He who has the best resources gets it all and dump at will. Check out the growth graph. Less accounts but more MRAI distributed to top accounts. The 1% wins again. Let's end this charade. I suggest the dev team just sell all with a sell wall. No need for that donation bullshit. 400,000 MRAI sell wall every day. It's fucking funny people have to jump through hoops to get MRAI. Agree I am led to think that the only reason why the dev is not changing things and distribution may be because he is profiting from this distribution. Else, he would have changed. |

We have decided we will distribute a portion of the Skycoin over time to people running Skycoin meshnet nodes. To promote network usage and to get users on to the network and balance out the whales.
This is probably the most fair way to distribute a lot of coins and no one will complain about it. If distribution lowers the price, we will cut back the distribution rate. We will have to determine empirically what the right amount should be.
So this will be very similar to mining and will be a good way of getting coins into the hands of the user community.
It is very important for future price : You are saying you will directly intervene to support the price. In order to never be under last ICO price ? Will you temporary cut distribution to 0 if necessary ? Conversely, if price has doubled, what will you do ? Distribute more and eventually lower the price ? Or consider thresholds like X2, X3, X5, and create a "ratchet effect" to be sure it never goes under these thresholds ? Thanks by advance for your answer |

you underestimated BB's real marketcap. BB only released 13.4% of its total coins so far. Its marketcap for the 13.4% of coins is 10,000 btc. It means that its overall marketcap for all its coins is 74,626 btc (10,000/13.4%), about $74 millions. Not true my friend. Do you calculate BTC marketcap by multiplying coin price with Circulating Supply or 21 million? Totally different. Future bitcoins don't exist and are to be mined during the next decades. Byteball are already created and distribution is the "prince's will". They all will be distributed in 18 months. The money supply already exists. Please read my reply to zanzibar. Anyone can choose the best math for his own interest or point of view, but the wiser or experimented trader will easily acknowledge that future BTC are not even created and far from being created (decades), there is no uncertainty and at this stage it won't trigger a massive dump and distribution. Conversely, the wiser will anticipate that 87 % of Byteball are going to be distributed in a matter of months, and that the whole current marketcap is highly linked to the coins left to be issued, not the coins already issued ! When 75% are issued, in about a year, the marketcap, based on issued coins, will be more relevant. But hey, it is Iota thread ! |

If I understand correctly, the cap of IOTA at the present price ~20 micronBTC is about 60,000 BTC. Is that right? Looks no much profit room.  Yes, it seems overbought for the time being. Its listing effect. ydx exchange works as good as any other major exchange (or even better in pumping sense) so everybody wanted to buy iota can buy it now. Are you kidding? 60k = #12 cmc. Dash is at 758.200 BTC. THAT´S overbought! IOTA is somewhat uncertain that might be better than byteball to the general public. So, 20'000 btc marketcap is way more legit these days (while BB has 10'000). I agree that there is still a large risk for buying IOTA as it is still uncertain. It stands at a high price but with an unsure future. What do you mean by unsure? does DASH or BTC future is sure? What is the more risky and smartless ? buying an obsolete blockchain coin like BTC, ETH or DASH and other cryptos whith already more than a Billion marketcap, at the top of the hype cycle, or a proved and solid challenger with only 50 M$ marketcap, whis has room to make X50 ? Especially when whales still can't buy it because it is not listed. |

I've been taken a closer look into Byteball and have a few questions. Would be grateful if this someone could answer.
1) First question concerns the distribution. Indeed, there are many big stakeholders who have linked their Bitcoisn, such as Lisk ICO account. As I have read, there is an agreement as to when these are held. But what is afterwards? How do you make sure that there is not a big dump after the holding time is over when several ICO accounts sell their byteballs?

Of course, buy low sell high. Why would have I bought AMP at all time highs? Only newbies do that. I am a market expert for 10+ years. But still i think AMP will go higher than 33000 after this alpha/beta release comes out. It's a very competitive concept thats for sure. It's just that I will make more money than those who bought at all time highs, but they will make money too, after the world adopts Synereo. I am interested to know what are your others coins. I saw XCP but no more. |

If it goes to exchanges soon, I see 5 qualities making iota very very attractive for markets, and even dangerous for most altcoins :
- No blockchain
- No fees
- No scability problems
- Quantum resistant
- Multi billion and growing market (IoT)
