1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: January 16, 2019, 02:49:31 PM
That depends on how much your patience when you gambling. If you are in a hurry and are tempted by emotions to raise a bet but it turns out you lost because you were too emotional. Then obviously it's just a waste of money.
When I gamble, I always rely on patience so I can enjoy the game. So, by playing like that, I cannot conclude that the game is just a waste of time.
If you lose money and you’ve enjoy playing, that money is worth it because gambling is good for that. If you gamble without making any plan, I think soon you will just lose the money and you will regret it. If you don’t want to waste money then come in casinos well prepared, and have a good strategies.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Pocket Strategy on: January 16, 2019, 12:01:22 PM
This can only help if you have a strong control on yourself because for me even if you set aside some profit while gambling if its still on your pocket you will still be tempted to use it when you lose. Better to bring only the money you afford to lose that day and just enjoy playing, don’t focus much on the money.
1063  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Do You Think 2019 Will Be Different? on: January 16, 2019, 10:14:51 AM
2019 Will become better for us if we are united to promote crrprocurrency. But not only means that we have in new year they still good news be here they still have bad news that we can gets if the people spreading nagative and bad news to us. It will become different this year because this year when the market expected that the value of the bitcoins and altcoin will probably recover and increase more.
This will not happen, people will not be united in promoting cryptocurrency because more greedy people are in the market and they will do everything to spread negatives news that can hurt the market. 2019 will be different because it will survive for whatever dumps that will happen this year, we are stronger now than before and I know good things comes to those who wait and invest.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where we are now with Gambling on: January 16, 2019, 05:21:27 AM
Well the generation of gamblers have shifted already to the more convenient online casinos. It's just how things are dude. Times change. Though there still are gambling meccas like las vegas that will never run out of old school gamblers. And these are the types that deal with real bigtime money.
Most of those casinos are already adopting the online gaming and I think, they will still be in this market as many traditional gambler still want to go and play in casinos. Online gambling is growing as we continue to invent new technologies, but I still believe that the traditional casinos will stay for good. Even if there is a new technology out it the market, some people still want to become simple and live just like the old days.
1065  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: January 15, 2019, 11:34:06 PM
They lost around 20k ETH.
A token listing there cost 350 ETH at one point (paid in DOT).
They listed around 500 tokens.
Their fees are amongst the highest in crypto.

I think they have a responsibility to use their profits and put the exchange back on live.
They will live again only if they are serious to solve this problem. its sad to hear another news like this and I thought we already learn from the previous hacking incedents with the big exchanges.

"NOT YOUR KEYS, NOT YOUR BITCOIN" -Aantonop
I’m quiet scared on this line, and I hope no more exchange will be hack especially with binance.
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big day for ETH on: January 15, 2019, 10:43:47 PM
The fork will happen on January 16, 2019 - right?
So do you think this can be a great day for ETH or just a normal update?
The price right now is not making any big move, what do you think will happen tomorrow?
I think there will be no major pump for ETH since the price are still down and there is no much volume in the chart. It is expected to bring the price up but I think we failed on that again. This is gonna be a normal day for ETH, sad but true. There’s a delay on this I think, we still have the chance to pump the price but don’t expect too much.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: what should consider before investing in a coin? on: January 15, 2019, 09:38:59 PM
Participation in ICO or investment at pre-ICO stage is a very risky step. Its just like purchasing a shop on 40th floor and the ground floor of that shopping mall is just start to build.
There are so many ideas/concepts is trying to prevail in the market but is there any formula to separate strong project from scams/weak projects.

Which scale should an investor use to go before investing in a coin? Is it the code, or the system it based, or their community strength, or is it depends on their venture capital that how much big it is?

Consider everything if you want to be more sure. Investing on ICO is risky, so its better to know the whole project than to know limited information. ICO’s are not profitable to invest right now we can lose big money if we ended up in a scam project. Take extra effort or better to wait for the ICO to recover from its big dump before you invest again.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: January 15, 2019, 03:55:07 PM
Im hard to quit a gambling, you know, I was fascinated with it and co-friends, thanks for your advises.
Hard but not impossible so when someone really want to get away from gambling they need to have some other intention to quit it and they need to love it more than the gambling then they can avoid gambling at all.
Easy to say but so hard to execute. Its only possible if you help yourself to survive and to totally stop that addiction, gambling is always there but your life is not so better to spend more time with your fanily, and with the right person. Ask for some help if you can’t do it alone, don’t be afraid to share your experience.
1069  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Avoid trading unless you are sure of what you do on: January 15, 2019, 02:18:26 PM
I do not know and I also do not want to compare trading or gambling (poker or something). In my opinion it really needs management in trading both risk, information, strategy and analysis because we need it all so we are sure about what we will trade.
Trading is not simple as gambling, because you spend sleepless nights in order for you to produce a good guidelines for your trading. Avoid trading if you are not knowledgeable about it, keep making yourself better before you trade, this is for you own sake so you can save money.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: January 15, 2019, 12:59:23 PM
I think it starts with the odds, having thought of your money being multiplied by millions, which has a small chance, even smaller chance than being struck by a lightning bolt. (Popular belief). Starting it like that could eventually become a habit. Once it becomes a habit, it’s already a part of your daily routine, or weekly, depending on your status. If you keep thinking about it and you cannot manage your day without having to do it, then it could already be an addiction.

I think everyone has known or seen someone with addiction. Even with varying types of addiction, the main thing is that it’s still addiction and people need help.

Addiction is common but how we can get out of from there will be the big problem that all people reaction because if we once entered into gambling then we cannot get out of from it at any time so edition is increasing day by day we need to reduce them in the starting stage.
Addiction will not happen on your first day as a gambler, it happens when you keep on coming back even if you are losing and it incease more when you gamble day by day. We can get out of that if we want to, but if you choose to keep playing, then leaving the casinos is not your priority anymore.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid Dump after listing on: January 15, 2019, 11:48:29 AM
Yes, there are too few investors and this is why many projects are waiting for listing their tokens. It's a big problem because ICO investors in that way loose faith about that project.
The token dumps after listing maybe they have no product yet or most of the hodlers are bounty hunter who loves to dump token after listing. I also know some project who are still not available in the market because they are too busy building good projects like Investacoin, i think its right to make an improvemen on their product first before the exchange listing it can attract more investors.
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fell for FUD. Stand your ground bitcoiners! on: January 15, 2019, 11:22:11 AM
Thanks for this enlightment and i wish i had seen this post earlier because i thought bitcoin was about crushing so i wanted to hit the stop loss button in order to decrease my loss. From this information that you have shared i am never going to allow any false messages that are spread about the death of bitcoin convince me to sell of my coins very cheap.
Its ok to cut loss, but be sure it is your target price to cut the loses. Normally people react easily to a FUD news without any basis, its bad to see action like that. This post should be taken seriously, I don’t even think bitcoin will die just because its dumping, we will go for more good prices in the future.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of winning be with all the gamblers in 2019. on: January 15, 2019, 05:53:27 AM
This thread is sounding like just another discussion on superstition based gambling. Even gambling is based on luck, we cannot win by believing into God nor into superstitions. Because luck factor is beyond the reach of anything like that. It may happen on its own and may not happen too. No control over it absolutely.
But there are really people who do continue to believe that these things to really exist. It may sound dumb but we have seen foolish actions been done by these gamblers without even realizing that they are making themselves like crazy. No other thing on this world can really affect the outcome specially on gambling.
Its their belief so i think its ok as long as there are not depending on that one. But honestly, in gamblig you should only believe to yourself who works on that and not by anyone, we cannot continue to gamble and pray everyday to win, its not gonna happen because we all want to win but still, the house is the winner at the end.
1074  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: January 14, 2019, 11:14:09 PM
Banks is old institution that already survive in many condition. I am believe banks will keep survive and adopting cryptocurrency if crypto growing more bigger. Banks still needed for transaction and i think government will keep banks to boost economic growth
They are big enough to survive but if they don’t adopt, I don’t think they can survive in the competiton. Many bank already used blockchain technology, and so far its running well for them. Let’s wake up now, and accept that banks is just making money through our money, we need a technology like this to control our own money.
1075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle tough times in cryptocurrency? on: January 14, 2019, 10:34:22 PM
As trader, that does not mean we must always actively make sell and buy orders. Sometimes we also have to wait for the right time to return to the trading platform again. So, to overcome the tough times, we can do other activities, entertainment things will be better.
There’s a thing called long term trading because the market will not always move in favor to your target price so we really need to wait for the right time before we trade again. Its good that we should look for other things and don’t just give up because of the market trend. Tough time will make us better for the future, you should treat it well.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin actually died ? Yes, more than 320 times already on: January 14, 2019, 09:45:32 PM
Even they say that bitcoin got dead, lot of investors and traders always revive bitcoin and still continuing investing from it lot of people still buying and never missed their chance to pump again.
One thing is for sure, if bitcoin hits the bottom it will not last on that level for at least one day because many investors will be more happy to buy bitcoin on that level. We died yet we are still kicking right now and as we move forward, the price will become more expensive.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC? on: January 14, 2019, 03:24:42 PM
Based on https://coinmarketcap.com/. XRP defeated ETH again. Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC too in the future?
Have you seen the big difference between btc and xrp? Looking at the CMC right now and I can say that there is no chance for XRP to take over the top spot because bitcoin is too good at that level. We know how XRP moves it price, its a centralized one and for sure they can easily move and dump their price which is too risky for some investors.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On what kind of gambling you got maximum reward from betting? on: January 14, 2019, 01:55:02 PM
Not sure if it was mentioned before but if we are talking percentage wise and betting on sports, your percentage of winning will increase if you bet on sports that have only two possible outcomes.
Either the Home or the Away team wins. Tennis and Volleyball for example cant end in a draw. So you chances are 50/50 compared to sports that can end in a draw where the chances of winning now drop to 33%.
This sports betting makes a good money for me before, i do love volleyball and locally we have a great teams fighting for the title if you bet on the good teams higher profit will come to plus you will enjoy watching the game you love, sports betting is the best gambling for me which is less risk.
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why each and every ico is failing.??? on: January 14, 2019, 12:55:11 PM
How do you expect an ico to keep in the current conditions? In my crypto environment, I think there is a problem of trust. For Icos, this confidence shortage is higher. No one wants to join an ico.Buy more cheaply after the stock market. Therefore, icos fail.
Because of so many scams project, ICO investors don’t trust that anymore and until now very few are a real investors. Most of the failing project has no real usage in this market and they really deserve to be kicked out. You can wait for exchange listing or take the risk of an early investors, its all your decision.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My 2 cents on: January 14, 2019, 12:14:01 PM
Gambling should never be a source of income, unless you are a profesionnal poker player. Most chance games like slots etc. aren't designed for gamblers to win. They are designed to make you feel like you could win. It's an overused slogan but in the end the house always wins.
Let’s learn from this experience, he made a mistakes to depend on a riskier way of earning which is gambling. Making this as a source of income is a great way for you to experience bad things in life, and that’s what happen to the OP. Hoping for a fast recovery of the OP, we can always make money let’s not give up life.
