Is this coin worth mining?

Yes it is! You need to think for future and pe patient. When price rise on 500-1000 satoshi you will be sorry why you have not mined now when diff is so low.

Is this coin worth mining?

You can check it like this.
Check hashrate of your hardware: http://monerobenchmarks.info/
The hashrate is same for intense because it use cryptonight algo which is same as monero.

Go to a mining pool like http://itns.intensepool.net/
Enter your hashrate in "Estimate Mining Profits" form.
As an example I get 500 H/s with my Ryzen 7 1700 CPU so I enter 0.5 kH/s in the form.
The response right now is 1088 ITNS/day. This value is changing depending on mining difficulty but it is an estimate of the profit right now.

Check the value of ITNS on stocks.exchange
Right now 1 ITNS has been can be sold for 0.00000018 BTC (highest buying bid)
1088 ITNS = 1088 * 0.00000018 BTC = 0.00019584 BTC

Check value of 1 BTC
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/
1 BTC = $6930

1088 ITNS = $6930 * 0.00019584 = $1.36

There is better hardware like AMD Vega 56 GPU that with tweaking can get 2000 H/s.

As Always you have to think of price of electricity, Power draw and price of hardware. If you beleive the value of the Intense coin will rise in future it might be even more profitable to mining and holding the coins. But so far has mining been quite profitable.

Ok I got a 1070, and according to the site it says I should get 500 H/s.  ( same as you )
I guess the profit is the same as ZCASH.
I have to read up more on this, not sure if I should change.

thx

I get 700 H/s with my GTX 1070 (overclocked memory and lowered Power limit).
Go to list benchmarks, nvidia highest to lowest you can see that 700 H/s (or a bit more) is possible.
I use xmrig-nvidia mining software (you can lower fee to 1% in settings because 5% default is too much)

Edit: My GTX 1060 3GB get around 500 H/S.
Another thing to consider is that Power draw mining intense (or monero) is lower than Zcash. My cards runs with a lower temperarure when mining and I can lower the fan speed a bit if I want.

I believe main problem of Intense is a too big total coin supply, even with current huge(for cryptonight coin) net hashrate its too simple to mine ITNS. Somekind of reducing total supply might help to lift up price, maybe decreasing of block reward, idk... Just my 5 cents.

It is just a matter of where they put the decimal point. I think it is fun to get a lot of coins even if each coin is not worth much. All of the coins you get are together worth something. The block rewards will be automatically decreased over time and the net hashrate is very low for intense coin compared to other coins so far. If the numbers go to MH/s instead of kH/s we will get less coins in mining rewards for the same mining hashrate. This may not be a problem because the price will also rise in future. This coin is still very young.

In 2 years you maybe get 10 coins / day instead of 1000 for mining with one GPU but the price of each coin may be 100x higher than today. This is also the reason I don't want to sell my ITNS coins yet.

Part two on my adventures on stocks.exchange

Bought eth with my btc coz withdrawal fee for eth is 0.002 eth

Tried to happily withdraw them....oh wait...no...withdrawal error...-.-

I do understand that....but in a time where many exchanges popup, stocks.exchange should excel in something or provide a feature that makes them attractive as a service. If their withdrawal fees are not competitive and 4 out of 10 withdrawals end in error (from my pers. experience, maybe im just super unlucky) then there is a need of improvement, else the investors will look for anther exchange.

you can see this opinion reflecting in the huge spread on each trading pair.
