201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It costs less to mine gold than it does to mine Bitcoin on: July 02, 2019, 12:33:47 AM
In some point it may be true. But let us take a look on the supply of gold, is it numerous that it can be easy to mine? It may be cost less than mining bitcoin but it is difficult to find. Gold is just a resemblance of mining in bitcoin. Therefore, it is not right to compare mining in bitcoin and mining a gold literally.
The supply of gold is undetermined and that's why its value is still less compare to bitcoin which is only have limited supply. Bitcoin and gold mining are both costly because you have to get advance technology for you to mine, especially on gold which requires a lot of force work while bitcoin can be mine with minimal personnel.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new kind of scam in telegram using gambling site on: July 01, 2019, 11:44:43 PM
Thank you for the info, telegram is so easily accessible and so easy for deleted accounts. Hidden conversations are also often by people to hide facts, hoping you're not caught in the trap of deception anymore.
There’s so many scam accounts on telegram making advertisements and also someone will ask for the money, and your personal details so take yourself away from the scam. Gambling scam they’ll promise you profit but its not true, don’t attract on that.
203  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [Question] Facebook's Coin on: July 01, 2019, 10:53:39 PM

A centralized coin is not a purpose of cryptocurrency, kaya medyo mahirap for Libra coin sa ngayon pero i think matatanggap paren naman natin ito.

When did you start doing bounty? and what are the kind of task you do in a bounty?
Me, I was active in 2017 and focus more on signature campaign only but I experience great profit that time, eve in the early 2018, bounty was still good.
Tama sa tingin ko didipende parin talaga sa gagawin mo on the specific bounties and kung gaano ka kasipag magbounty. I also have good profit before with the bounties though hinde kalakihan pero masasabi ko namang profit talaga. Sa ngayon signature campaign nalang ako umaasa, and so far worth it paren naman sya hanggang ngayon. Sana nga bumalik na yung mga magagandang bounties, siguro mangyayari ito kapag nasa bull market na tayo.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: July 01, 2019, 11:32:45 AM
Gamble can be persuaded with those people who are high interest to play gamble. Eventually, this field has been penetrated with many people as an entertainment that accompany on stress reliever. And I think we don't need to convince people who don't show interest on the field.
Introduce gambling if you really want to have fun with your friend but don't convince them, this two is different. Its true that if people are not interested to gamble then respect his decision. Gambling is just a losing game even if you have fun, and some people are not afford to lose money so don't convince them.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: July 01, 2019, 04:37:52 AM
Will you trust a project that the one that announced it in the announcement thread is a legendary member even though the legendary has announced that he is not part of the team and was just part of the service he offered.

Let me know your thoughts here.
Yes, but you still need to see the project itself and you have to do analyze it before investing because your account here is just a part of marketing strategy. Any ranks can make introduce new project, but if its a legendary and trusted account then it can be a plus point to you but don’t rely to them.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is irreversible: strength and weakness on: July 01, 2019, 03:16:38 AM
Even fiat and gold are irreversible in many ways.
Bitcoin was created with multiple functions and it's just disappointing somehow that we notice its weaknesses more than its strengths when in fact, it is just visible when being used in an illegal way.
We should accept the fact that Bitcoin itself wasn't created perfectly and it's still on the process of improvement so it is just for us to deal with these lapses.
Indeed, bitcoin is not perfect that's why altcoins are created i guess for that purpose and we can't really see this technology to run without having nay problem. If you do a mistake on your transactions then you must accept that its irreversible even if they hack you, no on can give that money back to you under the blockchain technology. We have to be more open for more improvements, we should not criticize every development like the adoption of many companies.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Seize $1.5 Million in FIFA Gambling Crackdown on: July 01, 2019, 02:33:07 AM
Wow looks like the Chinese are even using crypto to gamble locally, that's somewhat exciting news. The more use it gets there, the better.

Is there legislation in China about using crypto to gamble or is this just strict government control with no oversight going on?
There’s a strict regulations for sure but if you gamble in wrong things you might ended up like this. This is a lot of money, and maybe there’s a irregulaties witht the organizer and that’s why the authorities arrested the organizer. Well, its a big money and I think China will be strict again.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SUMO WRESTLING is it entertaining? on: July 01, 2019, 01:45:54 AM
I find that sumo is very entertaining and also part of important culture, the result of the match sometimes cant be predictable, its really suitable for betting, but the one that interested is really little so I dont think its going to be popular if its put into gambling site
Its a good Japanese culture and I always see that as an entertaining watching the previous match of youtube but I hope we don’t bully them because I feel bad for them for beeing like that, i mean they are working hard for that. Since its only happening in Japan i also think that it will be hard to have betting site on that.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wallet Satoshi or not? on: June 30, 2019, 10:49:59 PM
Why do you think this is the purse of satoshi? Do you have any proof? I know many peoples who owned more than 100 BTC .
Exactly, so many whales already in the market and its hard to know if this is the real wallet of Satoshi not unless we have the valuable resources for that, but so far even if we made a lot if investigation Satoshi is still unknown.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calculate how much is Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2019, 09:50:18 PM
For me it's lucky
BTC and cryptos are almost impossible to predict, and we have lot of "specialists" of cryptos and each one have a different value, obviously one of then will get the correct number

Personally I prefer to follow the trends and I'm happy with my results
That’s how you calculate the value of bitcoin, and Its good to see that you made a good decision. There are so many ways to calculate bitcoin, sometimes in depends on how you look at it and how you interpret the market, in my view i just look at the chart of bitcoin and by there you can see the real value of BTC.
212  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitcoin Social Media Lists on: June 30, 2019, 01:45:58 PM
Ok itong mga list na ito, and siguro its better if the OP can add the list on the top exchanges and some good wallets that can work well here in the Philippines. Mostly sa facebook and twitter lang ako naguupdate about cryptos and so far effective naman sila to give infos about cryptocurrency.
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Downward Trend on: June 30, 2019, 12:41:06 PM
Is current crypto downward trend only temporary?
Its not a downtrend but a pullback and I hope its temporary trend. The uptrend are still strong in the chart right now and the price are already stabilize on the price on $11k - $12k, this is a good sign that the price will no longer drop on that level, let’s hope for best price again.
214  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Need advice in cashing in/out btc or other crypto on: June 30, 2019, 09:36:03 AM
Medyo garapalan lang talaga ang rate ni coins.ph and di ko sure ko legit price ba yung basis nila or what pero if you really transfer using BTC i think its not good to use coins.ph. If you’re buying bitcoin naman mas ok kung sa tao ka nalang bumili at ok kung btc to btc using coins.ph, wag ka nalang mag transact ng marami if maliit lang yung value kase magastos sa fees.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Complete list of IEO on: June 30, 2019, 04:44:36 AM
Does anyone have the complete list of IEO occurred from the beginning to till now? I'm having a little research on IEO based coin for investment purpose. I have only couple of them which have occured In Binance.
You can simply look for the IEO reviews and you will find many good projects there. But from the start it might be hard, better to look for the current IEO who’s running on the exchanges now and do your analysis. Binance is a good exchange for IEO, those are good projects.
216  Other / Off-topic / Re: Kleiman v. Wright case 6/28/19 (show cause) hearing likely open... follow 'live' on: June 30, 2019, 12:16:02 AM
I'm wondering about 1 thing.

What is his excuse for not being able to sign any message with satoshi's private keys? I mean it would be so easy to prove ownership he must have given a reason for that. But I couldn't find anything valid...
Because he’s not the real Satoshi and now facing a criminal case, well the table has turned around against him its now to know the truth. We have to forget about Craig when he reaches the jail. This is going to become the topic world wide, and Craig will soon seek for another sympathy.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will altcoins join the rally!!! on: June 29, 2019, 11:24:50 PM
Because the price of bitcoin is high then the altcoin will also follow it but it will slowly not be the same as bitcoin, but the altcoin also has the potential to go to the moon,
It can’t be big like bitcoin but altcoins pump will begin now. The next uptrend will be on both bitcoin and altcoins, i hope to see my altcoins pumping like eth, utk and bnb. We will go to the moon, next year will be the pump but we have to start it the trend again and be hopeful for that. Altcoins will join very soon, it will be big i hope so.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTOPIA SHUTTING DOWN: Investor losses on: June 29, 2019, 09:51:33 PM
This is where I believe that SEC or some regulatory body should come in play to prevent and protect this sort of ugly incidence which will put investors in heart ache. Even if an exchange wants to fold up, then someone should fall with it as well as insurance fees
They must return all the coins of the users, there must be a clear liquidation even if there’s no regulations because for sure Cryptopia is just closing their exchange and make a new one since they know the opportunuties in the market. I doubt that they will totally leave the market easily, we should watch out for this.
219  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Trending sa GooglePH, Senyales ng Adoption? on: June 29, 2019, 09:16:33 PM
Siguro nangyayari talaga ito once na tumataas ang price ni bitcoin since everyone is watching bitcoin pero i know naman na namumulat na tayo sa kung ano talaga si bitcoin. Hinde man ito ang adoption na gusto natin mangyari, peron this is a new step towards that goal, kaya sana keep on encouraging your friends to learn more about bitcoin.
220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to trade WITHOUT exchange? on: June 29, 2019, 12:02:02 PM
Since bitcoin is programmable, is it possible that many people just trade through command line under Linux? This way, we could avoid fees related to exchanges.
Its possible to trade without exchanges, here in my place you can do that using our local wallet (coins.ph). There might be no fees on doing that but there's a big difference on the price of buy and sell so I guess it is still not good to use that wallet as your trading platform. The fees on exchanges are not that high if you are trading big, so I think its better to use the exchanges and of course you can choose many coins which I think the advantage.
