?

Nevermind, I changed servers from ASIA to US and EUROPE, seems like US and EUROPE servers are FASTER than Asia, since now my reporting hashrate went from 6 to 9 ( still less than 13 )
Who would have though, live in ASIA.

Now I changed to the Europe server my reported hashrate on the MiningPoolHub website now shows 10.96. ( much better than 6 using the Asia server )
Bottom line, even if you live in Asia, DO NOT USE THE ASIA SERVERS.
They suck.

Hey guys,
I am running ccminer from this directory ( or actually the nemos miner is doing it automagically ):
NVIDIA-TPruvotcuda9.  The executable is ccminer.exe size 11903KB.

I was told to run the new miner program here:
https://github.com/djm34/ccminer-msvc2015/releases/tag/v0.2.1

In this directory there are 2 executable files:
ccminer.exe
and
ccminer_cuda9.exe

I have 2 questions, which file do I use and how can I incorporate this into nemosMiner ( or how can I make nemosminer use this new up to date latest build ? )

The reason is because I am currently mining ZCoin and on my PC it shows a hashrate of 13.39 MH/s, but on the MiningPoolHub Dashboard for ZCoin it is displaying ony 6.00???

Any ideas please?

ps. I left this message on the other miners forum:
Sorry to say but this MulIPool miner is absolute garbage, I spent 2 days trying to get this thing to run stable on my system.
After windows blocked the miner program from accessing my video card, I finally gave up.
I had to manually copy dll's from here and there, followed all the instructions, then all sorts of issues.
I never had any issues with NeoMiner autoswitching program.
Going back to that one.
Good riddance

Hi guys! Can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong! In my local PC I have the following Hash Rate but in the Dashboard I am seeing something else. I am using also MultiPoolMiner and its currently using CcminerLyra2z-Lyra2z.

Lyra2z Local: 1750 - 1770 kh
Zcoin Dashboard: 1.26 - 1.44 MH/s

I saw the following post but I am not sure if they are talking about the error or the low hash rate.

Hi, I am currently mining ZCoin and on my PC it shows a hashrate of 9.65 MH/s, but on the MiningPoolHub Dashboard for ZCoin it is displaying ony 4.36.
Is this normal?
Not only that now I am getting an error that zm.exe has been blocked from accessing the graphics hardware. wtf

I believe you are nvidia user using ccminer.
Try djm34's latest ccminer build. It's listed on zcoin pool homepage.

FYI, MultiPoolMiner is using this one (which is correct):
https://github.com/djm34/ccminer-msvc2015/releases/download/v0.2.1/ccminer_cuda9.exe

I am trying to run nemos miner and it is mining lyra2z algorithm (Zcoin) and it is using port 17025.   But when I go to the MiningPoolHub website, it says zcoin pool should be 20581?
The reason why I am asking is because on the website I cannot see the status moving on the website?
Oh never mind I see it now at 7.04 MH/s displaying on the dashboard, ( even though I am mining at 13 ish )
I guess I will wait 24 hours to see the status ( hopefully it does not crash and burn again )

What say you?

Hi,
I am using your Neosminer on miningpoolhub and I found something peculiar.
When I run the script below for Skien algorithm:

powershell -version 5.0 -noexit -executionpolicy bypass -windowstyle maximized -command "&.\NemosMiner-v2.2.ps1 -SelGPUEWBF '0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7' -SelGPUCC '0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7' -Currency USD -Passwordcurrency BTC -interval 120 -Username fynxgloire.Mining1070 miningpoolhub -Location US -PoolName miningpoolhub -Type nvidia -Algorithm skein -Donate 5

I DO NOT see any statistics on the top of the screen ( like how much are the earnings per day etc. )
I already created a worker manually called: Mining1070 on miningpoolhub.
I then logged into miningpoolhub and for some reason ANOTHER worker was added with this name:
Mining1070.ID=NemosMiner-v2.2

May I ask why is this new worker added on the website settings for this algorithm Digibyte-Skein Pool?

Should I delete this newly added worker from miningpoolhub?

Is this in any way affecting why I cannot see earnings per day running this script?

Could the Nemos miner be used to Switch between coins *same algo*  based on Diff? and gain the coins and not btc?

I am not sure if nemos miner can.
I did try out MultiPoolMiner which could do this but it was unstabel as crap.
I would not touch that thing with a 10 foot pole ever again.

Has anyone had any issues with withdrawing funds from stocks.exchange?
I made a withdrawal request 2 days ago and have yet to receive my bitcoins.
You might want to make sure you can withdraw funds before you lemmings all start to mine this.

yep..rub salt in the wound
sorry did not want to hurt you,  but if somebody bought 10 D3s, he will be able to get 1 S9 free of charge.

You can only use 1 coupon per product.
So no I cannot get a free S9.  If I wanted to use all of my 10 coupons I would have to buy 10 S9's !!

Is anyone dual mining ether and decred.
I have some 1070's I like to try this with.
Can anyone help with the script file?
Also anyone with a script file that can help in times of errors thrown by GPU malfunction / restarting, getting 0 hash rates, some way to automatically restart the miner if there is an issue?

This should be useful to you:
https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/releases/

Thx for link, is this miner similar to the nemos miner?  Which one is better?
I noticed it points to miningpoolhub, is that better than ahashpool?

219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡⛏️[ANN] Giga Watt: Best Home for your Mining. Starts today! on: November 15, 2017, 04:11:15 PM
Does anyone know if giga-watt ( scam ) has a slack or telegram channel?  They are not responding to my emails.

regards
https://web.telegram.org/#/im?p=@wtt_token

I emailed GW yesterday and they were very quick to respond, forthright, and refreshing.  I doubted the program at first also because I didn't see much going on and some of the things they said weren't getting done (like token release).  I'm guessing they didn't have all their ducks in a row when they started and didn't communicate it well.

The PODs are almost all up and running for the initial token investors.  Lots of stuff to keep track of for them and new rules.  Can you imagine how far ahead they will be compared to other compeditors here in the states.  They should be trusted.

This has nothing to do with pods or anything I bought from them ( which I have not bought nor ever will buy )
They promised me that I could store my miners that I bought directly from BITMAIN at their site.
Hence I gave Bitmain their delivery address.
Then giga-watt said, oops sorry we can't host your miners.
Bitmain could not change their delivery address.
My miners got delivered to giga-waat on Tuesday of this week. ( 2 days ago )
YET they have not contacted me or responded to any of my emails.
I sent them a number of emails asking them to redeliver the miners to me.
No response.
I will call them when they get into the office later today.
That is all
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: November 15, 2017, 11:32:41 AM
Is this coin worth mining?

You can check it like this.
Check hashrate of your hardware: http://monerobenchmarks.info/
The hashrate is same for intense because it use cryptonight algo which is same as monero.

Go to a mining pool like http://itns.intensepool.net/
Enter your hashrate in "Estimate Mining Profits" form.
As an example I get 500 H/s with my Ryzen 7 1700 CPU so I enter 0.5 kH/s in the form.
The response right now is 1088 ITNS/day. This value is changing depending on mining difficulty but it is an estimate of the profit right now.

Check the value of ITNS on stocks.exchange
Right now 1 ITNS has been can be sold for 0.00000018 BTC (highest buying bid)
1088 ITNS = 1088 * 0.00000018 BTC = 0.00019584 BTC

Check value of 1 BTC
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
1 BTC = $6930

1088 ITNS = $6930 * 0.00019584 = $1.36

There is better hardware like AMD Vega 56 GPU that with tweaking can get 2000 H/s.

As Always you have to think of price of electricity, Power draw and price of hardware. If you beleive the value of the Intense coin will rise in future it might be even more profitable to mining and holding the coins. But so far has mining been quite profitable.

Ok I got a 1070, and according to the site it says I should get 500 H/s.  ( same as you )
I guess the profit is the same as ZCASH.
I have to read up more on this, not sure if I should change.

thx

I get 700 H/s with my GTX 1070 (overclocked memory and lowered Power limit).
Go to list benchmarks, nvidia highest to lowest you can see that 700 H/s (or a bit more) is possible.
I use xmrig-nvidia mining software (you can lower fee to 1% in settings because 5% default is too much)

Edit: My GTX 1060 3GB get around 500 H/S.
Another thing to consider is that Power draw mining intense (or monero) is lower than Zcash. My cards runs with a lower temperarure when mining and I can lower the fan speed a bit if I want.

Sounds cool,
well how about i just throw $100 at it and store it in my wallet for the next few years?
Can I buy this at the exchange and store it in my wallet ( that I will download now )
I am just to greedy. I want it all
