What identifiers of the relevant transactions and confirmation that these transactions belong to the exchanges? If u read back i warned all they were stealing and changing swap dates and liein to long term holders but meh and blah to u all... dont they realize im Ex exchange mod and seen this kind of stuff before and know about the goods and the bads devs have done before these fools were even a wink in there 2x dads eye's??!? Warned u all....And i was the 1 that got all there info updated on old pac on topia which made the coin look more verified which got more vol and interest in it but they dont care there just out for themselves and there backpocket. I was 1 of the only sha miners of this coin when it was on ispace mining pool and solo mined abit and never sold at any time but tried to swap and got lied and played like a fool with no crypto clue they were just after stealing my big bag threw there lies and ponzi. Beside, the central bank of at least one EU state does not accept certain old notes from the old currency any more - there are deadlines there as well. Therefore, again, you are simply wrong. The rest of your post are just statements mixed with your interpretations of events and your anger - you are not providing any substantial evidence for anything that would clearly show that the $PAC team has done something wrong. |

CRYPTOPIA HACK UPDATE
Firstly, to the best of the $PAC teams knowledge, only ETH and ERC20 tokens have been the target of the hack whereas all $PAC balances have remained safe... With that said, the response the $PAC team received from the NZ Police department is as follows:

You recently contacted the New Zealand (NZ) Police to advise you were a customer of the Cryptopia crypto-currency Exchange, following notification on the 14th January 2019 it had been placed into ‘maintenance’ after suffering a serious cybersecurity breach.
You advised you have funds held by Cryptopia and wanted to know how to access these. This is, and will remain, a protracted and complex investigation.
Police are currently working in conjunction with Cryptopia management, staff and a number of other agencies to establish how the breach occurred and who is responsible.

NZ police are also working with Cryptopia to enable them to shortly begin communicating directly with their customers. Helped me in the community. I took the very first backup file from the folder bacups. I copied it to my wallet folder and renamed it to walett.dat. Restarted wallet - and lo and behold! My wallet appeared with balance!  )) Thanks for the help! I have thought I have briefly seen your message mentioning that you have had issues using Discord after joining the $PAC discord server; I assume you managed to solve that as well! In any case, I am happy the $PAC wallet issue has been resolved! |

Friendly update to the PAC communityThough all of you are anxious for the return of $PAC functionality on all exchanges, $PAC team needs ample time to finish our next large update properly and include all new security features and several 'quality of life' improvements. This update needs to include security measures against mining attacks, which is a challenging problem the whole crypto-space is trying to solve, not just $PAC. The $PAC developers are working tirelessly, but testing and doing the necessary updates takes time, if it's to be done right. Here is just one example of an unstable, attackable coin being removed from an exchange just the last week. More exchanges are doing this without warning to coins that aren't looking out for their investors. $PAC is NOT going to allow itself to be a target for these chain attacks. https://twitter.com/CryptoCurrEncyX/status/1080169572030971904We have a short term plan in the works to hopefully give us some more time, for which one expects the exchanges will accept as an interim solution. This fix also aims to improve mining hash power on the network. This may mean a continued, but temporarily high, confirmation mode for exchange fund verification - do note that this is purely for the sake of security, and will hopefully allow improved, yet limited functionality during this period. Also, please note that this is based on exchanges accepting this short term fix, this doesn't mean that all of them will open $PAC transactions on their platforms. $PAC team realizes this is not ideal, but one needs the additional time to prepare the next updates which should increase the stability and security of the $PAC network long-term.

Thanks for your reply. I have the latest version of the wallet and OS Windows7. I deleted all the files except what you said. The wallet is loaded. But my balance and transaction is not ((All blocks are synchronized to the last.
What do you mean by that exactly - is your $PAC balance is zero or wrong? Are any of transactions shown or all of them are missing? If the $PAC balance is zero and all transactions are missing, this might indicate that the wallet.dat file was newly generated (since the previous one got damaged or was missing or is in wrong folder / place / computer). In this case, I would not try to open close your wallet again until this is dealt with. Instead, I suggest you to join the $PAC discord server ( https://discord.gg/Bx2HKfy) and describe your problem in the #paccore-wallet-support channel the best you can. My idea would be to recover the wallet.dat file from the backup you created before, or from backup copies created by the wallet itself (present in the "backups" folder inside the "PaccoinCore" folder). In any case, $PAC discord server is the place one has the best chance at solving the issue you have. |

Hi, which version of the wallet on which OS are you using? If you are not running the current version, please install it - the current version can be found here: https://wallets.paccoin.net/. If you are already running the current version of the desktop wallet, try restarting your device / computer. If that does not help, you could delete everything but wallet.dat, masternode.conf and paccoin executable in the wallet folder and then start the wallet again. Before you do anything make sure you make a backup copy of your wallet.dat (and masternode.conf if you are running masternodes). |

Successful Refugee Christmas Dinner - The $PAC Charity Department Wishes everyone Merry Christmas!$PAC, together with their partners Cripto Conserje and their new sponsor GlobalBoost, hosted a successful Christmas dinner for Venezuelan refugee families in Cúcuta Colombia combined with an art-contest for refugee children. The art that has been produced will be sold at the next Washington Elite Blockchain & A.I. Summit in Washington DC on February 1st and 2nd in 2019. After the dinner, everyone received presents and the children got lap-time with Santa Claus! Everyone was impressed when they saw Santa. They also received $PAC grab-bags filled with essential goods. We plan to build this group into a gradually expanding vibrant community that uses crypto. We will build this with more families, more living space, more food and they will use crypto to build their own economy and get more jobs created in the process!
