I don't think bouties will be gone anytime soon. There's always some people who want to get rich fast and include any ideas into blockchain and of course, investors who also want a piece of the cake. That being said, the thing we should be more worried about is the decline of quality projects.

The very notion of cryptocurrency is money, so there's nothing wrong if our primary goal is to earn some. The beauty of this forum is that while you make money through cryptocurrencies, you also gain knowledge from the information that lies upon a bunch of threads.

There's a lot of people doing that--investing more in atcoins and less on bitcoin. For instance, EXRN, an altcoin, did not conduct an ICO but is in different exchanges. People believing that it has a huge potential buy it on exchanges more frequently. I myself have done this and believe that it is more profitable.

There is a trend every year that the price pumps in the last few months of the year so it might be possible that it can reach $10k in september and then pump a little more up to December. On another note, you might want to consider investing in altcoins or ICO. The gains in BTC are much less compared to them.

I will probably sell it as it is a gain no matter how you see it; profit is profit. If perhaps the coin pumped beyond 200% and I have sold, I will certainly regret selling but it also just means that I haven't maximized my earnings.

2 and a half months is not normal. Investors will be infuriated with that if that were the case. Even if they said that they were trying for major exchanges, I still think that it is fishy and irresponsible on the team's part.  

You can do airdrops. I have earned a few thousand dollars by just literally doing nothing except holding airdrop tokens and then selling them when I think the price is right. Some of the airdrops I got was BLUE, HYDRO, EXRN, ACC, POS, EBTC. Alternatively, you can just do bounties.

Altcoins were clearly created to push further the potential of blockchain. However these improvement claims like faster and cheaper transactions remain to be unverified until these altcoins operate on the same scale as bitcoin. Because alts being less popular, process transactions quickly as a result less people using it which gives it the illusion of being faster.

I believe that the pump will still happen in 2018. Yes, the pump last year was unhealthy and many people lost money because of that. However this event gives people a chance to learn from the mistakes and try again (if they have it in themselves). There are still 7 months, we'll see how it goes.

I mainly use okex and kucoin. Both has nice volume, UI and fast support. I never had any issues with it. However, the withdrawal fees those two are too high so sometimes I consider using cryptopia.

Not really. The quality of projects may seem diminishing but seasoned investors are still there analyzing and picking potential hard cap ICOs. Make sense that they'll stick around because this is where money is.

IMO, bitcoin would reach $6k and eth to $300 then market will bounce again. Around this time of the previous year, alts were dominant and bitcoin lost a large share in the cryptocurrency market. Maybe it will also happen now...or not. I have no knowledge on TA or other chart reading stuffs so this is purely speculation based on my past experiences.

Blockchain will not exist if the idea of cryptocurrencies was not birthed, vice versa. That being said, what would be the best application of it other than the sector of exchanges and businesses? We are more acquainted in this area compared to other fields like infrastructure and gaming that was recently started.

If you have enough money to spare, go for cryptocurrencies. It is a popular trend at the moment and you are considered an early investor. Compared with stock market, there are already established entities that have enough influence on the market. With cryptocurrencies, gains are much better compared to the latter.

Just my two satoshis, we're going on an accumulation phase. Same with what's happening on the previous years, people tend to pull out their money out of the cryptocurrency market to invest in other things.  

I feel generally positive that eth will reach this price as it started at price around $400 compared to last year at $3. Besides, it is one of the coin with the most active dev so no doubt it could reach success this year. 

I feel generally positive with alts. Of course not all are promising but years from now,  those who have a legit good idead would be beneficial to our society - - like how Internet was once not accepted immediately when it was introduced.

Altcoins actually have traits that bitcoin might not have. With that, people will speculate how that certain altcoin is valued in the future. So it basically give people a chance to be at the foundation or be a pioneer of something like what happend to bitcoin.

If its ERC20 or pre-mined, I immediately sell it. Almost all tokens of the said kind go down in price after being listed on exchanges. Of course there are some exceptions like INS token but that basically the overall trend.
