81  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISCUSSION] Candidate for the next Merit Source. on: July 21, 2019, 05:31:08 AM
We are looking for something extraordinary, yung bago sa atin, yung hindi pa natin nakikita. They can't even reply to this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5167260.0 samantalang basic knowledge lang siya for knowing bitcoin mining.  Huh
Actually that's a great topic you created, pero sobrang hirap kase talaga piliting yung mga tao na magcomment sa isang topic na hinde naman sila interesado kaya siguro hinde masyadong active ang local board naten.

With regards to new merit source, I think the application of crwth is still pending or got no response at all so if may magtatangka ulit na mag apply I'm sure naman na magiging supportive tayo dito.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the end of crypto? on: July 20, 2019, 11:47:37 PM
I think most of us have a same situation like you. I think we have to stay strong and believe that this bottoming season will pass, and crypto will be back to its glory.

i think the bottoming season already over, maybe now we are on preparations season for the bullish trend
just make sure, you are hodl the right cryptocurrency  Wink
We are heading into a new era where cryptocurrency are more stable and of course more expensive in value. The bottom is over, I’m confident about bitcoin and other altcoins now we have to think for a better future, hold many coins with great value as you can. The pump will start again, its proven.
83  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Anong Coins o Altcoins ang Pwedeng Sumabay Kay Bitcoin on: July 20, 2019, 11:06:08 PM
Sa tingin ko kung magkataon, only ETH can compete with bitcoin and alam naman naten na kapag tumataas si bitcoin, ETH also follows pero hinde paren tayo nakakasigurado kase marami and pwedeng mangyari at sa future baka si bitcoin paren talaga ang magtagumpay.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc $300, $3000 on: July 20, 2019, 10:19:18 PM
Could Bitcoin's price return to $300 again this year?

$3000?
It could but it wont happen, bitcoin will continue to survive and continue to achieve the peak. I don’t see that dumped price, its pretty low for bitcoin and its pretty low for a whales which will make them lose big money. They will pump it as expected, calm down now because the price is ok again.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin so valuable just because it was first? on: July 20, 2019, 11:15:24 AM
in general, the duration of time for transaction confirmation requires 10 to 30 minutes.  if the transaction is high, it will not take a long time.
in my opinion, BTC fluctuations make popularity increase every time and create a mainstream in every market.  profit from volatility is greater than transaction costs, so until today, BTC still has a large volume.
We can also say that the hype is really strong with bitcoin, and somehow bitcoin being hailed because he started this revolution, he started to help people and until now bitcoin keeps on working hard to attract new investors. Being a top coin is not easy, I’m happy that until now bitcoin is on top.
86  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [GABAY] UPANG MAIWASAN ANG RED TAG MULA SA PAG-PROMOTE NG KILALANG SCAM on: July 20, 2019, 03:50:37 AM
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ASKING FOR KYC VERIFICATION on: July 20, 2019, 02:36:13 AM
Unless there is a large carrot dangling before me, I will refuse all KYC bounty, not worth trading your privacy for peanuts
No peanuts at all because those are shitcoins and no value at all so its not worth to risk your personal details. This is not new since last year many project and bounties are asking for KYC guess what, no one know where they are now because they are done doing their job, to get more information coming from us. If KYC is needed, think again before participating because it can be a scam.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: July 20, 2019, 01:47:39 AM
the whole loot box thing prays on gambling addicts, its the same formula of puting in money to get some random reward, it even has nice sounds and graphics like slot machines.
That loot box makes the game more interesting, video game gambling addiction is quiet ok with moderation compare to other gambling games. Gamers wants to earn money as well and through their skill, they will do their best just to get the money they wanted to. But in gambling, even if its a video game your luck is still matter.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambler's Fallacy (The key to unbiased gambling) on: July 19, 2019, 11:58:50 PM
This is a very good idea and not bias on us gamblers, we become bad in gambling into other eyes because they know that gambling might get you addicted gamblers if you don't know how to handle with it perhaps better to quit in gambling. One of the best aspects of gambling addiction is to chase profit on gambling which is a very bad idea. Gamble that you can afford and enjoy every moment that you are in gambling site because it's a cool and wise move.
This is the thinking of ordinary people who don’t understand gambling, they see people who goes to casinos are bad but we can’t deny the fact that a lot of gamblers becomes addict as well. Gamble excess money, stay fit and always have fun. Gambling is not always take profit, its bad if you do bad decisions and take more greed.
90  Local / Pamilihan / Re: DEX's KYC on: July 19, 2019, 11:23:35 PM
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank to released "Stable Coin" on: July 19, 2019, 10:59:16 PM
I'm so glad that one of the major banks in my country has finally embraced and recognized the benefits of utilizing blockchain technology and this development could also pave the way for more adoption among major banks and the Filipino people in general. Smiley
There’s a big support for cryptocurrency and knowing banks to adopt it for sure they are preparing as well for the great future. If many banks do this in order for them to survive i have no doubt that many banks will also follow, especially the international banks like JP Morgan and many more.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Now I know why eSports prize pools go over millions of dollars! on: July 19, 2019, 10:32:30 PM
But sometimes, those gamers who put all their time playing just wants to kill time and enjoy wasting money without any goals at all.
No, they aren't killing time after choosing to get into the professional scene. Professional e-sports players are like athletes that dedicated most of their time and life to the chosen sport. Do you think those sports athletes are just killing time and enjoy wasting money without any goals?
You are looking to them as if e-sports pro scene is just all about killing time.

thats right . its not what you call wasting/killing time but that is already thier profession  . they dont also waste thier money but they earn money thru playing because pro players have a sponsors  . infact they even earn more salary than any other regular jobs out there , so dont under estimate pro gamers  . there are items that we can buy on games but i think the purpose on why they make those items is also for the profit and not to add on the prize pool  . prize pool is i think sponsored
There are some group of people who really works for this purpose, they play to have fun and to received salary from their sponsors. I saw this on many groups of gamblers, of course if a capitalist saw your skills and potential in gambling they will hire you to play for them. The prize pool becomes millions to attract players, sometimes those who won that prize are also part of the owner of the casinos.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy Monero then Hold? on: July 19, 2019, 01:43:55 PM
Monero has a good future and is also a coin that is suitable for long-term holdings, so don't forget to include Monero on your list.
I don’t see any hype on this but this coin is really good to hold for, and the future is getting better for Monero. If the supply gets limited, the price will boom. Its time to buy, hold and buy again don’t forget to diversified your money with Monero coin.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs. Big Companies on: July 19, 2019, 01:16:09 PM
I think ethereum will be on top soon, personally im looking forward to Eth 2.0 that has been announced to go live in january 2020 so if eth network is able to get rid of all its outstanding issues then surely 2020 is going to be huge for eth.
We are waiting for upgrade and even if there’s a new company to create coin they can’t beat the top position altcoins easily. Its cheap, but its technology is more than enough compare to any blockchain technology, smart contracts makes ETH ahead so nothing to worry.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: July 19, 2019, 12:14:39 PM
~snip
Imagine when you can't win in lotto , soccer betting or whatever you call it, you don't have a chance in slots.

Once you enter in gambling world don't expect that you can be rich through with it.
That's why those people who always depend their profit in luck are very suitable for go in gambling site.
But the reality is that when you in the actual gambling I think only 5 percents is your chance for you to win
every games they have.

The 5% win is only for gamblers who rely on luck on every bet. In contrast to gamblers who play gambling with a strategy, they have a much higher win rate even though they don't always win, at least the percentage of profits is much better.
Strategies are working sometime but not always, yes the probability to win is high when you are using any strategy because you know what you are doing. Some people win less because they just want to have fund and that is gambling. If you really serious to make money on gambling then don't think that your strategies will work always, because its not true.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎾🏆 Wimbledon 2019 - Discussion Thread 🏆🎾 on: July 18, 2019, 11:52:36 PM
We got the result now and Djokovic really did well on all of his match. I’m surprised with the result of women’s single and the first time title holder Simona Halep made a lot of impact on the court. This season is great, a very intense game hope to see more on the next tournament.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will NEO and ETH reach ATH in next bull run??? What you think guys??? on: July 18, 2019, 10:56:14 PM
I think there is a possibility that NEO and ETH are going to reach ATH in the next bull run. ETH and NEO are no bullshit coins and has a good background. Things like that can really happen unless the altcoins are shit.
They are top and solid altcoins so i also believe that when the bull run started, NEO and ETH will create their new ATH. If its a top coins I feel the assurance of making profit because they are not shitcoins and they work hard to develop the project every year, they deserve to make new ATH.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: July 18, 2019, 12:27:22 PM
Winning in gambling can be experienced by any of the user, but the same won't continue. People never understand this reality and starts to bet continuous without analyzing better, but relying over the luck most of the time. This will never get you winning, but causes frustration when what we believed never strikes the reality.
Lol people understand that they are losing but the problem is the eagerness to win that most turns into greediness.

But I believe that if we can find the real essence of gambling?no one else will turns addicting instead they will use this as unwinding and relieving

Money is involved in gambling so most people see it as a way to earn extra cash. Gambling is a form of entertainment and must be played that way but most people don't see that. Some get addicted because they are desperate to earn.
We cannot win consistently so better to just play and don’t be greedy. People see this as an extra income which is not acceptable because gambling is risky. Those who played with the greed are now down and broke, I’m afraid to be like them and that’s why I play with control.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sending BTC from Gambling Site to Binance? on: July 18, 2019, 10:36:55 AM
I used some gambling sites to transfer fund on some exchange like bittrex and poloniex, so far everything went well and I’m confident that it can also work with Binance. Gambling sites usually have no restriction on where you will send the money, but the exchange have the regulations like this so better to know the rules of that exchange before transferring funds.
