201  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [INSTOCK in California] Selling Gridseed Asics. Ship from California. [$235] on: March 09, 2014, 09:44:24 PM
its starting to look like the best I'm going to get out of these things 12 miners in dual mode is ~1100khs scrypt. I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed in this.
202  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [INSTOCK in California] Selling Gridseed Asics. Ship from California. [$235] on: March 09, 2014, 09:42:59 PM
If I cant rectify this I might go back to CPUMiner and see if I can get CGMiner to see more than one at a time.

Unplug the miners start cgminer then plug in the miners one at a time should start seeing them.

I'm currently away form their location so the best I can do is unplug them and plug them back in over the internet (disable in device manager, then re enable). Not sure if that will work but I'm going to try.

Overall it sounds about right then on the BTC side,, but ya,,, let us know if the scrypt comes up Smiley

When I only had scrypt working the 12 miners were close to 3,000khs. I wonder if these things cant do both at full speed? I'm not in the same location as the miners so I cant check them for heat or power draw right now.

looks like using the private IP address of my BTC pool fixed the non BTC mining. Smiley

Mining both LTC and BTC with 12 grids right now!
so does that mean with 12 you are hashing BTC at 120 g/hash and scrypt at 3600 m/hash...give or take lol

Well, since the web GUI that the controller puts up isnt worth a s*** I cant tell what they are actually doing but my BTC pool shows 128ghs and my LTC pool shows 1,225khs. Seems like I need to give the LTC pool time to catch up.

I went and picked up my second order of grids from Zoomhash yesterday. This group came with a controller (not in a case) with a little sd card in it. I managed to get into the controller to change pool settings but none of the miners are mining.

Anyone have any pointers? The controller GUI is in Chinese so I really have no clue as to what its saying.

FWIW, I'm trying them in dual mode.

The miners seem to be mining LTC but not BTC. Need help.... Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure.... but we can mine for other scrypt alt coins besides LTC right?

Any coin that uses scrypt. Someone asked about Bit try this. I don't do bit. Thanks

Tried that on Friday. I couldnt get Windows to see more than one miner at a time.

I belive they will mine any scrypt coin but I have not tried anything other than LTC.

Zoom, the interface on the controller you guy sell is garbage. The lease you could have done was to have these things flashed to english so we can better understand what were looking at.

Nice, gota try this tomorrow. I've only been able to get one to connect at a time so I went back to CPUminer.  Grin

Anyone else try the already compiled version of cgminer for windows that can connect to the gridseeds? I was able to get it to connect and mine with one at a time but never anymore than that.

So I`m guessing ebay wins.

Not really...

All sold.

750 @ 670 = 1.2BTC. You can buy them NEW for 1.16BTC.

I'll match 1.16. Smiley

FYI.

All miners have also been listed on eBay.

Hello all.

I've decided to sell my 11 Antminer S1's. Asking $750US in BTC equiv (coinbase.com) each shipped to lower 48, everywhere else will have to pay for shipping. Shipping to lower 48 will be UPS ground in original packaging. They all have the PCIe power connectors.

No power supplies will be sold with the miners. I've had them for a few months and they have all worked great.

Escrow will be done by gweedo, buyer to pay his fee.

FYI, I'm NOT a fan of shipping overseas. Its a huge PITA but I will do it. I will not, however, lie on the customs documentation about value so dont ask.

I've seen people say that they don't even need fans in scrypt mode only. Is this true in your experience?

Dont know yet. The miners I bought shipped without their controller so I've been mining with them in Windows. But, in Windows, they run in dual mode and you cant turn off the SHA cores. I would imagine that they would run just fine in scrypt only even without a fan but I'm not trying that until I get a controller or connect them to a linux rig where they can mine in single mode.
220  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [INSTOCK in California] Selling Gridseed Asics. Ship from California. [$249] on: March 03, 2014, 02:50:01 PM
Yeah, You need a couple Delta 120CFM fans to move some air away in dual mode.

FWIW, the 4U case I put 8 of them inside of has 6 120mm fans on the incoming air side and lots of air holes on the backside. Didnt matter much to these things, they got warm quick. I took the lid off of the case and they are fine now.

I'm going to find another permanent home for them outside of the case. The 3 I have sitting out in the open stay so cold that you wouldnt notice that they were running if it wasnt for the fans!
