Ich würde mir keine allzu großen Hoffnungen, denn der Bot muss zum einen schon mal die Gebühren reinholen, die für Trades anfallen, zum anderen ist es nicht so einfach auf Dauer mit Trading den Markt zu schlagen.
Unmöglich ist das sicher nicht, wenn man sehr gute Indikatoren hat und diese zu seinem Vorteil zu nutzen weiß, aber dies erfordert viel Erfahrung, Justierung, Experimente mit historischen Daten, ...

Die x20 allerdings auch nur, wenn man das ATH genau erwischt hat beim Verkauf. Aber schon richtig, dass bei einem Einstieg vor dem Dezember/Januar-Bullrun leicht x5-x10 gemacht werden konnte, aber das ging quasi mit jeder halbwegs relevanten Coin (und auch mit umso mehr Shitcoins).

Für den S****zvergleichsclub ist mein Portemonnaie leider noch zu dünn.

Threads zu bestimmten Themen suchen funktioniert erfahrungsgemäß über Google (mit site:bitcointalk.org) besser.
Ansonsten schaue ich öfter in die Altcoin-Foren Discussion und Speculation, allerdings bringt mir das in letzter Zeit nicht mehr viel.
Am Anfang wurde mir der eine oder andere Denkanstoß zur Coin-Recherche gegeben, aber größtenteils ist das Echo-Kammer und Beweihräucherung des eigenes Portfolios.
Aufgrund von Signaturkampagnen bin ich jedoch "gezwungen" dort auch hin und wieder meinen Senf abzugeben, wobei ich versuche mich neutral zu halten und möglichst hilfreiche Beiträge zu verfassen, was bestimmt auch nicht immer so gut gelingt wie erhofft. Man merkt der Qualität der Beiträge an, dass ich nicht der einzige bin, dem es so geht.

Wenn ich ehrlich bin, finde ich den Announcement-Thread-Spam im deutschen Altcoinforum auch nicht besser. Das einzig interessante sind die paar dort Diskussionsthreads in denen tatsächlich ab und zu sinnvoll interagiert wird. Dort ist die Qualität auch höher als im englischen Unterforum. Jetzt wo ich länger dabei bin habe ich mich zwar an die Masse an Threads gewöhnt und kann die Informationen entsprechend filtern, aber als Neuling weiß man erstmal überhaupt nicht was Sache ist. Wird einfach zu unübersichtlich mit den tausenden Coins und Token.

I didn't hear anything particularly bad about Cryptopia and at least their in a developed country with proper laws.

Some heuristics is enough in my opinion. Like recognizing a double bottom for example. On the other hand looking at n-day averages is rather pointless.
When looking at buy opportunities I would try to individually look at each chart, compare it with the current progress of the project etc.

I expect Ethereum to be at $3k  to $4k at the end of the year, assuming the whole market will increase by a factor of 3 and smart contracts will continue to gain importance. There will certainly be new applications for smart contracts, which will be continuously more mature and battle-proof thanks to technologies like Quantstamp.

I think ripple is a nice complementary asset to the traditional decentralized cryptocurrencies, so I happily hold about 10% of my portfolio in it.
Its scientific foundations are quite solid and adoption by big players are always at the doorsteps, so I remain bullish.

It's never too late. You just have to pick the right entry points. Never buy at the peaks when the hype is the biggest.

It's a once in a life time chance to revolutionize the financial system and take everyone aboard, regardless of origin and wealth.

NEO is the most solid choice in my opinion. TRON and (imho) also IOTA are hyped a lot and they're already priced quite highly, so there aren't that many opportunities for gains.
WAVES might be worth having a look at as well, cause it might rise to NEO-levels as well.
