LOL I see the naysayers have been working the room all day like a 5 dollar hooker!..We must have a winner here folks!..Don;t let their spew shake you up..the ones that sold they bought your coins already
?

Still switching my BTC rig to MZC periodically and mining.  Also converting NMC and LTC into MZC.

I bought some at 1400, some at 700, some at 590... my investment isn't huge, but it's steadily getting bigger.

I see enough upside potential that I don't plan any changes soon.

Well right now the coin has absolutely no direction without the Lakotas in the picture, which they're clearly not.

Yeah, since Barack Obama isn't into bitcoin, it has absolutely no direction without the Americans in the picture, which they're clearly not.

Getting a bit annoyed at a few thousand coins at rocketpool that have been sitting unconfirmed for a couple of hours at least.  Anyone else with delays?

How many of the folks here declaring the death of Mazacoin gave two thoughts to tribal governments, and other indigenous organizations that are not tribal governments, before this coin was born?

It could be bad, it could be that it doesn't mean much.  Tribal governments are not the only thing that moves things among Native Americans.

Yeah, feuding prolly isn't great, but is it the end?  I doubt it.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MZC][SHA-256] MAZACOIN *First Sovereign Currency* ANDROID WALLET AVAIL.!! on: March 15, 2014, 03:12:28 PM
Anybody who has dealt with Native American groups for a while knows that they notoriously seem fractious and, often, disorganized.  There's a lot of reasons for this, and what those reasons might appear to be to outsider's eyes may not be what the 'fighting' really means on the inside.  So the existence of the odd internet criticism of this guy or that woman in and of itself in all likelihood doesn't mean much of anything.  What's important is the big picture.

What is the actual factual basis - i.e. the specific claim and counterclaim - about the issue of Mazacoin and "sovereign currency"?  I'm not asking for partisan responses, I'm asking for the factual basis on which people are relying.
206  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: March 15, 2014, 02:23:22 PM
I just reported HashLast_CL and his ridiculous moderated and now closed 800GH thread to the mods.

Please delete this thread and ban user HashFast_CL. Thread self moderated + closed = obsolete + spam

He's go the mentality of maladjusted 13 year old.  But I think he announced he was going to lock it whenever he saw Cedivad online.  He deleted a post of mine in about 5 seconds.  What a sad case.

What's scary is that if HasfFart_CL really is fairly senior in the company, and I suspect that might be true, then this dude's sad fighting with everyone, despite the overwhelming bad ratings and criticism, suggest that Hashfast is getting really desperate for sales to prop the company up.

Thank you, but you don't need to wish me good luck. I made quite a bit off of MazaCoin, and I was fortunate that I didn't re-invest my entire profits back into this coin. The people who need the luck are those who have not sold yet and are hoping the coin will rebound.

The rest of us will do what we can to make sure pump-and-dumpers like you aren't a big part of the future of this coin.

Excuse me? You have no idea how I invested in this coin in the first place, and the circumstances upon which I made my profits. Just because I came out ahead doesn't mean I am a pump and dumper. If you really want to know, I bought the coin cheap because I saw the potential in this coin before the major pump happened. I then set my sell order for a ridiculously high amount (basically I didn't think it would sell and I wanted to hold and see the coin rise in value). I went to sleep. I wake up the next morning and my order sold. Is that my fault? I took half of my profits and put them back into MazaCoin near 18k satoshi. Does this sound like a pump and dumper to you? If you actually read this thread you would see that not only was I trying to help with debunking the FUD, but I also went out of my way to try and help Payu with wide-spread adoption for the coin. Thanks.

Okay, fair enough... I have not read all 50 pages... you may have done some things of which I'm not aware.

Still, if you were offering everything for sale from the get go.  You know, I don't have my bitcoins at an exchange with $800 on 'em.

I am 100% out of MazaCoin, and 100% sure I made the right decision. Get out while you can guys! Unfortunately, this ship is going down fast!

Patience.  At the price it is now, what's the point of getting out?  Mine and hold, support real possibilities for Mazacoin economy.

Mining away here, periodically switching my hashes between BTC and MZC.  Sure wish I could find a good merged pool.

I'm mining and holding Mazacoin.  I've got a little card mining LTC, which I also convert into Mazacoin, just a couple hundred a day.

First and foremost, I want it to work as simple sound investment.  Yes, high risk, but so is almost everything in cryptocurrency.

But Mazacoin also hits a soft spot for me.  I'm not native but I've worked (professionally) with indigenous people on a lot of policy issues.  I really want this to work for political reasons, and am throwing some hashpower, and low market buying, into it for that reason too.

Man, somebody come up with an online shop accepting Mazacoin that sells some nice quality goods made by Lakota. Really made by Lakota.  Not junky tourist crap.  I'd spend Mazacoin there.

Hell, for instance, I already regularly buy real wild rice, really wild, really indigenous harvested, from Minnesota.

Or offering services.  MazaDaddy.com registrar.  :-)

Seriously, some nice products made by Lakota that are payable in Mazacoin?  Awesome.  Produced by a functional cooperative of some sort, or through a portal that enables individual Lakota to offer things on fair terms? Perfect.

Anyone with a Batch 1 BJ order who then ordered a BJ upgrade card in Batch 2 get their shipment yet?  I think I've seen one report, but I'm not sure.

Wonder who the dingletards are on cryptsy who keep putting in gobs of orders to buy/sell MZC 100 at a price difference of 1 satoshi.

Let them pile up at bitminter and then transfer them to your exchange of choice when you are ready to sell them.

And what about Mazacoin merged mining?   Grin

What sayeth the Doctor?

216  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: March 13, 2014, 02:16:12 AM

I'm sure they have sent out 1 or 2 of each category (except maybe MPP) so they can say they are shipping everything... that seems to be their M.O. judging from that picture of Amy with 2 boxes.

Haven't even heard them claim that they've sent upgrade boards.   I guess they've sent one now.  And yes, that does seem to be their MO.

Some people concluded that the guy a couple weeks ago who sold a couple of BJs with 2 boards on ebay got his upgrades, but what I think was going on there was that he had several BJs and put two boards into one machine... leaving him with a couple of shells.... as he was probably trying to max income from selling hardware earlier while anticipating arrival of MPP and/or upgrade boards.

What a streak of lousy luck.... how about merged mining with Mazacoin?

Some premined, yes, but if it works, that'll help the guys on the "rez" (reservation), and that's a not a bad thing to do while mining.

218  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: up to 800GH/s on: March 12, 2014, 10:04:00 PM
Is it true that Hashfast_CL is also behind market leaders such as CTSminers and PhotonicMining?

No, PhotonicMining is way to well done to be related to HashFast their website scrolls for starters and it is a creative scam.  HashFast is just a BFL scam clone ripoff.

Stop insulting Josh.  He may be a scammer, but he's way smarter and his company has been way more successful than Hashfast.

You won't be mining much peseta's with that rig.

Thank you, Sherlock.

Quote
The current hashrate is 25 GH/s. Assuming the difficulty stays constant, 150kh/s will net you 1.4 peseta's per day.
If you mine at an merged mining pool, you will get some doge in the process though.

It wobbles up and down constantly.  Presently about 20 gh.  Difficulty variance pretty significant too.

Quote
To get an approximation of your coins per day, divide your hashrate by the current network hashrate (pesetacoin client, console,  command getnetworkhashps). Then multiply it by the total amount of coins mined per day (1 block per minute, 166 peseta's per block, 239040 peseta's per day).

I kind of like harder data.  To wit, as it turns out, at about an actual 24 hours now, it's mined 3.7 pesetas, rather than 1.4.

Enough to keep me mining for a while.

What's up with this coin?  I've had a 120-150 k/hash card mining it for almost 24 hours and have only .6 pesetas confirmed.  pesetaco.in pool also seems to be experiencing lag.  Is there something wrong?  How long will it take before I get confirmations and can really see what this card will mine per day?

PS:  Wow, 30 seconds after I post this, an "unconfirmed" field appears in the pool page.  Is somebody reading this or was that dumb luck?
